Het masker is een 4-laags mond-neus masker. Het masker beschermt de zorgprofessional tegen inademing van virussen. Het
masker houdt minste 94% van alle deeltjes tegen.
Let op:
●De keuze van het juiste mondmasker, het juiste gebruik, de juiste training voor het gebruik en de juiste opslag van het
mondmasker zijn essentieel om de gebruiker te helpen beschermen tegen virussen. Het deels of geheel nalaten hiervan kan
nadelige gevolgen hebben voor de gezondheid van de drager of zelfs leiden tot ernstige levensbedreigende ziekten of
invaliditeit.
●Het masker is voor eenmalig gebruik: het mag maximaal voor 1 dienst gebruikt worden. Geadviseerd wordt na elk contact of
elke patient een nieuw beschermingsmasker te gebruiken.
●Het is uitsluitend geschikt voor (en getest met) dragers zonder baard. Baardharen onder de afdichting verminderen de
afdichting/bescherming.
●Controleer vóór gebruik eerst of de bewaartermijn niet is overschreden.
●Controleer vóór gebruik of het masker onbeschadigd is.
●Laat het masker tot gebruik in de originele verpakking.
●Transporteer het masker alleen in de originele verpakking.
Gebruik Berschermingsmasker (zie afbeeldingen)
1. Pas handhygiëne toe
2. Haal het mondmasker uit de verpakking
3. Hou het masker met één hand over neus en mond en trek met de andere hand de elastieken over het hoofd, eentje boven de
oren en eentje er onder.
4. Controleer of het masker goed is gepositioneerd. Rek eventueel het elastiek een beetje voor een beter comfort.
5. Plaats je vingers op de neus en druk de neus-clip met beide handen aan, zodat het de vorm van de neus volgt en goed afsluit.
6. Plaats je beide handen op het masker en adem stevig uit en controleer of er lucht langs het masker ontsnapt. Als er lucht
langs ontsnapt probeer het masker beter te positioneren en probeer opnieuw. Blijft er lucht ontsnappen dan past het masker
niet goed op je gezicht en kun je het niet gebruiken.
7. Verlaat de verontreinigde zone onmiddellijk wanneer
a. Ademhalen moeilijk wordt
b. Misselijkheid of ander ongemak optreedt
8. Masker afzetten:
a. Pas handhygiëne toe
b. Raak NIET het blauwe deel aan, maar trek het masker aan de elastieken uit
c. Pas nogmaals handhygiëne toe
d. Doe het besmette masker bij het daarvoor bestemde afval conform de nationale richtlijnen.
Opslag condities
Bewaren tussen -20°C en 25 °C Maximale luchtvochtigheid 80% Niet geschikt voor hergebruik

The mask is a 4 layer face mask covering the mouth and nose. The protection mask will protect the healthcare professionals
against inhalation of viruses. At least 94% of all particles will be blocked by the face mask.
Pay attention:
●The choice of the correct mask, the correct use, the correct training for the use and the correct storage of the mask are
essential to help protect the user against viruses. Failure to do so in whole or in part may adversely affect the health of the
wearer or even lead to serious life-threatening illness or disability.
●The mask is a single-use product: only used for a maximum period of one shift. Befor any contact with a patient, the
health care provider is advised to use a new protection mask.
●It is only suitable for (and tested with) wearers without a beard. Facial hair under the edge of themask reduces the seal /
protection.
●Before use, first check that the storage period has not been exceeded.
●Before use, check that the mask is undamaged.
●Leave the mask in the original packaging until use.

Use instructions for the Protection Masker (see figures above)
1. Wash your hands
2. Remove the mouth mask from the packaging
3. Hold the mask over the nose and mouth with one hand and pull with the other the elastic bands over the head, one above
the ears and one below.
4. Check that the mask is properly positioned. If necessary, stretch the elastic bands a bit for better comfort.
5. Place your fingers on the nose and press the nose clip with both hands so that it follows the shape of the nose and seals
properly.
6. Place both hands on the mask and exhale firmly and check whether the air escapes past the mask. If that is the case,
reposition the mask and try again. In case air keeps escaping past the mask, the mask will not fit your face properly and
you cannot use it.
7. Leave the contaminated area immediately when
a. Breathing becomes difficult
b. Nausea or other discomfort occurs
8. Take off mask after use:
a. Disinfect your hands
b. do not touch the blue part, but use the bands to take off the mask
c. Disinfect your hands again
d. Dispose of the contaminated mask in the appropriate waste in accordance with national guidelines.
Storage conditions
