1ON-OFF POWER BUTTON ( )
Pressthisbuttonto turn the unit on or off. If the ignition switch is
“on”, theunitwill also turnonautomatically whenacompact disc is
inserted, or if the BAND switch or Mode switch (MOD) is
pressed.
2AUDIO (LEVEL) CONTROL
Toincreasethe volume level, turn the knob clockwise(UP). The
volume will increase and the level will be shown on the display
panel from a minimum of 00 to a maximum of VOL 39. To
decreasethe volume level, turnthe knob counter-clockwise (DN).
The display will automatically return to the normal indication 5
secondsafter the last volumeadjustmentorwhenanotherfunction
isactivated. This control is alsoused inconjunctionwiththePush
Select Control button 3to adjust the bass, treble, balance and
fader levels as described in 4, 5, 6and 7.
3PUSHSELECTCONTROL BUTTON
Thisbutton,which is integral totheAUDIO CONTROL, is used to
selectthe audio function (volume, bass, treble, balance, or fade)
whose setting is adjusted using the AUDIO CONTROL 2.
Pressing the PUSH SELECT control button once will set the unit
for bass adjustment (BAS will appear on the display panel) and
an audible beep will occur. Pressing the button additional times
willselecttreble adjustment (TRE on thedisplay),balance (BAL),
or fader (FAD), each accompanied by a beep tone. The display
will automatically return to the normal indication 5 seconds after
thelast adjustment or when anotherfunction isactivated.
4BASS CONTROL
To adjust the bass level, first select the Bass mode by pressing
theSelectbutton3so the BAS indicationappears on the display
panel.

Within 5 seconds of choosing the Bass mode, turn the AUDIO
CONTROL2counter-clockwiseto decrease the bass response
orclockwise to increase it asdesired. The level will be shownon
the display panel from a minimum BAS -12 to a maximum of
BAS +12 (BAS 00 indicates flat response). The display will
automatically return to the normal indication 5 seconds after the
lastadjustment or when another functionis activated.
5TREBLE CONTROL
Toadjustthe treble level,first select theTreblemode by pressing
theSelectbutton 3so the TRE indicationappearson the display
panel. Within 5 seconds of choosing the Treble mode, turn the
AUDIO CONTROL 2counter-clockwise to decrease the treble
responseor clockwise to increase it as desired. The level willbe
shown on the display panel from a minimum TRE -12 to a
maximum of TRE +12 (TRE 00 indicates flat response). The
displaywillautomaticallyreturntothenormalindication 5 seconds
afterthe last adjustment or when another function is activated.
6LEFT/RIGHT BALANCE CONTROL
To adjust the left-right speaker balance, first select the Balance
mode by pressing the Select button 3so the BAL indication
appears on the display panel. Within 5 seconds of choosing the
Balancemode, turn theAUDIO CONTROL 2counter-clockwise
to adjust the stereo balance to the left channel speakers or
clockwiseto adjust it to the right channelspeakers. The balance
positionwill be shown on the display panelfrom BAL L16 (full left)
to BAL R16 (full right). When the volume level between the left
and right speakers is equal, BAL 00 will be shown on the display
panel. The display will automatically return to the normal
indication 5 seconds after the last adjustment or when another
function is activated.
7FRONT/REARFADERCONTROL
To adjust the front-rear speaker balance, first select the Fader
mode by pressing the Select button 3so the FAD indication
appears on the display panel. Within 5 seconds of choosing the
Fader mode, turnthe AUDIO CONTROL 2counter-clockwiseto
adjust the front-rear speaker balance to the rear speakers or
clockwiseto adjust it tothe front speakers. Thefader position will
be shown on the display panel from FAD R16 (full rear) to FAD F16
(full front). When the level between the front and rear speakers
is equal, FAD 00 will be shown on the display panel. The display
will automatically return to the normal indication 5 seconds after
thelast adjustment or when anotherfunction isactivated.
8LOUDNESS CONTOUR (LOUD)
When listening to music at low volume levels, this feature will
boost the bass and treble ranges to compensate for the
characteristics of human hearing. Press the LOUD button
momentarily to activate this feature and the indication LOUD will
appear on the display panel. Pressing the button again
momentarily will deactivate the feature (the LOUD indication will
disappear from the display panel).
9AUDIO MUTE SELECTOR (MUTE)
Pressthe MUTE button momentarilyto mute thevolume from the
system (MUTE will appear flashing on the display panel).
Pressingthe button againor adjusting theAUDIO CONTROL 2,
orpressing the equalizer (EQ) button or LOUD button, will return
to the volume level setting in use before the Mute function was
activated.
bl AM/FM BAND SELECTOR (BAND)
Eachtime this button is pressed,the radio band is changed. The
indicationAM1, AM2, FM1, FM2 or FM3 willappearonthe display

