1. Important Safety Instructions
Please read all documents carefully before operating the product.
Please follow the instructions in this manual.
Please keep this manual properly.
Please disconnect the power before connecting this product.
Please use a power outlet that meets the power requirements.
Please use the specified amplifier and power supply.
Please unplug this product in case of bad weather or no use in a long time.
Please keep the vent unobstructed.
Protect this product from heat and moisture.
Please use this product indoors at room temperature only.
Do not step on or pinch the power cable, especially connections with the plug and
product.
Do not remove the protective cover, in order to prevent electric shock.
This product does not contain any user-repairable parts.
Do not operate this product if the front grille of the sounding panel is missing.
The front grille of the sounding panel should be kept free of foreign matters.
Do not spill water or other liquids on this product.
This product must be installed by professionals.
Note: This product must not be disassembled without the permission of the
manufacturer or quality inspector.

3. Product Description
The ultra-directional speaker, also known as the “audio flashlight”, is a new-
generation speaker system that is able to produce highly directional sound. Due to the
concentrated energy of the sound waves generated and sound transmission in the
designated direction, of the speaker has high intensity of sound. In addition, its sound
intensity is not obviously attenuated with the transmission distance increasing, so the
sound transmission distance can be greatly extended by the speaker. A virtual sound
source can also be formed by reflection.
Audfly speakers is able to generate highly directional and audible sound due to
its unique technology. Compared with conventional speakers, Audfly directional
speaker has a function of area-based playback. That is, the sound can be heard only in
the designated area, without inferences to other areas.
Audfly speakers transmits sound accurately at low volume. With highly
directional and audible sound, a sound source can be located. Its sound can be
transmitted linearly or reflected by object surfaces to the designated target.

5. Use
5.1 Operating Instructions forAmplifier
As shown above:
Note: Set the ON/OFF button in the OFF position before connecting the power
supply. As shown in the figure, press the button to power on or off. If the button
bounces, it means that the power supply is connected or disconnected.
Connection of the power supply: plug one end of the power adapter into theAC

socket and the other end (24V DC/3A(or 2.7A) power output plug) into the
power input port, as shown in the figure.
Connection of the audio cable: plug one end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the
audio input port of this product, and connect the other end to the mobile phone,
laptop, computer, MP3, and television.
Connection of the speaker: connect the speaker to the audio output port, as
shown in the figure.
Power-on: after the power supply is turned on, the LED power indicator will be
normally ON in green.
Note: This product will start to play audio in 5s after power-on.

5.2 Audio Playback and VolumeAdjustment
Use an audio player (e.g., mobile phone, laptop, computer, MP3, and television)
to output audio signals and set the volume. Users can also set the volume via rotating
the volume button on the amplifier.
Note: Use audio files with high sound quality to ensure comfortable
playback effects.
5.3 Audio Playback Distance
Audfly speakers has high directivity for accurate sound source positioning. In
addition, sound can be reflected by the surface of an object. For the best sound effect,
it is recommended to keep a distance of at least one meter between the listener and
speaker during the playback and volume setting.
Note: The listener must not be too close to the speaker.A distance of at least
one meter should be kept between the listener and speaker, in order to achieve
the best hearing effect.

5.4 Playback Application Solution
Audfly speakers has high directivity. Its sound beam is much narrower than that
of conventional speakers, which is an effective solution to reduce noise pollution and
protect the environment. Audfly speakers meets the following requirements:
Area-based playback and controllable sound source, without mutual interference;
Clear and comfortable sound;
Simulated auditory experience.
1. Reflected sound source
One unique feature of Audfly speakers is to form a virtual sound source by
reflecting the transmitted sound beam via the surface of an object.
Note: A main measure to suppress unnecessary reflection is to apply sound-
absorbing materials on reflective surfaces.
2. Directional playback
Audfly speakers is able to control sound within a local area, without interference
to others. The location and angle of the speaker can be adjusted based on the target
user and working environment.
Note: The customer is responsible for selecting the appropriate installation
location and installing hardware, to ensure the proper and safe installation of the
speaker. The speaker must be installed and suspended by professionals. Unstable
installation may result in serious injury and damage to the speaker.

