12 Volt Luftkompressor
Bedienungshinweise
Beachten Sie stets die folgenden
Bedienungshinweise und heben Sie
diese Bedienungsanleitung für den
späteren Gebrauch auf.
Aufpumpen von Reifen:
1 . Das Anschlußstück auf den Ventilschaft
stecken und so weit wie möglich he-
runterdrücken. Anschlußstück durch
Umlegen des Hebels verschließen.
2. Den Stecker des Stromkabels in die
Öffnung für den Zigarettenanzünder
stecken. Achten Sie darauf, dass das
Gerät hierbei nicht eingeschaltet ist.
Danach Luftkompressor einschalten
3. Druck am Manometer kontrollieren.
Nach Erreichen des gewünschten
Drucks schalten Sie den Luftkom-
pressor aus. Verschlußhebel öffnen,
Anschlußstück vom Ventil lösen und
Stecker herausziehen.
4. ACHTUNG: Bei Aufbewahrung des
Luftkompressors Verschlußhebel stets
offen lassen.
Aufpumpen von anderen Gegenstän-
den:
1. Geeigneten Adapter in das Anschluß-
stück einführen und Verschlußhebel
umlegen.
2. Bitte beachten Sie, dass kleinere Ge-
genstände wie Volley- oder Fußbälle
sich sehr rasch aufpumpen lassen.
3. Bei ausgeschaltetem Luftkompressor
Stecker des Stromkabels in die Öff-
nung für den Zigarettenanzünder
stecken und dann erst den Luftkom-
pressor einschalten.
4. Druck am Manometer kontrollieren.
5. Nach Erreichen des gewünschten
Drucks schalten Sie den Luftkom-
pressor aus. Verschlußhebel öffnen,
Stecker herausziehen, Anschlußstück
abziehen und Adapter herausnehmen.
Achtung! Höchstens 10 Minuten ohne
Unterbrechung pumpen. Zum Schutz
des Motors nach jeweils 10 Minuten
eine Pause von 8 Minuten einlegen.
Ansonsten ist bei längerem Einsatz mit
Überhitzung und bleibender Beschädi-
gung zu rechnen.
Wartung und Pflege
· Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen der
Kunststoffteile keine Lösungsmittel,
da diese in der Regel den Kunststoff
angreifen und beschädigen können.
Verwenden Sie zum Entfernen von
Schmutz, Staub, Öl, Fett usw. nur
trockene, saubere Tücher.
· Bei Entsorgung des 12 Volt Luft-
kompressors beachten Sie bitte die
gesetzlichen Vorschriften.

ACHTUNG: Um Personen- oder Sach-
schäden zu vermeiden, machen Sie sich
bitte vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme
mit den Sicherheitshinweisen und der
Bedienungsanleitung vertraut.
Änderungen in Farbe, Design und die
dem technischen Fortschritt dienen,
behalten wir uns vor.
· Zum Betrieb des Luftkompressors
kann ein Ladegerät für 12 Volt
Batterie für den Betrieb verwendet
werden, aber nur bei einem Ampere-
wert von 10 A oder höher wird eine
Beschädigung vom Kompressor oder
Ladegerät vermieden.
· Es empfiehlt sich, den Motor des KFZ
laufen zu lassen, wenn der 12 Volt
Luftkompressors über den Zigaretten-
anzünder betrieben wird. Informieren
Sie sich bitte vor einer Inbetriebnahme
mit dem Zigarettenanzünder, ob
dieser für die Stromaufnahme des
Kompressors ausgelegt ist.
Sicherheitshinweise
Achtung! Beim Gebrauch des Luftkom-
pressors AT-378 müssen zum Schutz vor
elektrischem Schlag, Brand- und Verlet-
zungsgefahr nachfolgende Sicherheits-
maßnahmen beachtet werden. Lesen
Sie diese Hinweise und die vorstehende
Bedienungsanleitung vor dem ersten
Gebrauch durch und verwahren Sie
diese Hinweise gut auf.
· Setzen Sie den Luftkompressor AT-378
niemals Regen oder Wasser aus. Be-
nutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in feuchter
oder nasser Umgebung und halten
Sie es von brennbaren Flüssigkeiten
oder Gasen fern.
· Schützen Sie sich vor elektrischem
Schlag. Vermeiden Sie jede Körper-
berührung mit geerdeten Teilen wie
z.B. Heizungsrohre oder Heizkörper,
Herde oder Kühlschränke etc.
· Lassen Sie das Gerät und das Kabel
nicht in die Hände von Kindern gelan-
gen und halten Sie andere Personen
von Ihrem jeweiligen Arbeitsbereich
fern.
· Bewahren Sie den 12 Volt Luft-
kompressor AT-378 außerhalb der
Reichweite von Kindern an einem
trockenen, hochgelegenen bzw.
abgeschlossenen Ort auf.
· Bitte setzen Sie den 12 Volt Luftkom-
pressor AT-378 nicht für Zwecke ein,
für die er nicht vorgesehen ist und
überlasten Sie das Gerät nicht.
· Tragen Sie bei der Benutzung des
Gerätes immer geeignete Arbeitsklei-
dung. Bitte verwenden Sie das 12 Volt
Kabel nur für Zwecke, für die es
bestimmt ist und tragen Sie den Luft-
kompressor niemals am Elektrokabel
oder dem Luftschlauch, oder benutzen
es, um den Stecker aus dem Zigaret-
tenanzünder zu ziehen. Schützen Sie
das Kabel und den Schlauch vor Öl,
Hitze und scharfen Kanten.
· Halten Sie bei Arbeiten mit dem Ge-
rät jederzeit das Gleichgewicht und