panelaccording to yourselection. During disc play,pressingthis
button will stop play of the disc and switch to radio operation
without ejecting the disc. During this time, the IN indication
will remain on the display panel to show that a disc is still loaded
in the unit. Press the MOD button to return to disc play from the
beginning of the last track in play.
WhenAM1 or AM2is selected, thestereo (ST ) indicationwill
disappearfrom the display.
bm MANUAL UP/DOWN TUNING ( + / -) /
AUTOMATIC SEEK TUNING (SEEK)
To manually select a radio station, momematrily press the Up
Tuning (+ ) side of the button to advance the unit two digits
higher or the Down Tuning ( -) side of the button to tune two
digitslower.
Pressing either side of the button for longer than 0.5 seconds
andthenreleasingwillactivatethe AutomaticSeekTuningfunction.
The radio will seek the next station in the selected direction and
stop at that frequency. The Seek function can be stopped by
pressingthe button again or activating any other tuning function.
Pressing and holding either side of the button for longer than 0.5
seconds will cause the radio to continue tuning rapidly in the
selecteddirection until the next availablestation and stop there.
bn LOCAL/DISTANT SELECTOR (LOC)
This feature is used to select the strength of the signals at which
the radio will stop during Automatic Seek Tuning. Pressing the
buttonwillselect the Local setting(LOCwillappearonthe display
panel)and only strong (local) stations will be received. Pressing
thebuttonagainwill select the Distantsetting(LOC will disappear
fromthe display panel) and the radio will stop at a wider range of
signals,including weaker (more distant) stations.
bo SUB-WOOFER SELECTION (SUB.W.)
The radio is equipped with a monaural audio output (in addition
to the low-level stereo outputs) which can be connected to
a remote power amplifier and associated sub-woofer speaker.
When the SUB.W. button is pressed, the indication appears
on the display and the sub-woofer audio signal is activated
and applied to the remote power amplifier, thereby enabling
the sub-woofer output.
bp PRE-SET SCAN (PS) / AUTO-STORE TUNING (AS)
Press this button momentarily to scan the stations pre-set into
each AM band and each FM band. The unit will stop at each
pre-setstationfor5 secondsbefore continuing to thenextpre-set
station(the pre-set number on the display panelwill flash during
Pre-SetScan operation). Press thebutton again momentarilyto
stop Pre-Set Scan operation and remain on the selected
frequency. If nobuttonsare pressed duringthescan, the unitwill
return to the original station before the scan.
Pressing and holding the button for longer than 2 seconds will
activate the Auto-Store Tuning feature which will automatically
scan and enter up to 6 stations into the pre-set memories on the
band in use.If you have already setthe pre-set memories to your
favoritestations,activatingtheAuto-StoreTuning featurewillerase
those stations and enter the new ones. This feature is most
useful when travelling in a new area where you are not familiar
with the local stations.
bq STATION PRE-SET MEMORIES
To set any of the 6 pre-set memories in each band, use the
followingprocedure:
1. Turnthe radio on and selectthe desiredband.
2. Select the first station to be pre-set using the Manual Up/
Downor Automatic Seek Tuning Controls bm.

