4. ZigbeeEnrollment:
ThisCO2Sensorneedstobepairedbeforeinstallation.
1. Insert4batteriestothebatterycompartment
2. TheLEDwillblinkthreetimesinambercolorevery2‐3secondswhile
scanningthenetwork.
3. Ifnetworksuccessfullyjoined,theLEDwillbelitfor1secondinambercolor
followedbyashortblinkingreencolor.
4. Ifnetworkisnotfoundafter1minute,thesensorwillgointosleepmode,
theLEDwillblinkinambercolorevery1minute.Youneedtoresetthe
sensortotriggerapairingprocess,andthensensorwillrepeatstepsfrom2
to4.
Toresetthesensor:
1. Removethebatteryfor10seconds
2. Pressandholddownthetamperswitchwhilere‐insertthebattery
3. Releasethetemperswitchwithin3secondsafterinsertthebattery
Note:MACaddressoftheSensorcanbefoundontheQRcodebyscanningit
withyourmobilephone.
5. Mounting
MountingbyScrew
Pressthecasereleasebuttontoseparatethefrontandwallanchorcase.
Thebackcasegivesaccesstoboththeflushmountandcornermount
screwknockouts.Drillthroughtheappropriateknockoutsandusethe
includedscrewstomountinthedesiredmountinglocation.
Itisrecommendedtoensurethereisatightsealaroundtheknockoutsto
preventbugsfromenteringthesensorandcausingfalsealarms.
Replacethefrontsensorcovertosnapshutandscrewinthesensorcase
screwsonthetopandbottomofthewallanchorcase.
MountingbyAdhesiveTap
Pressthecasereleasebuttontoseparatethefrontsensorcaseandwall
anchor.
Insertthebatteryintothebatterycompartment.
Putbackthewallanchorcasewithfrontsensorcase.
Placeonesideadhesivetapeoverthewallanchorcase,thesidethatwill
facethewall.
Peelofftheothersideofadhesivetape.
Placethesensoronthewall.
6. Operation
TheCO2sensorrequires45secondstowarmupforsignalstabilizingwhen
performingstartuporreset.Duringthewarmupperiod,theLEDwillblinkslowly
inamber.Duringnormaloperation,theLEDwillblinkevery5minutesingreen
colortoindicatethesensorisworkingproperly.However,therearenoLED
indicationswhenmotionisdetected.Thisisdonetomaximizebatterylife.
Furthermore,whenmotionisdetectedandasignalistransmittedtothepanel,
thesensorwillnottransmitagainforaperiodofthreeminutes.

7. Maintenance‐ReplacingtheBattery
Whenthebatteryislow,asignalwillbesenttothecontrolpanel.TheLEDwill
blinkevery2minutesinred.
Toinsertorreplacethebattery:
Removethesensorfromthewallanchorbyusingabottom‐to‐toplifting
motion.
RemovetheAAAlkalineBatteryandinstallnewAAbattery
Alwaysmatchtheplus(+)signonthebatterywiththeflatsideofthe
compartmentandtheminus(‐)signonthebatterywiththespringside.
Reinstallsensorbacktothewallanchorcase.
WARNING:Failuretofollowthesewarningsandinstructionscanleadtoheat
generation,rupture,leakage,explosion,fire,orotherinjury,ordamage.Donot
insertthebatteryintothecompartmentinthewrongdirection.Alwaysreplace
thebatterywiththesameorequivalenttype(seeSpecificationsonpage1).
Neverrechargeordisassemblethebattery.Neverplacethebatteryinfireor
water.Alwayskeepbatteriesawayfromsmallchildren.Ifbatteriesare
swallowed,promptlyseeadoctor.
Alwaysdisposeand/orrecycleusedbatteriesinaccordancewiththehazardous
wasterecoveryandrecyclingregulationsforyourlocation.Yourcity,state,or
countrymayalsorequireyoutocomplywithadditionalhandling,recycling,and
disposalrequirements.
8. EnvironmentalandOtherUsefulInformation
PleaseinstallCO2Sensorwithgoodairflowformoreaccuratesensingresult.
CO2Sensorisalsosensitivetoheatandvibration,pleaseavoidplacingthe
sensorclosetoexternalheatsourceordirectlyfromsunlight,aswellasfrom
vibratingdevicesuchasdevicewithmotor.
Avoidcontactwithwaterorotherfluids(watermaydamagethesensor,
thereforeminimizeexposurewhilewashing,orusingwaterforanypurpose.
CO2Sensorshouldnotbeusedinexcessivedustyordirtyareas.Thismay
damagetheCO2sensingability.
Donotthrow,knockorshakethedevice.Pleasehandledevicedelicatelyto
avoiddamagetosensor.
FCCComplianceStatement
Thisdevicecomplieswithpart15oftheFCCRules.Operationissubjecttothe
followingtwoconditions:(1)Thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterference,
and(2)thisdevicemustacceptanyinterferencereceived,includinginterference
