The Tree of Life Story

Inspired by the gothic arches of cathedrals in Europe and a love of nature, the Tree of

Life’s delicate branch and leaf design is as captivating as its story. Early worshippers

gathered in the woods before churches were ever built. Later, when cathedrals were

constructed, this Tree of Life design was incorporated into their structures, reminiscent

of the natural arches of trees and branches interlocking. Today many of us still commune

with trees and nature, spending time in the outdoors to feel connected, refreshed and

inspired.

The Tree of Life design was born from a partnership with famed furniture designer, John

Caldwell. He believes that stoves, like furniture, should be beautiful as well as functional,

and add to the beauty and enjoyment of our homes.

Features As Amazing As The Design

The Tree of Life features a view of the fire on three sides for a

huge 421 square inches of viewing area! The standard double

doors can be positioned open (note the finely cast detail even

on the inside of the door) or completely removed for

unobstructed fire viewing.

The advanced log design was specifically made with 180 viewing

in mind. Each painstakingly hand-carved log can be enjoyed

from any angle. The award-winning Ember-Fyre™ burner*

presents the most realistic, wood-like fire found in any gas

appliance. Unlike other gas appliances, the Ember-Fyre burner

will produce an enjoyable fire with glowing embers even at its

lowest flame setting.

Our patent pending self-balancing flue system is designed to produce the most beautiful flame with any approved vent configuration

(top or rear termination) or under any atmospheric weather condition.
