•Avoid air pressure settings above 7 bars as this can
damage the spray gun
•Only use VACTAC200 hot melt adhesive with the
spray gun. New adhesives will need to be qualified by
R&D before use
•NEVER leave the gun lying on its side while turned
on. This will cause adhesive to run back into the
chamber and jamming the gun.
•Prevent contamination of the adhesive slugs.
Particles in or on the adhesive slugs can block the
nozzle of the spray gun.
•Always follow current guidelines for adhesive dosage.
Over dosage can cause delamination's.
•Always consult AXVAC before potential changes of
nozzle type.
•Hot melt adhesive should not be used for full surface
joining.
•For large glass pieces it is recommended to join fix-
points in the glass and adhere the fabrics from these
inside the mould as opposed to applying adhesive to
the entire ply outside the mould.