3. Press the pre-set button to be set and continue to hold it in
for approximately 2 seconds. Thepre-set numberwillappear
on the display panel and two beeps will sound, indicating that
the station is now set into that pre-set memory position. The
stationcannowbe recalled at anytimeby pressing that button.
4. Repeat the above procedure for the remaining 5 pre-sets on
that band and for the other 4 bands on the unit.
br LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL
The Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) panel displays the frequency,
time,and activated functions.
NOTE: It is a characteristic of LCD panels that, if subjected to
coldtemperatures for anextended period of time, they
maytakelongertoilluminatethanundernormal conditions.
In addition, the visibility of the numbers on the LCD may
slightlydecrease. TheLCDread-out will return tonormal
whenthe temperature increasesto a normal range.
bs FUNCTION DISPLAY
The Function Display consits of five bar graphs which provide a
visual representation of the volume level and the left and right
channelbalancelevels. The volume level is representedbythree
thin bar graphs. As the volume is increased, the number of
illuminated segments will increase. The left and right channels
are represented by the wider bar graphs. As the strength of the
signal applied to either the left or right channel increases, the
numberof illuminated segmentswill increase.
bt MODE SELECTOR (MOD)
This button is used to select the radio or the playback mode for
the CD player/changer. Each press of the button will select a
differentmode as indicated on the display panel.
During integral CD player operation, this button may be used to
changetoradio without ejecting the disc. The IN indication
will remain on the display panel to show that the disc is still
loaded in the unit. During remote CD changer operation, the
DISC numberindication will remain on the display panel together
with the TRACK number being played, to show that the CD
changer is operating. Press the button again to return to radio
or integral CD player mode to resume play of the disc from the
point at which it was stopped.
bu DISC SLOT
With the front panel in the fold-down position, gently insert the
disc into the slot (label surface facing up) until the soft-loading
mechanism engages andpulls the disc in. The LOAD indication
willmomentarily appear on thedisplay panel followedby the total
playing time of the disc. The ( ) indication illuminates and
becomes animated, the IN symbol lights, and the track
number and elapsed time will appear on the display panel.
CAUTION: This unit is designed for play of standard 5"
(12cm) compact discs ONLY. Do not attempt to u se
3" (8cm) CD-Singles in this unit, either with or without
an adapter, as damage to the player and/or disc can
occur. Such damage will not be covered by the
Warranty on this product.
cl TRACK SELECT ( + / - )
During disc play the Track Select functions are used to quickly
accessthebeginning of a particulartrack. Eachtime the Forward
Track Select ( +) side of the button is pressed, the next
higher track number will be selected as shown on the display
panel. Similarly, each time the Backward Track Select ( - )
sideof the buttonis pressed, thenext lower track number willbe
selected as shown on the display panel.

cm CUE/REVIEW FUNCTIONS (+ / -)
During disc play, high-speed audible search to any section of
the disc can be made by the Cue and Review functions. Press
and hold the Cue (+ ) side of the button to advance rapidly in
the forward direction (the advancing disc playing time will be
shown on the display panel), or the Review ( -) side of the
button to advance rapidly in the backward direction (the
decreasingdisc playing time will beshown on the display panel).
During either function, the elapsed time within each track will
automaticallybe shown on the display panel.
cn TRACK ONE POSITION (TOP)
Duringdisc play,press this button to quickly return to thebegining
of the first track on the disc. The disc counter will return to zero,
andTRACK number 01will appear on the displaypanel.
co TRACK SCAN SELECTOR (SCN)
During disc play, press this button to play the first 10 seconds of
each track on the disc (SCAN will appear on the display panel).
When a desired track is reached, press the Scan button again to
cancelthe function (SCAN will disappear fromthe display panel)
and play of the selected track will continue. Scan mode will also
be canceled by activating the Repeat Play cp, or Random Play
cq functions. During CD changer operation, when the SCN
button is pressed twice the DISC and SCAN indications will
appear on the display panel and the first 10 seconds of the first
track on each disc in the magazine will be played. When a
desired disc is reached, press the SCN button again and play of
the selected disc will continue (DISC and SCAN will disappear
fromthe display panel). The Disc Scan mode will also becanceled
by activating any other disc function ( Repeat Play, Random
Play, etc.).
cp REPEAT PLAY SELECTOR (RPT)
Duringdiscplay,pressthisbutton to repeat the play of the selected
track(RPT will appear onthe display panel). Playof the track will
continue to repeat until the button is pressed again and the RPT
indicationdisappears from the display panel. RepeatPlay mode
will also becanceled by activating the TrackScan co or Random
Play cq functions. During CD changer operation, when the RPT
buttonis pressed twice theDISC and RPT indications willappear
onthe display panel andplayoftheselecteddiscwillbecontinually
repeateduntil the Disc Repeat modeis canceled by pressing the
RPT button again or by activating the Scan co or Random Play
cq functions.
cq RANDOM PLAY SELECTOR (RND)
During disc play, press this button to play the tracks on the disc
inarandomshuffledorder (RND will appear on the display panel).
InRandomPlaymode,theTrackSelect function cl will also select
tracks in the random order instead of the normal progression.
TheRandom Play mode can be canceled by pressing the button
again (RND indication will disappear from the display panel) or
by activating theRepeat Play cp or Track Scan co functions.
During CD changer operation, when the RND button is pressed
twice, the DISC and RND indications will appear on the display
panel and the discs in the magazine will be played in a random,
shuffled order, as well as the tracks on each disc. After playing a
track selected at random from a disc in the magazine, the unit
will select another disc at random and play a randomly selected
track on it. This will continue until the Random Disc mode is
canceled by pressing the RND button again or by activating the
Scan co or Repeat Play cp functions.

