Step 1 - Attach Power Cord, ethernet cable to Router

1. Determine suitable location within a few feet of your broadband residential
Internet gateway (modem/router)
2. Plug in one side of yellow ethernet cable*
3. Attach power cable and leave Power button off
4. If LTE is included, refer to step 3

Step 2 –Connect the Teleworker equipment to your
broadband residential Internet gateway.
Connect the provided ethernet cable used in Step 1 to an available
ethernet LAN port on your broadband residential gateway.

Note: The broadband residential gateway pictured above may vary with your broadband service.
Residential gateway devices often have up to 4 ethernet ports.

Step 3 –Connect LTE Antenna (optional)
This step is only applicable if LTE option was purchased.

1. Unscrew the two grey caps labeled A and B on the
picture below
2. Screw on one antenna to connector A and one
antenna to connector B. Note: There is a pivot
joint on each antenna that can be pivoted upward.

What’s next

Service Activation
Once you have completed the self-installation of your Teleworker
equipment, please contact AT&T at 866-204-0852 PIN 10002 to activate
your service. Hours of operation are 8am-5pm Eastern Standard Time
Monday-Friday. Please note that if you cannot schedule a time within 10
days of receiving your equipment, your service will start billing on day
11.
After the service activation call has completed, proceed to the next step
of setting up Wi-Fi on your device.
Note: Should equipment issues arise where your equipment is not functioning, AT&T may need to replace
your equipment. AT&T will advise during the Service Activation if this needs to take place and replacement
equipment will be ordered.

Setting up Wi-Fi on Telecommuter Equipment
When the Wi-Fi LED on the Access
Point blinks green, connect a Wi-Fi
enabled device (laptop, desktop or
tablet) to the CiscoAirProvision Wi-Fi
Name (SSID) from your list of
available Wi-Fi networks on your
device.
Note: The default Wi-Fi password is:
password (all lower case)
and will only be used for initial setup.

Wi-Fi Light will blink Green
Note: Page 14 has a listing of settings you
create on the following pages that you can
write down to refer back to later.

Setting up Teleworker Wi-Fi
•Open a web browser on your
device and type:
http://mobilityexpress.cisco
This will start the configuration
wizard and the admin account page
will appear.
•Create an admin account to login
to the Wi-Fi device by creating a
username and password then
click on the Start button.
Note: “myname” and other entries on the following
pages including “System Name” and “Network
Name” are illustrative and your selections should be
different.

The password must contain characters from at least three
of the following classes –lowercase letters, uppercase
letters, digits, special characters. Max length is 24.

Setup your Controller
In the Set up Your Controller section,
configure the following:
•System Name –Enter a system
name to identify your device
•Enter Country/Date & Time /
Timezone if not already populated
•NTP Server –Leave blank
•Enable IP Management and Mesh
- Leave unselected
•Enable DHCP Server –Leave
unselected
•Click Next

Create Wireless Network
In the Create Your Wireless Network,
under Employee Network, configure
the following:
•Network Name –Enter a Wi-Fi
Name (SSID) you wish to use. This
name will show up on your
device(s) as your Teleworker Wi-Fi
network to connect to.
•Security –Leave at WPA2 Personal
if your company does not suggest
other.
•Passphrase –Enter a Wi-Fi
Password
•Confirm Passphrase –Type Wi-Fi
Password again
•Click Next

Advanced Settings
In the Advanced Settings, enable RF
Parameter Optimization and
configure the following:
•Select RF Parameter Optimization
by clicking the slider which will
turn green
•Client Density - Leave as Typical
•Traffic Type –Leave as Data
•Click Next

Confirmation of Settings
Confirm the settings you just created
on the page:
•Click Back if a change is needed
•Click Apply to save changes

Rebooting, Connecting and Testing
•Click OK and your system will
reboot which will take
approximately 8 minutes.
Once rebooting has completed, the
Wi-Fi Name you just created will
appear on your devices list of
available Wi-Fi networks. Select the
new Wi-Fi Name on your device and
enter the Wi-Fi password you created
on the prior screen.
•You should now be connected to
your new Teleworker Wi-Fi
Network.
•Test your connection

For support after service activation, please contact your corporate helpdesk first for assistance
in helping to determine the nature of the issue and next steps. Your corporate helpdesk will
open support requests with AT&T on your behalf if necessary.
