Getting started with AwoX StriimLIGHT WiFi Color
Welcome
Congratulations and thank you for choosing the AwoX
StriimLIGHT WiFi Color speaker light. This innovative music player
contains both a full-color LED light bulb and an audio speaker,
giving you a great way to listen to music from nearly any source
anywhere you can plug in a light bulb! Use several Striim® WiFi
products to create zones in full stereo around the house.
A fun and easy way to play music from many sources,
including your Apple iOS™ or Google Android™ smartphone
or tablet, PC or Mac(1), home servers, and the Internet
Access to hundreds of Internet radio stations(2)
Use the free AwoX media player software for your iPhone®,
iPad®, iPod touch®, or Android smartphone.(3)

Changing the remote control battery
1. Slide and lift off cover from back of remote control.
2. Use the tip of a pen to push back the tab in the corner.
3. Press bottom of battery to lift from slot.
4. To replace the battery, place the bottom of the battery
in first and push until it clicks into position.
If your Internet router supports WPS
WPS is a feature that enables you to add new Wi-Fi devices to
your network at the touch of a button. If your Internet router
supports WPS, simply press the WPS button on the router and
then press the WPS button on your StriimLIGHT WiFi Color
device. The two devices will recognize each other automatically
and you may begin using the AwoX Striim CONTROL application
right away. Otherwise, the installation wizard runs as described in
the next section.
Note: Do not use any kind of electrical dimmer switch other
than the provided remote control.




AwoX Striim CONTROL setup
1. After downloading the
application, tap on the
launcher icon to run AwoX
Striim CONTROL.
2. If StriimCONTROL does not
detect a StriimLIGHT color
device in your network, the
setup wizard starts the first
time you launch the
application.
3. Choose to install AwoX
StriimLIGHT WiFi.
4. The wizard guides you through all
the steps for connecting your AwoX
StriimLIGHT WiFi Color device to your local network to begin
playing your music.

AwoX Striim Control offers many features enabling you to get the
most out of your AwoX products. Complete instructions for using
the free AwoX software are provided in Adobe PDF® format on
your AwoX StriimLIGHT WiFi Color CD-ROM and on

allumez la lumière. Le démarrage de StriimLIGHT prend plusieurs
secondes.

Changer la pile de la télécommande
1. Faites coulisser et soulevez le boîtier au dos de la
télécommande.
2. Avec la pointe d’un stylo, appuyez sur la languette en
haut à droite.
3. Appuyez sur le bas de la pile pour la faire basculer, et
ainsi la soulever.
4. Insérez la nouvelle pile dans le bon sens, puis poussez
jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un clic.
Modems compatibles avec le protocole WPS
Le protocole WPS est une fonctionnalité qui vous permet de
connecter facilement de nouveaux appareils Wifi à votre réseau, en
appuyant simplement sur un bouton. Si votre modem est
compatible avec le protocole WPS, appuyez sur le bouton WPS de
votre modem, puis sur celui de votre ampoule StriimLIGHT WiFi
Color. Les deux dispositifs établissent automatiquement la
connexion : vous pouvez dès à présent utiliser l’application AwoX
Striim CONTROL. La section suivante décrit l’assistant d’installation.
Remarque : n’utilisez en aucun cas un gradateur autre que la
télécommande fournie.




Configuration d’AwoX Striim CONTROL
1. Une fois l’application
téléchargée, appuyez sur
l’icône correspondante
pour ouvrir AwoX Striim
CONTROL.
2. Lors de la première
utilisation, si Striim
CONTROL ne détecte pas
d’ampoule StriimLIGHT
Color, l’application lance
l’assistant de configuration.
3. Lorsque l’assistant vous
demande le type de
dispositif à installer, choisissez AwoX
StriimLIGHT WiFi.
4. L’assistant vous aide alors à connecter votre ampoule AwoX
StriimLIGHT WiFi Color à votre réseau, afin que vous puissiez
écouter de la musique. Une fois la connexion établie, le voyant
bleu cesse de clignoter et reste allumé.