sorgen Sie für einen sicheren Stand.
· Halten Sie den 12 Volt Luftkompres-
sor AT-378 stets sauber und pflegen
Sie ihn mit Sorgfalt, um besser und
sicherer arbeiten zu können. Befolgen
Sie die vorliegenden Wartungsvor-
schriften und Hinweise zum Gebrauch.
Kontrollieren Sie vor jedem Gebrauch
das Anschlußkabel sowie den Luft-
anschlußschlauch und lassen Sie diese
bei Beschädigung nur von einem
anerkannten Fachmann erneuern
bzw. ersetzen.
· Prüfen Sie vor dem Einschalten des
Gerätes, dass Sie das 12 Volt Kabel
richtig angeschlossen haben und der
Druckschlauch fest auf dem Ventil
angeschlossen ist.
· Überprüfen Sie den Luftkompressor
und seine beweglichen Teile immer
auf eventuelle Beschädigungen und
einwandfreie Funktion. Achten Sie
auf richtige Montage aller Teile, um
störungsfreien Betrieb des Gerätes
zu gewährleisten.
· Beschädigte Schutzvorrichtungen und
Teile müssen ausschließlich durch eine
anerkannte Elektrofachwerkstatt
bzw. den Importeur repariert oder
durch den Ersatz mit Originalersatz-
teilen instandgesetzt werden.
Achtung: Benutzen Sie nur Zubehör
oder Zusatzgeräte die im Lieferumfang
enthalten sind.

Garantiebestimmungen
Auf dieses Gerät wird eine Garantie
gemäß den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen
von 24 Monaten ab Rechnungsdatum
gewährt. Als Nachweis für den Garantie-
anspruch dient eine Kopie des Kaufbe-
leges.
Schäden, die auf natürliche Abnut-
zung, Transportschäden, Überlastung,
Nichtbeachtung der Montage- / Bedie-
nungsanleitung oder unsachgemäße
Behandlung zurückzuführen sind, blei-
ben von der Garantie ausgeschlossen,
ebenso Verschleißteile. Der Hersteller
haftet nicht für indirekte Folge- und
Vermögensschäden. Die Garantiezeit
wird durch die Instandsetzung nicht
erneuert oder verlängert.
Beanstandungen können nur dann aner-
kannt werden, wenn das Gerät unzer-
legt und frachtfrei an den Lieferanten
bzw. den unten genannten Kundenser-
vice zurückgesandt wird.

