
3. Assemble Equipment
■ Connect camera head to console
■ Connect light cable
• Plug light cable onto scope (check for correct
light post adapter)
•
• Plug light cable into Synergy console on the
leftmost
• Only for fluorescence imaging: Plug the other
open cable ending of the bifurcated side into
laser console (make sure that it is fully inserted
and leading downwards)
■ White Balance
• Press “LED” button on Synergy console and
dim room lights
• Direct endoscope to a white surface and press
left or right camera head button for white
balance
• If not successful, try again within seconds or
use “White Balance” button on Synergy console
• Green check mark appears on main monitor
once white balance was successful
4. During the Procedure
■ Adjust focus with gray ring on camera head
■ Individual camera button programming, short-
press and long-press functionalities (standard
functions include image / video capture, zoom)
■ Functions and settings can also be controlled
from the tablet
■ Caution: Never directly expose eyes to the light
coming from the light cable or endoscope!
5. End the Procedure
■ Select and confirm with “Yes”
■ Review, export, or print images and videos as
needed; when done, select “Finish Review”
■ The blue tablet start screen will be displayed again
6. Power Down the System
■ Shut down Synergy console (press and
hold green on / o button)
■ Switch o the other devices individually
■ Press main switch on the side of the cart
