Please read this user manual carefully before using the product. Retain
these instructions for future reference.
Important Notice:
The air quality grading indicated by the air quality sensor is only to be used as a
reference. Air quality may be affected by the atmospheric environment, room
sealability, objects surrounding the product, size of the enclosed area (room size),
etc.

Notes
• This product is not a substitute for ventilator, vacuum or kitchen hood.
• Ensure the power plug is inserted into the electrical outlet socket all the way to the base.
Incomplete connections may lead to overheating of the power plug.
• The product must be placed and used on a dry and flat area where it is stable.
• Do not touch the product (including the control panel and remote control) when your hands
are wet to avoid electric shock or damage to the product.
• Keep an empty area of at least 40 centimetres on both sides and the back of the product
when it is in used. Avoid objects (e.g. curtains, etc.) from being sucked into the air inlet and
air outlet.
• Do not place any items and do not sit on the product.
• Do not place the product directly under the air conditioner to avoid condensate dripping into
the product.
• Ensure all filters are correctly installed before operating the product.
• Use only original Aspen Aire filters from our company. Do not use filters from other sources.
• Do not hit the product in particular the air inlet and air outlet with hard objects.
• Use only the handle at the back of the unit to lift or move the product.
• Do not insert fingers or other objects into air outlet.
• The product is not intended for use in environments with insecticide sprays, oil particles,
combustible gases or chemical fumes in the air.
• Do not use the product near to kitchen stoves, gas appliances, heating appliances, etc.
• Always unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet socket after using or before
cleaning the product.
• Do not use the product in a room with huge temperature fluctuation. This may result in
condensation inside the product.
• Keep any wireless devices (e.g. television, radio and radio clock) at least 2
meters away from the product to avoid any performance disruption.
• The product is only intended for home use under normal operation conditions.
• Do not use the product in wet or high temperature environments (e.g.
bathrooms, toilets or kitchens).
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not to play with the product
and treat it as a toy.
• Individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities; or with lack of
operation knowledge; or children should not use this product unless they are
given supervision or instruction concerning product use for their own safety.

you for purchasing the Aspen Aire Air Purifier. Kindly read through this
user manual carefully to familiarise yourself with the proper usage
directions of this product before using for best air cleaning results.

3. Installation and Set-up
Note:
•

All the filters are housed within the filter frames and included with the
product. Prior to using the product, remove the filters from the protective
plastic bag and reinstall the filters in the correct order followed by the
pre-filter.

Special Note: Dust generated by BIOWAVE & Nano Fresh Filter due to
friction may stick to the other filters. Do not worry as the dust will not
have an effect on the product function.
Tips:
• You may rest the product against a steady object
to improve stability and ensure it does not fall
when removing or installing filters.
• The product must be placed on a flat floor where
it is stable to avoid it from toppling over and gets
damaged as a result of the fall.

Remove the filter cover by gently
pulling on the crescent shape
grooves located on each side of
the cover (near the top) with your
fingers.
Ensure the filter frame is installed in the correct
direction and that all the pegs on the pre-filter are
correctly inserted to the product.
3.1 Installation of Filters

Remove pre-filter, followed by the
filter frame (housing of the filters)
from the product by pulling the
protective plastic bag.
Remove the filter frame from its
protective plastic bag.
Install the filter set into the
product in the correct direction
and place the pre-filter back into
its position.
Reattach the filter cover by
aligning the pegs on the back of
the cover with the corresponding
holes on the main housing.
Starting with the bottom two,
push the filter cover towards the
product to lock tight.

Air Quality Colour Indicator Air Quality
The built in Odour and Dust Sensors are able to
detect pollutants in the air and indicate a colour
according to the air quality grading. Air quality
colour indicator becomes blue when the air
quality is good, yellow when air quality is normal
and red when air quality is bad.
The air quality colour indicator is only to be used
as a reference.
Friendly Reminder:
Remote Control
The operating method of this remote control is
the same as the control panel on the product.
Refer to the content of this chapter for the detail
functions of every button.
Friendly Reminder:
Remove the insulation plastic sheet at the bottom
of the remote control before using.

4.2 Filter Replacement Indicators
The corresponding lighted number indicates the type of
filter that requires cleaning or replacing. At the same time,
the lifespan of the other filters can be checked as well.
Friendly Reminder:
Number 1 lights up to remind you to check if the pre-filter requires cleaning
and also to check if the SHE Oil Filter is dirty or requires replacing.
When number 2 lights up, it is a reminder for you to check if the Biowave
Filter & Nano Fresh Filter is dirty or needs to be replaced.
Check if the BIO-HEPA Filter is dirty when number 3 lights up. Refer to its
panel indicating filter life as a reference to decide if the filter needs changing.

