CLM HD8
Barco’s CLM HD8 is a compact 8,500 lumen DLP projector with full HD (1,920 x 1,080)
resolution designed specifically for the demanding rental and staging market.
The combination of DLP technology, sealed optics and high density filter ensures that
the CLM HD8 will deliver superb images year after year without expensive and time
consuming maintenance.
A strong and durable all-metal chassis is used for maximum reliability and protection.
The optional rigging kit enables fast and easy mounting all common types of trusses
as well as easy stacking and adjustment for multi-projector applications. The low
noise level, compact size and low weight makes the CLM HD8 an attractive choice
for small and midsize venues.
Priced in the same range as high brightness LCD projectors, the CLM HD8 offers a
number of advantages not only in image quality but also in image consistency and
running costs. With the combination of high performance HD-projection in a compact
and rugged package, the CLM HD8 redefines mid-venue HD projection.
Key features:
• Full HD resolution 1,920 x 1,080
• 8,500 lumen brightness
• DLP image quality
• Rugged and reliable
• Compact and lightweight

8,000 lumen brightness - now
and
tomorrow
The CLM HD8 uses a new and very efficient lamp/light engine
combination that enables 8,500 lumen brightness not only
when the projector is new but also after years of use. This high
performance DLP projector remains a high performer. The CLM
HD8 features sealed optics and high density filters to keep it
clean and true to its specification. Unlike other types of projec-
tion technologies, there are no expensive optical parts to
replace regularly to maintain the brightness and image quality.
The full HD resolution of the CLM HD8 (1,920 x 1,080) in combination
with our state of the art scaling technology ensures uncompromised
performance regardless of image format.
Outstanding DLP image quality
This high performance DLP projector offers an image quality
that rivals much more more expensive projectors. The CLM HD8
uses the same state of the art image processing technology as
our award winning FLM series projectors. The full HD resolution
of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels in combination with our state of the art
scaling technology ensures uncompromised performance
regardless of image format. Crisp, clear video and graphic
images without loss of detail.
The CLM HD8 is a fully Barco engineered and manufactured. It
is designed, manufactured and tested to the same high stan-
dards as its successful bigger brothers, the SLM, FLM and XLM
series, all established industry standards in the demanding
rental and staging market.

Rugged - built for the road
The CLM features a sturdy all-metal chassis that protects
- as well as keeps - all parts in place even under the
toughest conditions. An optional frame with carrying
handles makes rigging on trusses easy.
Compact, low noise and lightweight
The compact size of the CLM will allow it to fit applications
where previously, lower brightness projectors were the
only choice. The light weight of the CLM makes handling
and rigging quick and easy.
Outstanding value and fully featured - why settle for less?
The CLM does not only feature high brightness and great image quality.
Its fully featured design means it offers outstanding value by being a
complete unit straight out of the box;
• Optical dimmer (true black) controlled by DMX512 signal
• Soft edge blending
• On-touch auto alignment
• Remote control by Ethernet / Projector Toolset
• Practical and easy rigging points
The price of the CLM HD8 makes it attractive to markets and
applications that previously had to settle for lesser products.
Until now, high brightness DLP projectors were typically either higher
priced or unsuitable for smaller applications. With the CLM HD8 there is
now a Barco DLP projector to cover these applications - within your
budget.
The full featured connectivity of the CLM HD8 makes it uniquely suitable for
venues and situations where sources and applications vary from day to day.
The plug-in input modules allow for any signal type to be accommodated.
The remote configuration via Ethernet with our Projector Toolset makes
centralized control and set-up a breeze. The remote control of most parameters
by DMX512 including true optical dimming ensures easy integration with
show and lighting control systems.