5.5 Integration of Audfly speakers and Conventional Amplifier
System
Audfly ultra-directional speaker has an external active amplifier.
In sound amplification applications such as conferences and halls, the audio
signals from the sound console or audio processor can be connected to the power
amplifier of Audfly speakers directly or through the audio distributor.
Note: Different microphones vary in terms of the working voltage, and their
output voltages may exceed the allowable range of Audfly speaker’s amplifier.
Because of noise differences in output signals, microphones cannot be directly
connected to Audfly speaker’s amplifier.

6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Indicator Meanings and Troubleshooting
Normally ON in green: the indicator indicates whether this product is powered
on. It turns green during normal use. If this indicator is not ON, please check
whether the power adapter is connected properly.
Normally ON in red: if theindicator turns red,it means that thisproduct is faulty.
Please turn off this product immediately and restart it in 30s. If this product can
still not work properly, please conductAudfly or its local dealer.
6.2 Low Sound/No Sound
Check whether the signal source is connected and able to output the level;
Check whether the speaker is aligned with the target area;
Check whether the power cable is plugged and whether the LED of the host is
working;
Check the speaker cable for is damaged (worn, cut, etc.);
Check whether the wires and terminals are in contact with each other (which
may cause a short circuit);
Try to install the speaker atdifferent locations or angles to find the best location.

7. Warranty
7.1 Scope of Warranty
The warranty liabilities of Audfly Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. are limited to
the terms below:
Audfly Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. will provide one-year warranty services
in terms of material or quality problems of the hardware from the date of purchase.
In case of any defect, Audfly Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. will provide
warranty services depending on the actual situation:
Use new or refurbished parts and repair the product free of charge;
Replace the original product with a brand new one that has the same function.
The remaining warranty period of the original product applies to the new part
used for replacement or the repaired product. The new product or part for replacement
will be your property, while the replaced one will belong to Audfly Technology
(Suzhou) Co., Ltd.
7.2 How to Obtain Warranty Services
Please call the Customer Service Department of Audfly Technology (Suzhou)
Co., Ltd. at (0086) 0512-68071105. If the product is not purchased directly from
Audfly Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., please contact the authorized agent,
authorized dealer or authorized installation company from which you purchase this
product. If this product is returned for warranty, the customer is responsible for
secondary damage during transportation and shall make claims against the transport
company as appropriate.
Audfly Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. will send the repaired product by

reasonable means to you, and bear the freight arising therefrom. If you do not purchase
this product directly from Audfly Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., please contact the
authorized agent, authorized dealer or authorized installation company from which
you purchase this product, to understand the corresponding transportation and service
terms.
For repair, please provide the following information: customer name, company
name, address, work phone number, product model, email, purchase date, and defect
details.

7.3 Disclaimer
The warranty of Audfly Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. does not apply to the loss or
damage caused by the following factors:
Improper installation or failure to follow the installation instructions of Audfly
Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.;
Failure to follow the instructions in the product maintenance manual or on the
website of Audfly Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.;
Product use beyond the rated capacity or parameter range;
Modification, change or repair without the permission of Audfly Technology
(Suzhou) Co., Ltd. or its authorized agent, authorized dealer or authorized
installation company.
Force majeure, including but not limited to: riots, wars, acts of public enemies,
terrorist activities, floods, fires, earthquakes, vandalism and other natural
disasters.
All legal or regulatory restrictions apply to this product, except those that take
effect after product delivery.
Product abuse, misuse, improper operation or maintenance, unauthorized
modification or accident.
Inappropriate voltage.
Installation of components, replacement parts, accessories or others without
permission of Audfly Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. or its authorized agent,
authorized dealer or authorized installation company.

Audfly speakers that is not directly purchased from Audfly Technology (Suzhou)
Co., Ltd. or its authorized agent, authorized dealer, or authorized installation
company.
Failure to follow the standard operating procedures or instructions of Audfly
Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. or provide a suitable environment for use.
Please use any Audfly speakers in accordance with relevant national laws and
policies as well as the principles of safeguarding national interests and
protecting national security. Do not use Audfly speakers to release, disseminate
and store any information that does not comply with national laws and
regulations and is harmful to national security, reunification or social stability,
or any contents that violate national laws, regulations, and policies such as
insults, defamation, pornography, violence, or participate in any similar
incidents. Users shall be liable for any violations of national laws, regulations
and policies, and Audfly speakers and Audfly Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.
will not assume any responsibility. In case of losses,Audfly speakers andAudfly
Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. shall have the right to request compensation by
the user, immediately stop services, keep related records and cooperate with
judicial organs in ascertaining responsibilities.
