Safety information
• Before setting up the monitor, carefully read all the documentation that came
with the package.
• To prevent re or shock hazard, never expose the monitor to rain or moisture.
• Never try to open the monitor cabinet. The dangerous high voltages inside the
monitor may result in serious physical injury.
• If the power supply is broken, do not try to x it by yourself. Contact a qualied
service technician or your retailer.
• Before using the product, make sure all cables are correctly connected and the
power cables are not damaged. If you detect any damage, contact your dealer
immediately.
• Slots and openings on the back or top of the cabinet are provided for
ventilation. Do not block these slots. Never place this product near or over a
radiator or heat source unless proper ventilation is provided.
• The monitor should be operated only from the type of power source indicated
on the label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home,
consult your dealer or local power company.
• Use the appropriate power plug which complies with your local power standard.
• Do not overload power strips and extension cords. Overloading can result in
re or electric shock.
• Avoid dust, humidity, and temperature extremes. Do not place the monitor in
any area where it may become wet. Place the monitor on a stable surface.
• Unplug the unit during a lightning storm or if it will not be used for a long period
of time. This will protect the monitor from damage due to power surges.
• Never push objects or spill liquid of any kind into the slots on the monitor
cabinet.
• To ensure satisfactory operation, use the monitor only with UL listed
computers which have appropriate configured receptacles marked between
100-240V AC.
• If you encounter technical problems with the monitor, contact a qualified
service technician or your retailer.
• Adjustment of the volume control as well as the equalizer to other settings
than the center position may increase the ear-/headphones output voltage and
therefore the sound pressure level.
• Ensure to connect the power cord to a socket-outlet with earthing connection.
• The supplied power adapter and/or power cable are designed to use with the
product only. Do not use with other products.

Care & Cleaning
• Before you lift or reposition your monitor, it is better to disconnect the cables
and power cord. Follow the correct lifting techniques when positioning the
monitor. When lifting or carrying the monitor, grasp the edges of the monitor.
Do not lift the display by the stand or the cord.
• Cleaning. Turn your monitor off and unplug the power cord. Clean the monitor
surface with a lint-free, non-abrasive cloth. Stubborn stains may be removed
with a cloth dampened with mild cleaner.
• Avoid using a cleaner containing alcohol or acetone. Use a cleaner intended
for use with the monitor. Never spray cleaner directly on the screen, as it may
drip inside the monitor and cause an electric shock.
The following symptoms are normal with the monitor:
• You may find slightly uneven brightness on the screen depending on the
desktop pattern you use.
• When the same image is displayed for hours, an afterimage of the previous
screen may remain after switching the image. The screen will recover slowly or
you can turn off the Power Switch for hours.
• When the screen becomes black or ashes, or cannot work anymore, contact
your dealer or service center to x it. Do not repair the screen by yourself!

1.3.1 Front view

1. Power button/power indicator
• Turns the monitor on.
• Turns the monitor off by pressing the button for over 0.6 seconds.
• The color denition of the power indicator is as the below table.

2. Shortcut
• Default: ProArt Preset hotkey
• To change the hotkey function, go to the Shortcut > Shortcut 2 menu.
3. Shortcut
• Default: HDR hotkey
• To change the hotkey function, go to the Shortcut > Shortcut 1 menu.
4. Self Calibration
• This is a hotkey to open the Calibration menu.
5. Input select button:

• Selects an available input source.
Press button (Input Select button) to display HDMI-1, HDMI-2,
DisplayPort, USB Type-C, SDI-12G signals after you connect HDMI/
DisplayPort/USB Type-C/SDI cable with the monitor.
6. Close button:
• Exits the OSD menu.
7. Menu (5-way) button:
• Press this button to enter the OSD menu.
• Enacts the selected OSD menu items.
• Increases/Decreases values or moves your selection up/down/left/
right.
• Toggles the Key Lock function between on and off by pressing the down
button for more than 5 seconds.
8. Color sensor:
• The color sensor is embedded on the bottom left of the monitor for color
calibration.
• To activate this function, please refer to “1.3.5 Color Calibration”.
9. Ambient effect sensor:
• Congures the ambient effect settings.
This function will be disabled if the HDR function is enabled and the ProArt
Preset setting is set to HDR_PQ DCI, HDR_PQ Rec2020, HDR_HLG
Rec2100, or HDR_HLG DCI.

1. Kensington lock slot.
2. Power switch. Press the switch to turn on/off power.
3. AC-IN port. This port connects the power cord.

