• This appliance should be
operated according to the
present technical manual.

or disconnect the appliance

• Avoid any undue contact
of the operator with the
processed product.

works, including cleaning,

This manual has been elaborated
for your own safety, as well as for
the one of third parties. You must
respect all aspects described herein,
along with all special national and
European regulations, as well as
to consult the manual in relation to
the use of machinery/ appliances
and keep it at a good condition,
having in mind that you might
need to refer to it in the future.
Before setting the appliance
in operation, user should be
aware of the requirements-

3.1 Delivery
The appliance is delivered packed at
such a position allowing immediate
use. Please keep the same position
during installation and operation.
Usetheapplianceonlyaeryouhave
checked and cleaned it according
to the instructions included in the
following paragraphs of the manual.
3.2 Transport
The appliance is dedicated for
table- use only. You do not
need any elevation machine
to transport the appliance.
ATTENTION! Before you transport
of the machine, make sure you
have unplugged the appliance
and that the cable is safe from
any possible damage.
3.3 Storage
Should you need to store the
appliance, please protect from
weather conditions and make sure
it is stored in a place accessed
only by authorised persons.
3.4 Installation
The area in which the appliance
shall be installed must be
sucientlyairedandlighted.The
appliance is not designed for
operationinexplosivezones.
Do not install the appliance in
too dusty areas or with high
humidity levels, areas directly
exposedtosunlight,outdoors
or close to heating sources.
Install the appliance on a stable,
atandhorizontalsurfacethatcan
load the appliance and the contents
processed in the container.
The appliance is equipped with
nonslipelasticlmspreventing
vibrations from being transferred
and stopping the appliance
from moving while in use.
For safe operation of the appliance,
you should reassure single-phase
power, 220/230V voltage and
50/60Hz phase. In any case, you
should make sure that voltage and
power frequency is of the same
value as the one mentioned on
the label on the appliance or in
the accompanying documents.
The appliance should be connected
to an earthed bipolar socket. The
electrical installation, which the
socket belongs to should be made
according to the current relative
legislationandregulations(Κ.Ε.Η.Ε.,
ELOT HD384andothers),properearth
be made, while the line powering
the respective socket be protected
with a suitable fused isolator.
Make sure that the appliance is
installed in a place or in such a
way that the cable is protected
from possible damages.
Before plugging the appliance to the
socket,makesurethatanyauxiliary
equipmentyouwishtouse(cable
extension,multi-socketappliance
andothers)issuitable.Conrmthat
anyauxiliaryequipmentmeetsall
safetyspecicationsandbearsthe
necessary signing, as required.

4.1 Designated Use
The appliance has been designed for
processing of edible products with
stirring/mixing,suchascoee,cocoa
etc, and/ or for preparation of product
creams(milkshake,beatenmilketc).
Appliance in not designed for solid
productsprocess(i.e.ice)thatmight
damagethemixingpartsandalso
themotor.Asanexception,youmay
addinthecontainer,duringmixing,
groundice,milkpowderorso
ice-cream on the condition that the
proportion of liquid- solid shall be
retained to 80%-20% respectively.
Propellers(plasticormetallicones)
have not been designed to grind,
crash or cut any kind of edible or
nonedibleproduct,butexclusively
tomix/stiredibleliquidsand/
orsosolidsaccordingtothose
speciedinthepreviousparagraph.
Donotllthecontainerup,toavoid
overowingduringfoodprocessing.
Adding products in the container while
the appliance is in use is FORBIDDEN.

4.4 Methods of Operation
The appliance
is equipped
withΟΝ-OFF
switch(triple
position0–Ι–ΙΙ
switch)placed
on the motor of
the appliance.
The switch
permits turning
axistostartworkingatplaceI(low
speed)orplaceII(highspeed).
ForΑ-2001/Αtype,theappliance
is additionally equipped, apart
fromtheΟΝ-OFFswitch,(see
α/α10,§4.3),withautomated
switch activated once placing the
container on its designated space.
While in operation, do not immediately
move the switch from place I to place
II. On the contrary, to move the switch
fromplaceItoplaceII,moveitrst
toplace0(zero)for1-2secondsand
then move to place II. The switch
has limited duration of life, which is
considerably reduced if not operated
according to the instructions above.
ARTEMIS does not bear any
responsibility in case you
use the switch otherwise
than described above and its
replacement shall not be covered
from guarantee in such case.
4.5 Safety Layout
To protect the user from electrically
charged parts of the appliance, there
arexesfenderspreventingyoufrom
accessing the dangerous areas.
Fixesfendersshouldbeexamined
on a daily basis, to make sure they
workecientlybeforeyoustart
any work with the appliance.
In case you observe any deviation
from the above mentioned, do not
start the appliance and immediately

