Zu dieser Anleitung
Zielgruppe
Die Installation des Produkts und nachfolgende Wartungsarbeiten müssen durch
eine Fachkraft im Bereich Elektrotechnik nach DIN EN 62368-1 ausgeführt
werden.
Fachkraft
Eine Fachkraft kennt die Technik der Einrichtung und kann die verwendeten
Energiearten und deren Größen beurteilen. Sie hat das Fachwissen um gefährliche
Energiequellen zu erkennen und geeignete Maßnahmen zur Gefahrenabwehr zu
ergreifen. Eine Fachkraft schützt sich und andere vor unbeabsichtigter Berührung
oder Einwirken gefährlicher Energiequellen.

Hinweise
Warnung!
Gefahr durch Veränderung am Produkt: Die Sicherheitsmerkmale dieses Pro-
dukts sind eine wesentliche Voraussetzung für dessen Übereinstimmung mit DIN
EN 62368-1. Es dürfen keinerlei Veränderungen vorgenommen werden, die nicht
in dieser Anleitung beschrieben sind.
Gefahr durch Bruch am Produkt: Nach einem harten Schlag oder Vibrationen
kann das Produkt beschädigt sein, ohne dass dies äußerlich sichtbar ist. Das
Produkt darf nach einem harten Schlag, nach Herunterfallen oder nach dem es
Vibrationen ausgesetzt war nicht mehr montiert und benutzt werden.
Gefahr durch fehlerhafte Inbetriebnahme: Um die Produktsicherheit zu ge-
währleisten muss die Inbetriebnahme durch eine Fachkraft („Fachkraft“, Seite 4)
durchgeführt werden.
Gefahr durch fehlerhafte Wartung: Die Verantwortung für eine korrekte Instal-
lation und Funktionskontrolle des Produkts und angeschlossener Komponenten
liegt beim Gebäudebetreiber. Die Wartung muss durch eine Fachkraft durchge-
führt werden. Bauaufsichtliche Anforderungen müssen eingehalten werden.
Gefahr durch Manipulation oder unsachgemäße Reparatur: Funktioniert das
Produkt nicht ordnungsgemäß oder liegt eine Beschädigung vor, so darf das Pro-
dukt ausschließlich durch den Hersteller repariert werden. Das Produkt darf nicht
geöffnet werden. Wenden Sie sich an den Kundendienst des Installateurs oder an
den Support der ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH („Gewährleistung“, Seite 10).

Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Netzteil 1003 zur Hutschienenmontage wandelt eine Wechselspannung in
eine niedrigere Gleichspannung und ist für die Spannungsversorgung von
Kleinspannungsgeräten geeignet.
Das Produkt ist entsprechend der DIN EN 62368-1 geprüft und erfüllt die
Anforderungen. Abweichende Anwendungen sind unzulässig.
Die Produktvariante sind für unterschiedliche Spannungsbereiche an Ein- und
Ausgängen ausgelegt. Die für die jeweilige Produktvariante angegebenen
technischen Spezifikationen, Installations- und Nutzungsbeschreibungen müssen
eingehalten werden („Technische Daten“, Seite8).
Bei Nichtbeachtung der technischen Spezifikationen, einer vorschriftswidrigen
Installation oder Nutzung sind Tod oder Verletzung von Personen möglich, es
können Brände entstehen, das Produkt oder angeschlossene Geräte können
zerstört werden.
Das Produkt ist für die Installation in trockenen und sauberen Innenräumen
geeignet.
Es dürfen keine Metallteile in das Innere gelangen.
Das Produkt muss ausreichend belüftet werden und darf nicht in geschlossenen
Gehäusen ohne geeignete Wärmeabfuhr montiert werden.
Die Montage muss fachgerecht in einen geeigneten Elektroverteilerkasten
erfolgen. Das Produkt muss senkrecht angebracht werden, so dass der Klemmrie-
gel auf der DIN-Schiene nach unten gerichtet ist.
Nach der Installation und Montage muss die ausführende Fachkraft dem
Betreiber erklären, wie das Produkt gefahrlos abgeschaltet und von der Span-
nungsversorgung getrennt werden kann.
Das Produkt ist für die Installation und Nutzung entsprechend dieser Anleitung
geeignet. Jede darüber hinausgehende Verwendung gilt als nicht
bestimmungsgemäß.