4. Earphone jack.
5. SDI. This port is for real-time on-set previews and playback.
6. HDMI-1 port. This port is for connection with an HDMI compatible
device.
7. HDMI-2 port. This port is for connection with an HDMI compatible
device.
8. DisplayPort in. This port is for connection with a DisplayPort compatible
device.
The default setting of DisplayPort Stream in the OSD menu is DisplayPort
1.4..
9. USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C (supports DP Alt mode). This port is for connection
with a DisplayPort/USB Type-C compatible device. This port is also for
connection with a USB Type-C cable, which supports USB power and data
delivery.
This monitor is Super-Speed USB 3.2 Gen 1 compatible (5Gbps). The port
offer 80W power delivery with output voltage of 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A 15V/3A,
20V/4A.
10. USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A: This port is for connection with USB devices, such as
USB keyboard/mouse, USB ash drive, etc.
11. USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A: This port is for connection with USB devices, such as
USB keyboard/mouse, USB ash drive, etc.
Port with icon is BC1.2 compliant (5V/1.5A).
1.3.3 QuickFit Plus Function
The QuickFit Plus function contains 4 types of patterns: (1) Safe Area (2) Center
Marker (3) Customization (4) Ruler. To activate the patterns, open the OSD
menu and select QuickFit Plus. Use the Menu (5-way) button to select a
desired pattern. You can move the button up/down/left/right to change the pattern’s
position if needed.
Note that only Customization pattern can be adjusted its frame size according to
your need, but may have limited range for moving left/right/up/down.
1. Safe Area
Facilitates designers and users to organize content and layout on one page and
achieve a consistent look and feel. The selections are:

2. Center Marker
Selects the center marker type. The selections are:

3. Customization
You can decide the frame size by moving the Menu (5-way) button up/down/
left/right. You can press the Menu (5-way) button for longer than 3 seconds to
switch the measurements between millimeter and inch.

4. Ruler
This pattern presents physical ruler on top and left side. You can press the
Menu (5-way) button for longer than 3 seconds to switch the measurements
between metric and imperial.

1.3.4 Other Function(s)
1. HDR
The monitor supports HDR format. When detecting HDR content, an "HDR ON"
message will pop up and display in the Information page.
HDR content is not supported when PIP/PBP mode is on.
1.3.5 Color Calibration
You can use the ProArt Calibration Software with the color sensor that is
embedded on the bottom left of the monitor for color calibration. Ensure that the
protective lm on the color sensor has been removed before using the color sensor
for calibration.
1. Open the ProArt Calibration Software to activate the color sensor to perform
the color calibration. The color sensor starts moving from its original position
towards the screen.

2. When the color sensor reaches the edge of the screen, it will stop and start
the calibration process. The calibration time depends on the amount of preset
modes you select, the longest time might be 30 minutes.

3. After the calibration process is completed, the color sensor will automatically
return to its original position.
• When the device is turned on, the color sensor will return to its original
position and produce a sound while the motor is running during the
initialization process. This is a normal.
• When the hood is installed, the color sensor can also be used.
• Avoid pulling the color sensor to prevent damage.
• To ensure ProArt Calibration Software to perform the calibration smoothly,
do not touch the color sensor with your hands and there are no interfering
objects during the process.

2.1 Attaching the arm/base
To assemble the monitor base:
1. Have the front of the monitor face down on a table.
2. Attach the arm into the monitor. Attach the base into the arm, making sure
the tab on the arm ts into the groove on the base (Figure 1).
3. Fix the base to the arm by fastening the bundled screw (Figure 2).

We recommend that you cover the table surface with soft cloth to prevent
damage to the monitor.
Base screw size: M6 x 15 mm.

2.2 Detaching the arm/base (for VESA
wall mount)
The detachable arm/base of this monitor is specially designed for VESA wall
mount.
To detach the arm/base:
1. Have the front of the monitor face down on a table.
2. Press the release button, and then detach the arm/base from the
monitor.

We recommend that you cover the table surface with soft cloth to prevent
damage to the monitor.
• The VESA wall mount kit (100 x 100 mm) is purchased separately.
• Use only the UL Listed Wall Mount Bracket with minimum weight/load
22.7kg (Screw size: M4 x 10 mm).

2.3 Adjusting the monitor
• For optimal viewing, we recommend that you look at the full face of the
monitor, then adjust the monitor to the angle that is most comfortable for you.
• Hold the stand to prevent the monitor from falling when you change its angle.
• You can adjust the monitor’s angle from +21˚ to -3˚, and it allows 30˚ swivel
adjustment from either left or right. You can also adjust the monitor’s height
within 130 mm.

Pivoting the monitor
1. Lift the monitor to the highest position.
2. Tilt the monitor to its maximum angle.
3. Pivot the monitor to the angle you need.

It is normal that the monitor slightly shakes while you adjust the viewing angle.
4. The OSD menu item will automatically rotate when the monitor rotates.
