desired consistency is reached. This can take
between 20 to 40 minutes.

. To switch off, press power button and remove
the power unit/lid. The ice cream will be soft
serve and ready to eat, or transfer into an
airtight container and pop in the freezer for
approx. 2 hours before serving.
IMPORTANT
• Do not stop and start The Ultimate Scoop
during the freezing process, as the mixture
may freeze in contact with the freezer bowl
and prevent movement of the paddle.
• To avoid overheating the motor, the direction
of rotation will change if the mixture becomes
too thick. If the direction of rotation continues
to change, stop the machine the mixture
is ready.
• In the unlikely event of the motor overheating,
a safety cut out will operate causing the motor
to stop. If this happens, switch off, unplug and
allow the power unit to cool.
• The ice cream produced should be a soft
creamy texture. If you desire a firmer
consistency transfer to a separate airtight
container and store in the freezer before
eating, approx. 2 hours.
• Due to the lack of stabilisers in freshly made
ice cream, with additional freezing the ice
cream will set extra hard. Remove from
freezer 20-30 minutes before serving.
• For recipes that are precooked/ heated, the
mixture should be chilled overnight before
using, or completely cooled in an ice bath.
• Do not use metal utensils to remove mixture
from the freezer bowl.
• Do not remove the freezer bowl from the
freezer until ready to make ice cream.

Freeze the bowl in the upright position.
• Always make sure the freezer bowl is
thoroughly dry before placing in the freezer.
• Do not puncture or heat the freezer bowl.
• The freezer bowl should be placed in a freezer
that is operating at a temperature of
-18° C / 32° F below for 12 hours before use.
• For best results always refrigerate the
ingredients before making ice cream.
• To cool down ingredients quickly make an ice
bath. Fill either a large bowl or the kitchen sink
with ice, add a little bit of salt and some cold
water. Then place the vessel with the ice
cream mixture into the bath, stir occasionally
to cool your mixture.
• The addittion of alcohol to recipes inhibits the