Für den Anschluss müssen geeignete, zugelassene Netzanschlusskabel verwendet
werden („Technische Daten“, Seite8).

Ausgangsspannung einstellen
Je nach Produktvariante kann die Ausgangsspannung exakt eingestellt werden.
1 Installieren Sie das Netzteil vollständig.
2 Messen Sie die Ausgangsspannung über der angeschlossenen Last.
3 Stellen Sie mit einem Schraubendreher die Ausgangsspannung ein (Abb. 1).
· LED leuchtet: Ausgangsspannung ist vorhanden.
· LED blinkt: Der Ausgang ist überlastet oder es liegt ein Kurzschluss vor.

About this manual
Target group
The installation of the product and subsequent maintenance work must be
carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with DIN EN 62368-1.
Specialist
A specialist is familiar with the equipment technology and can assess the energy
types used and their sizes. Specialists have the expert knowledge to recognise
hazardous energy sources and to take suitable measures to prevent hazards. A
specialist protects himself and others from unintentional contact or exposure to
hazardous energy sources.

Warning!
Danger arising from modification of the product: The safety features of this
product are an essential requirement for its conformity with DIN EN 62368-1.
Changes other than those described in this manual may not be undertaken.
Risk of breakage on the product: After a hard impact or vibration, the product
may be damaged without it being externally visible. The product may no longer
be installed and used after a hard impact, after it has been dropped or after it has
been subjected to vibrations.
Danger due to faulty commissioning:To ensure the safety of the product, com-
missioning must be carried out by a qualified specialist (“Specialist”, page 14).
Danger due to faulty maintenance: The building operator is responsible for
correct installation and functional inspection of the product and connected com-
ponents. Maintenance must be carried out by a qualified specialist. Requirements
established by inspection authorities must be complied with.
Danger arising from tampering or improperly performed repairs: If the prod-
uct does not function properly or in the event of damage, the product may only
be repaired by the manufacturer. The product must not be opened. Please con-
tact the customer service of the installation company or the support department
of ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH (“Warranty”, page 20).

Intended use
The 1003 mains receiver for installation on a top hat rail converts an AC voltage
into a lower DC voltage and is suitable for the power supply for low-voltage
devices.
The product is tested in accordance with DIN EN 62368-1 and meets the
requirements. Other applications are not permitted.
The product variant is designed for different voltage ranges on inputs and
outputs. The technical specifications, installation and usage descriptions specified
for the relevant product variant must be observed (“Technical data”, page18).
Failure to comply with the technical specifications, improper installation or use
may result in death or injury, may cause fires and may destroy the product or
connected devices.
The product is suitable for installation in dry and clean interiors.
Do not allow any metal parts to get inside.
The product must be sufficiently ventilated and must not be mounted in closed
enclosures without suitable heat dissipation.
Installation must be carried out correctly in a suitable electrical distribution box.
The product must be mounted vertically so that the clamping bolt on the DIN rail
is pointing downwards.
After installation and assembly, the person carrying out the work must explain to
the operator how the product can be safely switched off and disconnected from
the power supply.
The product is suitable for installation and use in accordance with these instruc-
tions. It is not intended for any other type of use.

Setting the output voltage
Depending on the product variant, the output voltage can be set precisely.
4 Install the mains receiver completely.
5 Measure the output voltage above the connected load.
6 Use a screwdriver to set the output voltage (Fig. 1).
· LED is lit: Output voltage is present.
· LED flashing: The output is overloaded or there is a short circuit.