cr DISC SELECT UP/DOWN (CD+/CD-)
During CD changer operation, these buttons are used to select the
desired disc for play. To advance to a higher number disc, press the
CD+button,andtoreturntoalowernumberdisc,presstheCD-button.
Thenumberofthedisc in play will be shownonthedisplaypanel.
cs DISC EJECT ( )
DuringCDplayeroperation,discplayisstoppedandthediscisejected
when the front panel is folded down and this button on the rear of the
panel is pressed. Radio or CD changer operation will automatically
resume depending on which mode was in operation prior to disc play.
Ifthediscisnotremovedfromtheunitwithinapproximately15seconds
ofbeingejected,itwillautomaticallybere-loadedintotheunittoprevent
itfrombeing accidentally damaged ( IN will appear on the display
paneltoindicatethatadiscisloadedintheplayer). Playofthedisccan
beresumedbyusingtheModeSelectorbt tochooseCDplayerfunction.
ct TIME/FREQUENCY SELECTOR (T/F)
Duringradio operation, press this button to call the time display on the
incorporatedquartzclock. Thedisplaywillreturntotheradiofrequency
indication after 5 seconds.
DuringintegralCDplayeroperation,thefirstpressofthebuttonwillcall
thetrackelapsedtimeonthedisplaypanel.Asecondpresswillcallthe
timedisplay. DuringCD changer operation thefirstpressofthebutton
will call the time display. A second press will call the disc slot number
and track number in play. In either case, the display will return to the
disc indication after 5 seconds.
cu EQUALIZER BUTTON (EQ)
The EQ button applies preset sound effects to the unit’s audio
outputsignal. The EQ button, when pressed, will activate one of
three operating modes (ROCK, CLAS, or POP). When the
Equalizer function is active the bass and treble levels cannot be
changed. WhentheEqualizer function is not active, the unit returns
to the user set bass and treble levels.
dl THEFT-DETERRENTLED
Located on the chassis behind the front panel, a Light Emitting
Diode (LED) will flash when the panel is removed. The flashing
light serves as a visual warning to the would-be thief that the unit
has been disabled by removal of the front panel.
dm RESET BUTTON
A RESET button is also accessible behind the front panel and can be
usedtoactivatetheresetcircuitry. However,thisfeatureshouldonlybe
activatedunderthefollowingcircumstancesasitwillerasethetimeand
pre-setmemories:
1. Upon initial installation after all wiring iscompleted.
2. If there is a malfunction of any of the switches, on the unit,
pressing the RESET button may clear the system and return
tonormal operation.
dn REMOTE SENSOR
The sensor to detect the infrared signal from the wireless remote
control is located behind this lens. For optimum operation of the
remote control, always aim the control at this sensor.
do FRONT PANEL RELEASE BUTTON (OPEN)
This button is used to release the mechanism that holds the front
panel to the chassis. To detach the front panel, press the button
sothatthe panel drops tothe lowered position. Grasp thepanelat
themiddleandslideitoffof the front mounting plate. After removing
the panel, push the metal plate back up to the vertical position.

1. Make sure the front panel is oriented correctly when sliding it into the front mounting plate, as it cannot be attached when up-
side down. Use moderate pressure to fully seat the panel into position.
2. To verify correct panel installation, swing the panel assembly up into position until it locks easily into place. If any resis-
tance is encountered, re-check panel orientation in chassis mounting plate.
3. When taking the front panel with you, please use the supplied carrying case to protect the panel from dirt and damage. Make
sure there is no dust or dirt on the electrical terminals on the back of the panel as this could cause intermittent operation
or other malfunctions.