Note: The above time table is only a recommendation. Please clean or
replace filters according to the environment the product is used in and its
wear and tear conditions. Reset the filter life timer after replacing with a
new filter. The filter light indicator should be off after resetting.
When the product is dissembled and filter light
indicator starts blinking, touch the button and
the options of filter to replace will be displayed.
Choose the filter that has been changed. The light
will stop blinking and change to a steady light.
Press the button for 3 seconds and the filter
light indicator will be off. Resetting is completed.
4.2.2 Resetting the Filter Life Timer

4.2.3 Manual Filter Replacement Mode
You may change the filter according to the seriousness of the air pollution
in the environment. The filter light indicator may not be lighted up at this
moment.
Please follow the operating instructions below after replacing the filter:
Please do it during standby mode (product is connected to electricity but
the control panel is yet to be switched on). Press for 5 seconds and all
filter light indicators will light up. Touch and the filter indicator light
(1 2 3) will be blinking in sequence, one after another. When the blinking
light reaches the filter you want to replace, press for 3 seconds and
the light will go off. Meanwhile, the filter life timer is reset for the selected filter.
Repeat the above steps to change other filters.
The manual filter replacement mode will stop automatically if you touch
or if mode is idle for 60 seconds.
4.3 Fan Speed
You may choose the required fan speed. The fan speed is 1 (low speed)
when the unit is switched on.
1. Press the button to switch on the product.
2. Press the button continuously to change to the desired fan speed.
Friendly Reminder:
• If the air quality colour indicator turns blue, it means the air quality is good. You
may choose to lower the fan speed.
4.4 Timer Setting
1. Press to switch on the product.
2. Press to switch on the timer function. Light indicator (2h/ 4h/ 8h)
will light up.
3. Press continuously to choose the length of time you want the
product to operate. The light indicator of the chosen time will light up.
Please press continuously until the light indicator is off if you would
like to terminate the timer function.
Friendly Reminder:
• The remaining length of time will be displayed. If the timer is set at 8 hours, 4 will
be displayed after 4 hours had passed. After 2 more hours had passed, 2 will be
displayed and this will continue until the time that is set ends.

4.5 Auto Mode
Press to switch on the product.
Press to switch on the auto mode. The product will detect pollutants
in the air quality using its odour and dust sensors and adjust its operating
mode accordingly. Fan speed indicator will light up according to its
operation mode.
4.6 Ioniser Mode
Press to switch on the ioniser mode. The negative ion generator will
start releasing negative ions.
4.7 Sleep Mode
Press the button to switch on sleep mode. The fan speed will be
reduced to the lowest speed during sleep mode.
Once switched on, the product will be in a “semi-sleep” status: “ ”
and “ ” light will be dimmed and the other light indicators and air
quality display will be off. If the product is idle, within 30 seconds it will
enter the “complete-sleep” status. Light indicators and air quality display
on the control panel will be switched off entirely. If other modes are in
used, the product will jump out from the sleep mode.
Touching any button on the touch screen display during the “complete-
sleep” status will change the mode to “semi-sleep” as described above.
4.8 Lock Mode
Press for 3 seconds to activate the lock mode. Once activated, unit
will not be responsive when you press any other buttons. When any other
buttons on the control panel is pressed, the lock signal will blink twice.
Press for 3 seconds to unlock/switch off the lock setting and its light
indicator will be off too.

Cleaning the Air Purifier
Note:
Remove the power plug before starting to clean the product.
Do not immerse the product in water or any form of liquid solutions.
Do not use abrasive, corrosive or inflammable detergent (e.g. bleach or
alcohol) to clean any parts of the product.
Only pre-filter can be cleaned with water. The other filters cannot be cleaned
with water or vacuum cleaner - These filters must be changed.
5.1 Cleaning the Main Housing
Clean the product inside out regularly to prevent
accumulation of dust.
1. Use a soft and dry cloth to wipe off the dust on the
product.
2. Use a soft and dry cloth to clean the air inlet and
air outlet.
3. Do not use wet cloth to wipe the product to avoid
any liquids from getting into the product and
causing operation malfunction.
5.2 Cleaning the Dust Sensor
It is recommended to clean the dust sensor every 2 months to ensure the
product performs at its best. Clean it more regularly if product is placed in
a dusty environment.
Note:
In a damp environment, condensate may form on the dust sensor. The air
quality colour indicator may turn red even though the air quality is good. Clean
the dust sensor if this happens.
1. Use a soft brush to clean the air inlet and
outlet of the dust sensor.