Before using the appliance for the
rsttime,cleanitcarefullyaccording
tothosespeciedinChapter6.
To start using the appliance, follow
the below mentioned steps:
1. Plug the appliance in the socket.
Make sure the line proving the
socket with current is protected
by a cut-out relay, according
to the applicable legislation.
2. Add the product you wish to
process, in the container
3. Add the container on its initial place
4. Press the operation
switch to place I
5. Press the operation switch to
place II, should you wish to
speedupmixingprocedure.
Note! Donotllthecontainer
up,toavoidoverowing
during food processing.
Note! Whenstartingtomix,itis
recommended that you switch
the appliance on at position I
(lowspeed)andthenpassto
highspeed(positionII).
Attention! Magneticeldisdeveloped
around the appliance. If you use
cardiac pacemaker and in case you
fell uncomfortably, stay away from the
appliance and consult your physician.
In case of damage or malfunction
of the appliance, please
follow the below steps:
1. TurntheΟΝ-OFFswitch
to position ‘’0’’.
2. Remove the cable from the socket
3. Callauthorisedtechnicalsta

representative.

ATTENTION! Do not attempt to
clean the appliance and its parts
using water under pressure or by
soaking it in water or other liquid.
ATTENTION! Do not attempt
to clean the appliance in a
dish-washing machine.
ATTENTION! When cleaning
the appliance, it should be fully
unplugged.Aercleaningand
before use, please make sure that
the appliance has fully dried.
ATTENTION! During cleaning,
prevent water from entering in the
inner parts of the appliance, where
electrical equipment is put, as risk
of electric shock might appear.
To clean the appliance, do not
use chemical products, peeling
materials or corrosive media,
unsuitable for food processing
appliances. Surfaces that come
to contact with products to be
mixed(axis,mixingpropellers,
metallic&plasticcontainer)
should not be lined.
To clean the appliance, always use
neutral detergent- disinfectant.
Make sure that detergents-
disinfectants you use are suitable
for food processing appliances,
according to their MSDS.
Please observe the application
times mentioned in the MSDS
toavoidtoxicdangers.
Make sure that water having
been used to clean the
appliance is properly drained
to sewage disposal.

Do not attempt to dismantle or
modify in any way the appliance.
The appliance does not contain any
parts that can be repaired by users.
The appliance includes high- voltage
parts. Do not ever attempt to follow
any maintenance procedure not
included in the present Manual.
The appliance is accompanied by
anadditionalmixingpropeller.As
time goes by and depending on the
everydaywear,themixingpropeller
is gradually worn. To replace the
propeller, follow the steps below:
1. Using proper equipment
(screwdriver)unboltthescrew
holding the propeller on the turning
axis.Thescrewmaybefoundat
the bottom side of the propeller.
2. Remove the worn propeller
fromtheaxisandreplace
it with the new one.
3. Bolt the screw back to its position.
Before setting the appliance on
operation,aeryouhavechanged
themixingpropeller,makesure
that you have bolt the screw
tightly and that the propeller is
dully attached to its position.
Replace the propeller regularly,
depending on frequency of use,
every time you observe any wear
on the mixing propeller wings. Non
timelyreplacementofthemixing
propeller might result in obstruction
of the hole which the propeller is
attached to, and replacement of the
appliance motor shall be necessary.
ARTEMIS & Co. G.P. does not assume
any responsibility for non timely
replacement of the propeller and
purchase of a new motor shall not be
covered by the guarantee in such case.

Any other maintenance or repair work
shallbeexecutedonlybyauthorised
technicalsta,uponapprovalofthe
manufacturer or its representatives.
Spare parts that might be used must
be approved by the manufacturer.
For any malfunction or damage of
the appliance, refer to authorised
technicalstaapprovedby
the manufacturer, or to any
manufacturer representative.
 



from regular household waste
streams, according to Directive
2011/65/ΕΚonwasteelectrical

This product should be disposed of
