BUTTON DESCRIPTIONS
CODE SEARCH:Used to program the remote orto search
throughcodes.
SIGNAL INDICATORLIGHT(LED): The IndicatorLightflashes
to show that the remote is workingproperly.
ON/OFF BUTTON: Operates the same as youroriginalremote
Note: SomeRCA, GEand ProScanmodelsrequire youto press
the devicebutton to turn the device onandthe ON/OFF button to
turn the deviceoff.
SLEEP:Allows youtoseta time foryouto turn off yourdevice
automatically.
GUIDE: Brings upthe on-screen TV program guide if yourdevice
has that feature.
MENU: Brings upthe Main Menu. Ifyouare already inthe
menusystem,press SELECT to select a highlightedchoice. Use
the arrowbuttons to movethrough the Menu Selections.
GO BACK:Allows youtogotothe previouschannel you
selected.Operates the same as LastChannel,PreviousChannel,
or Recall button on your original remote.
MUTE: Mutes volume ontheTV.
CABLE, TV, VCR,DVD,SAT:Used to select the device you want to control.
0-9: The number buttons operate the same ason youroriginalremote, andare used for
enteringdevicecodes.
ENTER:Used to completechannelselection for somebrands ofTV.Itis alsoused to complete
the codeentryprocess.
TV/VCR: Operates the TV/VCR function of your VCR.
NAVIGATIONBUTTONS & OK: Used to movethrough on screenmenu and guides. With
some DBS models the INFO button should be used to select the highlighted item. Usethe
navigationbuttons up, down, left, or right to makeselection.
VOL& CH:TheVOL (Volume) andCH (Channel)buttonsincrease or decrease the volume or
channel numbers.
REVERSE, PLAY,FORWARD,REC,STOP,PAUSE:Thesebuttons arefor DVD/VCR/DVR
use, and operate the same ason youroriginal VCRor remote. You mustpress theREC button
twice to beginrecording.
INPUT: Selects the videoinputs of your TVif equipped with thisfeature.
INFO:Shows the date andthe time if your TVor VCR has that feature.Functions the same as
a Display button.
CLEAR:Removes theon screendisplay to return to normalviewing.
CODE INPUT SETTING:
You will need the list of codes to manuallyselect and input the correctcodes to your
specificdevice.
1. Turn onthe device that you want to set.
2. Look for the brand name under the specific device listing provided.
(Note: You will notice that somebrands will havemorethan one 3-digitcode.During the
code inputprocess, youmay have totry morethan one 3-digitcode that will matchyour
devicebrand and model.)
3. Aimthe remotecontrol atthe device and press down and hold CODE SEARCH button for
at least 3 seconds until theredLED lights up solidred.
4. Press the device button forthe item you wish to program,e.g. TV, DVD,VCR,etc. andthe
LED light will blinkonce and then remainsolidred.
5. Using the numberkeys,enter the1 stsetof 3-digit codesfrom the list. You will notice
that eachnumber that you press, theLED will blinkonce.After you haveentered the
3rd digit, thered LED will turn off indicating that the code was recognized forthe device.
(NOTE: Ifthe codeentered wasnot compatible, theredLED will flashseveraltimes.
You will thenneed to repeatStep 3.You have 30 seconds to enter a code.)
6. After theredLED light has turned off.Press the ON/OFFkey. Ifthe device youare trying
to programpowersoff,then you havefound the correctcode. Ifthe devicedoes not
poweroff,then you will need to repeat the process againfromStep 3, usinganother
3-digitcode.
7. Make a note ofthe 3-digitcode for futureuse.
CODE SEARCH SETTING:
This isan alternativemethod to programmingyourdevice without using the code list. The
remote control will scrollthrough the list of codes to identify the correctcode for your
device.
1. Turn onthe device that you want to set.
2. Aimthe remote control atthe device and press and hold down the CODE SEARCH button
forat least 3 seconds until theredLED lights up solidred.
3. Press the device button forthe item you wish to program,e.g. TV, DVD,VCR,etc. andthe
LED light will blinkonce and thenremainsolidred.
4. PressON/OFFbutton on remoteslowly and repeatedlyuntil the device youare trying to
programshutsoff.(Note LED will blinkonceeach time you pressON/OFFbutton)
5. Once this occurs,press ENTER button to store the code andtheLED light will turn off.

SLEEP SETTING:
This feature will automatically turn off your TV after theset specified time.
1. Press and hold SLEEP button for3 seconds until theLED lightturns to solid on.
2. Enter using the number keys a 2-digit time in minutes in range of01- 99. Once you
have entered the2 digit time, theLED will turn offandthe timer will begin.
3. Make sure the remote control is pointed inthe direction ofthe device.
4.To cancel this function:
a) either press ON/OFF button once or
b) press and hold SLEEP button forat least 3 seconds until LED flashes once.
CODE RETRIEVAL:
This feature can help youto find out what the3 digit code that is currently stored in your
"Innovage Jumbo Universal Remote" fora specific device without having to reference the
code list manual.
1. Press and hold down the CODE SEARCH button •for at least 3 seconds until theredLED
lights up solid red.
2. Press the device button , e.g. TV, DVD, VCR, etc. andtheLED light will blink once and
then remain solid red.
3. Press each ofthe number buttons 0-9 until theLED blinks once. This will signify the
1st number inthe 3-digit code forthe device that is programmed in your remote control.
4. Repeat same process to find the2ndand3rd digit forthe 3-digit code.
5. Once you have found the3rd digit theLED will turn off.
