System Setup
The system setup is divided into 4 steps. We recommend doing the installation with two
persons.
Step 1: Tripod
Set up the two tripods and make sure that you have a secure stand. To do this, unfold
the tripod legs and lock them at the central locking screw.
Step 2: Blackbody and user display with infrared camera
Mount the blackbody and the user display with the pre-installed adapter pins on one of
the two stands. To do this, insert the adapter pin into the holder provided at the top end
of the stand and fix it by tightening the wing screw. Attach the signs to one of the two
stands so that they are clearly visible to the user and approaching persons.

Step 3: Positioning the tripods and floor stickers
Place the two tripods so that the lens of the camera and the blackbody lens are facing
each other. Now determine the distances between the individual components using a
suitable measuring device. The two following illustrations clearly show how the tripods
and individual components should be positioned in relation to each other.
Please note that depending on the camera version you have purchased, the distance
between camera and user must be varied to cover a comparable range. The following
table shows the distance between camera and user.

In a further step, look at the system from the view of the blackbody to the camera and
adjust the distances accordingly.

Step 4: Establishing the cable connections and system setup
Attach the control unit of the blackbody to the corresponding tripod. Use the velcro
fasteners on the back to attach the component. Place the monitor, keyboard and
mouse on a suitable table or pedestal near the infrared camera. Finally, you have to set
up the individual cable connections.

After you have connected all cables of the system, plug all power supply units and
power cables into the supplied socket strip and connect this to a supply connection.
Switch on the socket strip as well as the main switch of the control unit of the blackbody
and follow the instructions of the system setup, which is described below.
The user display must be switched on separately. To do this, press the orange
button on the left side of the holding frame until you get a noticeable, haptic
feedback. The tablet automatically starts up and makes all necessary
connections. The process takes about 1-2 minutes.

Integration Package
This system variant is suitable for all users who want to install a fixed installation in
buildings, access areas or passageways. Due to the easy integration possibility in existing
network infrastructures, you will be able to display and access the administration area
and visualization of the system data at different terminals or office workstations. To start
with the system integration, check for completeness by using the list provided in the
scope of the delivery.

System Setup
The system setup is divided into 2 steps. We recommend doing the installation with 2
persons.
Step 1: Blackbody and infrared camera
Both components are equipped with threaded holes or mounting plates to allow safe
and stable integration into existing building entrances or general passageways.
Detailed information on the mechanical dimensions and mounting options can be
found in the technical drawings in the appendix.
Infrared Camera
The power supply unit for the infrared camera is provided by the supplied I/O panel. First
install it in a switch box where it is protected against unauthorized or accidental contact.
Connect the supplied power supply unit to the respective connections of the panel. The
pin assignment can be found in the following table.
Power supply

Now use the M12 power/IO cable to establish a connection between the I/O panel
connection and the corresponding connection on the back of the camera.
Connect a computer system to the infrared camera via the M12-RJ45 network cable.
Blackbody
The power supply and control of the blackbody is provided by the control unit. To do this,
install the switch box of the control unit near the blackbody and connect the grey cable
of the control unit to the cable socket provided for this purpose.

Step 2: Positioning and floor stickers
Since the cameras of all system variants are preconfigured to achieve an optimum
measuring result, the distances to be maintained between the individual components
are identical. Please refer to the chapter "Step 3: Positioning the tripods and floor stickers"
of the mobile package for the corresponding data.
After you have positioned all components, plug all power supply units and power cables
into an appropriate supply connection. Switch on the supply voltage as well as the main
switch of the control unit of the blackbody and follow the instructions of the system
setup, which is described below.

System Setup
The system setup is divided into 3 steps. We recommend doing the installation with 2 or 3
persons.
Step 1: Mounting frame and upper side panels
Position the two upper side parts in such a way that the lens of the black body and the
lens of the camera are facing each other. Insert the screwed-in universal connectors at
the upper profile ends of the side parts - namely into the grooves of the mounting frame's
cross profiles. The profiles are correctly positioned when the outer edges of the
assemblies are in line. Using the installation tool, fix the screws of the universal connector
through the holes in the outer corners of the mounting frame.