Ifaproblem should develop whileoperatingthe CD player,an error code (ER-1, ER-2, ER-3,etc.) may appearonthe display
panel. Thiscan indicate a number ofproblems withthe unit, including a mechanical error oran error in the microprocessor
controlof the player. Ifanerror code should appear, try ejectingand re-loading thedisc into the player. While the discis out
of the unit, make sure it is clean, undamaged, and loaded correctly (label surface up). You may also try activating the
RESET button dm on the unit, but this will also erase the time and pre-set memories.
CD PLAYER ERROR CODES
SETTING THE CLOCK
1. Switch the vehicle ignition and radio “on”.
2. Press the Time/Frequency button to access the time display.
3. While holding the Time/Frequency button in, press the Down Tuning ( -) button to adjust the hours and AM/PM
indication or the Up Tuning (+ ) button to adjust the minutes to the correct time.
4. Fiveseconds after thelasthour or minuteadjustment is made, thetime will beset in the unitand the display willreturn to
thenormal indication.

Builtinto this radio are controls to operate an optional CD changer.
Please check with your Prestige/Audiovox car stereo specialist
or call 1-800-645-4994 for recommendations of the models that
will work with this radio.
Adjustment of the audio functions (volume, tone, balance, and
fader)for the CD changer operate inthe same manneras they do
forradio play. Thefollowing controls will operate theCD changer
when it is installed and connected to this radio. Refer to the
owner’smanual included with the CD changer for instructions on
theinstallation and correct loading and use of the CD magazine.
dp CDCHANGER MODE SELECTOR (MOD)
During radio or CD play, press this button to select operation of
the CD changer as shown by CDC on the display panel. Disc
playwillbegin and thediscand track numberwillbe shown onthe
displaypanel. If anewmagazinehasbeen loadedintothechanger,
playwill begin fromthe first track ofthe first discin the magazine.
If a magazine was already in the changer, play will resume from
the track on the disc previously in play.
dq &dr DISC SELECT (CD+ & CD-)
These buttons are used to select the desired disc for play. To
advance to a higher number disc, press the CD+ button dq. To
return to a lower number disc, press the CD- button dr. The
number of the disc in play will be shown on the display panel.
ds TRACK SELECT (+ / -)
TheTrackSelectfunctionsareusedtoquicklyaccessthebeginning
of a particular track. Each time the Forward Track Select (+ )
sideof the button is pressed,the next higher track numberwill be
selected as shown on the display panel. Similarly, each time the
CD CHANGER CONTROLS
Backward Track Select ( -) side of the button is pressed, the
nextlower track numberwill be selectedas shown on the display
panel.
dt CUE/REVIEW FUNCTIONS (+ / -)
High-speedaudiblesearchtoanysectionof the disc can be made
bytheCue and Review functions. Pressandhold the Cue (+ )
sideof the button to advance rapidly in the forward direction (the
disc play symbol will rotate foward on the display panel) or the
Review( -)sideofthebutton toadvancerapidlyin thebackward
direction (the disc symbol will rotate backwards on the display
panel).
du TRACK/DISC SCAN SELECTOR (SCN)
Whenthe SCN button is pressed,the SCAN indicationwillappear
onthedisplay panel, and thefirst 10 seconds ofeachtrack on the
disc will be played in order. When a desired track is reached,
press the SCN button again and play of the selected track
willcontinue (SCN) will disappear from the display panel). The
TrackScan mode will also becanceled by activating the Repeat
orRandom Play functions.
When the SCN button is pressed twice the DISC and SCN
indicationswill appearonthedisplaypanelandthe first10seconds
of the first track on each disc in the magazine will be played.
Whena desired discis reached, pressthe SCN buttonagain and
playoftheselecteddiscwillcontinue(DISCandSCN willdisappear
fromthe display panel). The Disc Scan modewillalsobecanceled
by activatingthe Repeat Play or Random Play functions.
el DISC/TRACK REPEAT PLAY (RPT)
WhentheRPT buttonispressed,the RPT indication willappearon
thedisplaypanel and play of the selected trackwill be continually
repeated until the Track Repeat mode is canceled by pressing the

