Introduction
Overview
AVA-SP18-H00 is a 1:8 slim splitter for HDMI with Ultra HD 4K support.
It reliably distributes one HDMI source signal up to eight HDMI displays.
The HDCP compliant splitter supports resolutions up to 4K@30Hz and
1080p@60Hz. This splitter features two advanced technologies: EDID
management, which provides three EDID options for different
resolutions output, and HDCP management, which authenticates HDCP
encryption between all devices, ensuring the HDMI source reliably
outputs correct content for display.
It is ideal for applications, such as offices, schools, conferences rooms,
shopping malls, hotels or museums, which require the distribution of an
HDMI source signal to multiple displays.

Ultra-slim appearance and space saving.

Supports HDMI 1.4a and HDCP.
Supports HD resolutions up to 4K@30Hz.
Support signal transmission distance up to 50 feet (15 meters) at 4K
when used with standard HDMI cables.
Reshapes marginal or noisy HDMI signals, ensuring a strong,
stable digital signal.
Supports EDID management, which provides multiple EDID options
for various resolutions output and ensures that the HDMI source
reliably outputs correct content for display.
Provides RS232 port for updating firmware.

Hardware Installation
1. Connect an HDMI source device (such as a Blu-Ray, games
console, media server etc.) to the input port splitter using quality
HDMI cables.
2. Connect eight HDMI display devices (LED/LCD display or projector)
to the output port of the splitter.
3. Connect the power adapter to the splitter and power on all devices.

EDID Management
The splitter features EDID management, which provides three EDID
options for different resolutions output and ensures that the HDMI
source reliably outputs correct content for display.
The following table lists the EDID information built in the splitter. You can
toggle the switch to a certain position to read EDID from a specific
output or to directly use the EDID information.

Note: After you change the EDID, repower the splitter for the
changes to take effect.
