Central Control
Of Your Whole
House System
OPT2/4/6
The Audioplex OPT series of multi-
room speaker selectors incorporates
TM
individual Optimatch volume
controls for each room. Now you can
select which speakers throughout
your home will play (and at what
volume) from the convenience of
your stereo's location. No longer will
you have to walk around your house
adjusting listening levels or turning
rooms on or off.
The OPT series is ideal for
restaurants, bars and homes not
equipped with local, in-wall volume
controls in each room (or those with
uncontrollable teenagers)!
No additional amplifier protection is
necessary; Optimatch volume
controls inside of the OPT series
provide protection that does not
waste power. All of your stereo's
power is delivered globally to your
multi-room speaker system and
listening levels will always remain
the same even as rooms are turned
on or off.
Unlike other manufacturer's switchers,
the OPT series does not have
"protection" buttons that children or
inexperienced users could accidentally
press. Accidental deactivation of
amplifier protection can devastate your
equipment requiring expensive service
calls and repairs. The Audioplex OPT
series provides automatic protection. No
one can damage your system
accidentally.
The OPT series of speaker selectors includes the OPT-2, the OPT-4 and OPT-6,
accommodating two, four and six pairs of speakers respectively. The controls
of the OPT series allow you to play any combination of speakers
Only Audioplex OPT series selectors
deliver all of your amplifier's power
globally. That means that when the entire
system is active, the power of your
amplifier is perfectly distributed to each
speaker. Of course, the system directs
The OPT series is designed and
engineered to have a ruler-flat frequency
response and ultra-low distortion.
Audioplex delivers 20 to 20,000 Hz plus
or minus 0.5dB.
If two stereo amplifiers are connected
to an OPT selector, you select which
source plays in each room via the
OPT's unique source selection. You
can simultaneously direct the news to
some areas, while your favorite
background music plays elsewhere.
Installed next to your stereo, the OPT series
of switchers protects your amplifier
and provides you with independent volume
and on/off control for each room or area.
