Do not place the lens under direct sunlight. It may cause fire.
Do not disassemble or modify the lens. It may impair the

The C23 lens series is not intended for use in environments

2 Lens Installation
1. Align the lens threads with the camera mount threads.
2. Screw in the lens until it is firmly attached to the camera.
If you want to use the lens with a CS-mount camera, a distance ring
(5 mm) must be attached to the lens. To purchase a suitable distance
ring, contact Basler.
3 Setting the Iris and Focus
Execute the following steps for the iris, and another time for the focus:
1. Make sure the locking thumbscrew is not tightened fully.
There are screw holes at different positions available.
2. Rotate the iris ring or the focus ring of the lens to adjust the iris or
focus.
3. To fix the iris ring or focus ring, tighten the thumbscrew (maximum
torque of 0.02 Nm).
4 Filter Installation
1. Screw the filter into the lens barrel.
5 Lens Cleaning
To remove dust from the lens, brush off the dust with an oil-free
soft brush or a lens blower brush.
To remove water or oil from the lens:
1. Wipe away the liquid with dry lens cleaning paper.
2. Moisten the lens cleaning paper with lens cleaning liquid.
3. Wipe the lens with the moistened lens cleaning paper from the
center to the periphery while drawing a spiral.

3 アイリスとフォーカスの設定
アイリスとフォーカスの設定は、それぞれ別に以下のステップで実
行してください。
1. 固定つまみがきつく締められていないことを確認してください。
異なる位置にねじ穴があいているものもご利用いただけます。
2. レンズのアイリスリングまたはフォーカスリングを回転し、アイ
リスまたはフォーカスを調整します。
3. アイリスリング、またはフォーカスリングを締めるには、ネジを
締めます（アイリスリングとフォーカスリングそれぞれを締め
る）: つまみ、または別売りのオプションの固定ねじ (グラブね
じ) (最大トルク 0.02 Nm)。
4 フィルターの取り付け
1. フィルターをレンズの鏡筒に取り付けます。
5 レンズのクリーニング
レンズから埃を取り除くには、オイルを使用しない柔らかいブラ
シまたはレンズ専用のブロアーブラシを使用してください。
水滴や油分をレンズから取り除くには :
1. 乾いたレンズクリーニングペーパーを使用し、液体を拭き取
ります。
2. レンズのクリーニングペーパーをクリーニング液で湿らせま
す。
3. 湿らせたクリーニングペーパーで、中心から周辺へと円を描
くようにレンズを拭き取ります。