12 volt air compressor
Operating advice
Always follow this operating advice
and keep the operating instructions
safe in case you need them later.
When inflating tyres:
1. Place the connector on the shaft of
the valve and push it down as far as
possible. Lock the connector on by
folding the locking lever down.
2. Insert the plug on the end of the
power lead into the cigarette lighter
socket, making sure that the compres-
sor is not switched on when you do
this. Then switch the compressor on.
3. Check the pressure on the pressure
gauge. Switch off the air compressor
when the desired pressure is reached.
Release the locking lever, remove the
connector from the valve and pull out
the plug.
4. WARNING: When you put the air
compressor away always make sure
that the locking lever is open.
When inflating other articles:
1.
I nsert a suitable adapter into the
connector and fold the locking lever
down.
2. Please bear in mind that small objects
like volleyballs or footballs are inflated
very quickly.
3. With the air compressor switched off,
insert the plug into the cigarette
lighter socket and only then switch
the air compressor on.
4. Check the pressure on the pressure
gauge.
5. Switch off the air compressor when
the desired pressure is reached.
Release the locking lever, pull out the
plug, pull off the connector and take
out the adapter.
Caution! Do not inflate continuously
for more than 10 minutes. Switch off
and allow an 8 minute pause after each
10 minutes of operation to protect the
motor, otherwise overheating can occur
after long periods of use and this can
lead to permanent damage of the motor.
Maintenance and cleaning
· Do not use solvents to clean the plastic
components as they may attack and
damage the plastic. Only use a clean,
dry cloth to remove dirt, dust, oil,
grease etc.
· Please observe the statutory require-
ments when you dispose of your 12
volt air compressor.

WARNING: To avoid damage to prop-
erty or injury to persons, before using
the compressor for the first time please
familiarise yourself with the operating
instructions and safety advice.
We reserve the right to make colour
and design changes in the interest of
technical improvements.
· A charger unit for a 12 volt battery can
be used to operate the air compressor,
however only by providing a current
of 10 A or higher can damage to the
compressor or the charger unit be
avoided.
· It is recommended that the vehicle
engine is kept running if the 12 volt
air compressor is being operated from
the cigarette lighter socket. Before
using the cigarette lighter socket for
the first time to operate the compres-
sor please ascertain that it has been
designed to supply the required cur-
rent to the compressor.
Safety advice
Caution! To protect against electric
shock, fire and injury whilst using the
AT-378 air compressor please observe the
safety precautions given below. Read
this advice and these operating instruc-
tions before using the compressor for
the first time and retain this documen-
tation in a safe place.
· Never expose the AT-378 air compres-
sor to rain or water. Do not use the
compressor in a damp or wet environ-
ment and always keep it away from
inflammable liquids or gases.
· Reduce the risk of electric shock. Avoid
touching earthed objects with any
part of your body, e.g. heating pipes
or radiators, ovens or refrigerators etc.
· Do not let the compressor or lead get
into the hands of children. Prevent
other people from interfering with
the air compressor.
· Store the AT-378 12 volt air compressor
in dry conditions, somewhere high or
with doors, and out of reach of
children.
· Do not use the AT-378 12 volt air com-
pressor for any purpose for which it
was not intended. Do not overload
the compressor.
· Wear suitable working clothes when
using the compressor. Use the 12 volt
lead only for the purpose for which
it is intended. Never use the lead or
the air hose to carry the air compres-
sor. Never remove the plug from the
cigarette lighter socket by pulling on
the lead. Protect the lead and the air
hose from oil, heat and sharp edges.
· Keep proper footing and balance
when using the compressor.
· Keep the AT-378 12 volt air compres-
sor clean at all times and take proper
care of it. This way it will operate more
safely and perform better. Follow the
maintenance instructions and the
advice on use given in this document.
Before each use of the compressor,
check the lead and the air hose for
damage and if necessary have them
repaired or replaced by an approved

specialist.
· Before switching on the compressor,
check that the 12 volt lead is properly
connected and the air hose is firmly
attached to the valve.
· Always check the air compressor and
its moving parts for any damage and
for proper functioning. See that all
parts are properly attached to ensure
trouble-free operation of the com-
pressor.
· Damaged safety devices and parts
must be repaired at a recognised
electrical appliance repair centre or
by the importer, or replaced using
original replacement parts.
Attention: Only officially supplied ac-
cessories or additional equipment are
to be used with the compressor.

Guarantee conditions
In accordance with statutory provisions,
this product has a 24 month guarantee
period starting from the date of
purchase. A copy of the sales receipt is
adequate proof in the event of a claim
under the guarantee.
Damage attributable to normal wear
and tear, transport, overloading, non-
observance of the assembly/operating
instructions, or improper handling is not
covered by the guarantee. The same
applies to wear parts. The manufacturer
is not liable for indirect consequences
and damage to property. The guarantee
period is not renewed or extended by
repair work.
Claims under the guarantee will only
be recognised as valid if the product is
returned in a complete condition and
carriage paid to the supplier or the
service centre given below.
