When installing the gearbox always make sure that:
- The specicaons stamped on the rang plate
match those indicated for the unit acutally ordered
- The mang surfaces and the shas are thoroughly
clean and free of dents.
- The surfaces where the gearbox are to be
mounted on are at and strong enough.
- The machine drive sha and the gearbox sha are
perfectly aligned.
- The required torque limiters have been installed if
the machine is likely to produce shocks or
blockages during operaons.
- Adequate waterproof covering has been provided
if the machine is to be installed outside.
- The working enviroment is not exposed to
corrosive agents
- The pinions or pulleys on the gearbox
input/output shas are properly ed in order to
not produce radial and/or axial loads that exceed
the maximum allowable limits.
- All the couplings have been treated with adequate
rust preventave in order to aviod oxidaon
caused by contact.
- All the mounng screws have been securely
ghtened.
Lubricaon:
All unit types of our wormgearbox range are
supplied complete with a long life synthec
lubricant, viscosity 320 and do not required
mainteinance. Units from size 026 to 110 can be
installed in any mounng posion.
Beim Einbau des Getriebes beachten Sie :
- Die Ausführung auf dem Typenschild muss
denen Ihrer Bestellung entsprechen.
- Flansche wie Wellen müssen sauber sein.
- Oberächen an die das Getriebe monert
werden soll müssen sauber und stabil genug
sein.
- Die Getriebewelle und die Maschinenwelle
müssen im richgen Toleranzbereich liegen.
- benögte Rutschkupplungen müssen angebracht
werden um Überlasten zwischen Getriebe und
Maschine zu vermeiden.
- Schutzvorrichtungen für Montage im Freien
müssen vorhanden sein.
- Der Getriebemotor an sich ist nicht vor
korrosiven Umgebungen geschützt.
- Wellen oder Kupplungen am Getriebeeingang
oder -ausgang müssen korrekt angebracht
werden, ohne das radiale oder axiale Lasten auf
diese Wellen wirken können.
- Alle Arten von Kupplungen müssen mit Pasten
behandelt werden um Rosraß vorzubeugen.
- Alle Montageschrauben müssen ordentlich
angezogen werden.
Schmierung:
Alle Getriebe unserer Reihe sind mit ‚longlife‘
synteschem Öl gefüllt. Viskosität 320 und
müssen nicht gewartet werden. Die Größen
USGT26 bis USGT110 können in jeder
angegebenen Einbaulage monert werden.

Mounng the motor on the IEC B5/B14 ange:
Check that the tolerance of the motor sha and the
motor ange comply with at least one „normal“
class of quality. Carefully clean o any trace of dirt
or paint from the sha, the cetering diameter and
the face of the ange. Do not force the elctric motor
sha into gearbox motor sleeve. If this is not
possible , stop assembly. Apply anoxdave
protecon to the sha in order to prevent freeng
corrosion. Good qualy motors should be used in
order to ensute that the unit works corrcetly,
without vibraons or noise. Befor mounng the unit
on the machine, check that the main sha of the
reducon unit rotates in the right direcon.
Servicing:
The high qualy nish of the internal parts ensure
that the unit will work correctly with only a
minimum amount of servicing. Generally speaking,
the following rules should be followed: periodically
check that the exterior of the assembly is clean,
especially in the cooling areas; periodically check
to see if there are any leaks, especially in the areas
around the sealing. Units that are lubricated for life
and thus do not have ay oil plugs do not require any
special maintenance expect as stated above.
Troubleshoong:
If any problems should arise when starng the unit
or during its rst few hours of operaon, contact the
aer sales service dept. of ATM. The table shows
a series of problems with a descripon of possible
soluons.
It should be kept in mind however that the infor-
maon given is for reference only, as all the drives
manufactured by ATM are thoroughly tested and
checked before they leave the factory.
Please note that tampering with the assembly
without prioir authorizaon from ATM immediately
invalidates the warranty and oen makes it
impossible to ascertain the causes of a defect or
malfuncon.

Kontrolle der Toleranzen, der Flansch- und
Wellenmaße des Motors und des Getriebes.
Alle Verunreinigungen von Flansch und Welle
enernen. Vermeidung jeglicher Kra beim
Zusammensetzen der einzelnen Module.
Wenn dies nicht möglich, Montage stoppen.
Verwenden Sie ankorrosive Pasten um
Rosraß zu vermeiden. Nur hochqualitave
Motoren gewährleisten einen reibungslosen
Betrieb. Beim Anschließen der Einheit achten
Sie auf die richge Drehrichtung der
Getriebeabtriebswelle.
Ausführung:
Die hohe Fergungsqualität der Teile garaneren
korrekte Funkon der Einheit ohne
Serviceaufwand. Im Allgemeinen sollten von Zeit
zu Zeit opsche Kontrollen durchgeführt werden:
- Schmutzbelastung der Einheit
- Tri Öl aus?
- Ist ein Ölverlust erkennbar?
Problembehebung:
Wenn, während der Inbetriebnahme Probleme
aureten wenden Sie sich an die Technik von
ATM-ulmadrive GmbH.

Diese Tabelle zeigt lediglich bekannte
Problemlösungen und erhebt keinen Anspruch auf
Vollständigkeit. Bie beachten Sie, dass eine
eigene Kennzeichnung der Antriebe ohne
Erlaubnis von ATM eine soforge Auebung der
Garane zur Folge hat.
