Installation Quick Start

Step 1: Turn off the power feeding your existing controller at the breaker box.
Step 2: Unscrew four plastic corner screws off the front of the controller
Step 3: Unplug and label the output ribbon cable, 24v wire, and common wire
Step 4: Now that the old top lid is uninstalled, we can install the new lid assembly
Step 5: At this point install the CH add on board attached to your new lid assembly into the relay
board in the bottom of the enclosure. See Figure 1 below.

Step 6: Plug ribbon cable in housed header marked in yellow on the lid. See Figure 2 below.

Step 7: If installing a ClimateBoss Lid, proceed to Step 9. If installing a WeatherBoss lid, the rain sensor
connections will be moved from the connection board to the lid’s power supply board.
Step 8: Connect the rain sensor at COM & Close D on the power supply board as shown in Figure 4 & 5.

Step 9: Reassemble the top lid with the four plastic screws
Step 10: Turn the power back on at the breaker.
