STEP ONE
NURSERY
Nursery Kit

Tools:
1. Remove cover from the Nursery
Kit and add water until it overfills
the silt tray.!
!
2. Place Foam in silt tray and let it
soak for 5 minutes.!
!
3. Put Seeds into the
Seed Bowl and use
the Tweezers to pick
one to three seeds
and place them into the pre-cut
slots in the Foam Substrate. The
slot should be in the middle of each
block within the Foam Substrate.!
!
4. Place the cover on the Nursery
Tray and keep the Nursery Kit in an
ambient temperature of 77-85oF and
leave it for 3 to 5 Days.!
!
5. Sometimes Germination can take
up to 15 Days. It’s recommended to
change the water every 3 days.

1. When the sprouts grow to approximately 1-
inch tall, they are ready to be transplanted to the
LF-ONE system in the grow trays.!
!
2. Separate each block containing a sprout from
the Foam Substrate into its own standalone
foam block, then place it in the grow basket
using the tweezers.!
!
3. Place each basket into a corresponding
planting hole in the shelf of the grow tray. !
!
4. Continue doing this until you fill all 18 holes per grow tray. You
may grow different crops per each grow tray or
even mix them. Note that germination and
harvest times might be different per each crop.!
!
5. On the bottom shelf, remove the lid from the
water tank and fill with water to its maximum
capacity. The maximum capacity is indicated on
the measurement gauge in the front.
STEP TWO
TRANSPLANT

1.Now is time to feed your plants! LF-ONE comes with 5 sets
of nutrient mix. Each set contains both a Nutrient A and a
Nutrient B package. And you will need to use one full set for
each grow cycle. !
!
2. Fill the measuring cup with 3/4 cups of water (as indicated on cup). Empty
the complete contents of Nutrient A formula into the water and stir to dissolve. Let the stirred
mixture set for approximately 5 minutes until the formula has dissolved, and then pour the
solution into the water tank.!
!
3. Repeat point 2 only this time, use Nutrient B in place of Nutrient A in the mixture. All other
steps remain the same. (CAUTION! NEVER mix the two nutrient formulas
together in powder form or directly into the water tank. Avoid contact
with eyes and keep away from children.)!

4. Make sure the water tank is filled and now connect the power. !
!
5. On the Program Logic Controller (PLC), you can set the irrigation and
LED grow light timers for automation throughout the grow process. you
only must set it once and the system will run automatically throughout the
growing process until you harvest your plants and turn the controller off. !

Programming Your Settings!
In order to program your settings for irrigation and grow lighting, follow
these steps:!
!
1. On the PLC panel, press and hold the SET button for 10 seconds. You will see a flashing screen. Start by setting
the date and time. Use the {+ / -} to forward to the desired date or time, then press the SET button. You will then be
prompted for the next setting. !
!
2. For irrigation settings, choose your desired time to activate the pump and have it turned off. The irrigation program will loop
continuously until you unplug the system. We recommend setting the pump to “on” for 30 minutes, and then “off” for 60 minutes to keep
your plants nutritious and healthy.!
!
3.For grow light settings, SEED indicates control on the top shelf (level 3). GROW indicates control on the bottom two shelves (levels 1 &
2). The lights are programmed and controlled on a 24-hour interval. Preset your desired ON and OFF times, and the program will run
automatically throughout the grow cycle until the system is unplugged. This powers offthe unit.