3. Use a damp cotton bud to clean the
sensor’s lens and the air inlet and air
outlet.
4. Use a dry cotton bud to wipe dry.

Cleaning the Pre-filter
Notes:
Only the pre-filter can be cleaned with water.
It is recommended to clean the pre-filter every 30 days to ensure the product
functions at its best.
1. Switch off and unplug the product as
shown in picture (a).
2. Remove the filter cover by gently pulling
on the crescent shape grooves located
on each side of the cover (near the top)
with your fingers as shown in picture (b).
3. Pull both the tabs on the top part of the
pre-filter and gently squeeze/press to
remove it as shown in picture (c).
4. Wash the pre-filter under running water.
Use a soft brush to clean the dust if it is
too dirty as shown in picture (d).
5. Air dry the pre-filter.
6. Place the pre-filter back to the unit
correctly as shown in picture (e).
7. Reattach the filter cover by aligning the
pegs on the back of the cover with the
corresponding holes on the main housing.
Starting with the bottom two, push the
filter cover towards the product as shown
in picture (f).

7. Replacing the Filters
Please follow the steps below for replacing new SHE Oil Filter, BIOWAVE
& Nano Fresh Filter, and BIO-HEPA Filter.

Notes:
All filters cannot be cleaned using water except for the pre-filter. Filters
cannot be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner as well.
Ensure the placement of filters (from inside to outside) is in this order: BIO-
HEPA Filter, BIOWAVE & Nano Fresh Filter, SHE Oil Filter.
Ensure the set of filters are installed in the accurate direction with the SHE
Oil Filter facing out.
1.Switch off and unplug the product as
shown in picture (a).
2.Remove the filter cover by gently pulling
on the crescent shape grooves located on
each side of the cover (near the top) with
your fingers as shown in picture (b).
Remove pre-filter.
3.Remove the entire filter frame by pulling
the ribbons in different directions to open
the frame with both hands. Remove each
of the filters from the frame as shown in
picture (c).
4.Remove all protective plastic bags from
the new filters as shown in picture (d).

Replacing the Filters
Install the new filters into the filter frame.
Ensure the filters are assembled in the
correct order (from inside to outside): ③
BIO-HEPA Filter, ② BIOWAVE & Nano
Fresh Filter, ① SHE Oil Filter as shown in
picture (e).
Note:
Ensure filters are facing the correct direction:
The side with a “front” label should face out.
After that, install the filter frame into the unit
in the accurate direction with the SHE Oil
Filter facing out. Place the pre-filter back
into the unit with the pre-filter outside the
filter frame as shown in picture (f).
Note:
Place the pre-filter back to the unit correctly
as shown in picture (g).
Reattach the filter cover by aligning the
pegs on the back of the cover with the
corresponding holes on the main housing.
Starting with the bottom two, push the filter
cover towards the product as shown in
picture (h).
Refer to 4.2.2 of this user manual to reset
filter life timer.

1. Aspen Aire comes with a warranty of one (1) year from the date of
purchase under normal use & omit damages not incurred by the user
(non-man made damages). Warranty is limited to defects in materials
and workmanship; and damages not incurred by the user.
2. Conditions NOT covered by this warranty as defined below:
a. Claims made after the applicable warranty period (1 year).
b. Failure of purchaser in providing a valid proof of purchase (sales
receipt), alteration of the sales receipt or the sales receipt reflects
a different product model and serial number.
c. Tampering of or damage to the product label and serial number.
Impaired performance or damages to the product caused by
accident, misuse, other conditions (including dampness, moisture,
improper application and handling, etc.) or natural disasters (e.g.
earthquake, fire, etc.).
d. Any damages resulting from unauthorised disassembly,
modification or repair.
e. Any damages caused by usage contrary to the use instructions of
this manual or the use of non-original Aspen Aire parts.
f. Units with conditions agreed by the purchaser prior to purchase
e.g. defective unit, display unit or test unit.
g. Any damages incurred by the user.
3. Transportation charges for repair/ servicing are at the purchaser’s
expense and not covered by this warranty.
4. In no event shall our company and our authorised dealers/distributors
be liable for the failure to perform warranty obligations caused by
indirect or unexpected, circumstantial factors beyond our control,
special, incidental, consequential or indirect damages.
