●The camera may interference with electronic devices such as TV and radio. Please do not place the camera next to
suchequipment.

2. Introduction
ARTCAM-KAI-USB3 series is a series of high resolution cameras equipped with CCD image sensor of Truesense
Imaging.
ThisseriesadoptUSB3.0interface,sothedatacanbedeliveredtoPCdirectlywithoutacaptureboard.
3. Main Features
・USB3.0 Interface
This series is able to capture large amount of image data to PC directly without capture card or host adaptor card
because USB3.0 interface is adopted. The USB3.0 interface can transfer broad data and is highly compatible to PC,
whichisexpectedtobestandardofnextgenerationPC.

Ifthesystemspecificationsarebelowtherecommendedrequirements,itispossiblethatthecameramaynotreachthe
maximumspeed.
(2)UseofotherUSB3.0hardware
The data on our camera/converter is transferred in bulk mode. For this reason, when using our camera/converter,
please avoid using other bulk transferred USB3.0 hardware such as Memory stick, External HDD, External DVD,
CDROMandetc.
Asa solution,werecommend toinstall aPCIUSBhostcardto thePC and connect external USBhardware to thisport
only.
(3)USB3.0cable Extension
We cannot guarantee the functionality of the USB3 camera if the user adopts USB3.0 extension cables or repeaters
which are not confirmed by us. With the extension cables or repeaters, the bandwidth of transfermay differ, and thus
causedmalfunctions suchasalowframerateor recognition failureonthecamera.
Whatmay cause the problem is that the regulationof thepowerlines becomesnotenough, and so causesimpudence
mismatchondatasignals.
