5x4 inch Cockpit Head Down Display
The CHDD-254 is an advanced, 5x4 inch avionics displays that
accepts both digital video inputs (DVI) and most of the currently
available analog video inputs (Composite, RGB, STANAG,...).
Equipped with the latest, sunlight-readable Active Matrix
Liquid Crystal Displays technology, the CHDD-254 provides
exceptionally high brightness and excellent contrast. The use
of advanced electronics allows for a very compact footprint
(maximum 4.5” depth) and low power consumption.
The innovative CHDD-254 unit is DO-178B and DO-254 certified
up to level A. Because of this, the display can be used as
Primary Flight Display (in combination with an external symbol
generator) in almost any type of aircraft.