If a problem should develop while operating the CD changer, the following error codes may appear on the display panel.
ER-1: Indicates that there is no magazine loaded in the CD changer.
ER-2: Indicates a problem with the magazine eject function.
ER-3: Indicates an error in the disc loading function.
ER-4: Indicates an error in the disc un-loading function.
ER-5: Indicates an error in the magazine position.
ER-6: Indicates an error in the laser pick-up position.
ER-7: Indicates an error in the laser focus on the disc.
In any of these error situations, try ejecting the CD magazine from the changer and make sure the discs are clean, undamaged,
and loaded correctly(refer to the Owner’s Manual of the CD changer). Re-load the magazine and check for proper operation. You
may also try activating the RESET button dm on the unit, but this will also erase the time and pre-set memories.
If the suggested measures do not solve the problem, contact an approved warranty station near you for further assistance.
CD CHANGER ERROR CODES

indicationswill appear on the display panel and playoftheselected
disc will be continually repeated until the Disc Repeat mode is

em DISC/TRACK RANDOM PLAY (RND)
WhentheRND button is pressed,the RND indication willappear
on the display panel and the tracks on the disc will be played in a
random,shuffledorder. TheTrackSelect button ds will also select
tracks in the shuffled order instead of the normal progression.
TheRandom Track mode can be canceled by pressing the RND
button again or by activating the Scan du or Repeat Play el
functions. When the RND button is pressed twice, the DISC
and RND indications will appear on the display panel and the
discs in the magazine will be played in a random, shuffled order,
as well as the tracks on each disc. After playing a track selected
atrandomfrom a disc inthemagazine, the unitwillselect another
discat random andplay a randomlyselected track on it. This will
continue until the Random Disc mode is canceled by pressing
the RND button again or by activating the Scan du or Repeat
Play el functions.

WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL
OPERATION
Thewirelessremotecontrolsupplied with this modeliscapable of
operatingmost of the features of the unit from a remote location.
Each button on the remote control functions in the same way as
the referenced button on the main unit. For optimal operation of
the remote control, always aim it toward the Remote Sensor dn
on the front panel of the main unit.

lWhenthevehiclewarmsupduringcoldweatherorunderdamp
conditions,moisturemaycondenseonthelensofthediscplayer.
Should this occur, the player will not operate properly until the
moisturehasevaporated.
lTheunitisdesignedwithavibrationdampeningCDmechanismto
minimize interruption of disc play due to normal vibration in a
moving vehicle. When driving on very rough roads, however,
occasional sound skips may occur. This will not scratch or
damage the disc and normal play will resume when the rough
conditions cease.
HANDLINGCOMPACTDISCS
Dirt,dust,scratches,andwarpagecancauseskipsintheplayback
anddeteriorationofsoundquality. Please followtheseguidelines
to take care of your compact discs:
lUse only compact discs with the mark .
lFingerprints, dust, and dirt should be carefully wiped off the
disc’s playing surface (shiny side) with a soft cloth. Wipe in a
straight motion from the inside to the outside of the disc.
lNeverusechemicalssuchasrecordsprays,householdcleaners
or thinner to clean compact discs. Such chemicals can
irreparably damage the disc’s surface.
lDiscs should be kept in their storage cases when not in use.
lDonotexposediscstodirectsunlight,hightemperaturesorhigh
humidity for extended periods.
lDonotstickpaper,tape,orlabelsonthediscsurfacesnorwrite
on them with any type of marker.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Theradiosectionofyournewsoundsystemdoesnotrequireany
maintenance. We recommend you keep this manual for
referenceonthe many features found in this unit as well as how
to set the clock.
The compact disc player section also requires no routine
maintenance,butproperunderstandingofitsuseandhandlingwill
help you obtain maximum enjoyment of its capabilities. The
followingpointsshouldbeobserved:
lWhen cleaning the interior of the vehicle, do not get water or
cleaning fluids on the unit.
lThe CD player is a precision instrument and will not operate
properlyinextremehotorcold. Incaseofsuchconditions,wait
until the interior temperature of the vehicle reaches a normal
temperature before using the player.
lIf the temperature inside the player gets too hot, a protective
circuitwillautomaticallystopplayofthedisc. Inthiscase,allow
the unit to cool off before operating the player again.
lNeverinsertanythingotherthana5"(12cm)compactdiscinto
the player as the mechanism can be damaged by foreign
objects.
lDonotattempttouse3"(8cm)CD-Singlediscsinthisunit,either
withorwithoutanadaptor,asdamagetotheplayerand/ordisc
mayoccur. Suchdamagewillnotbe covered by the Warranty
on this product.
lWhen not using the disc player, always remove the compact
disc.
