YOUR PUMP
Bay Sports have one Electric Air pump: Hercules. And for
good reason. With so many on the market, we researched,
tested and chose this workhorse of an electric air pump. A
great alternative to using a hand pump to inflate your SUP
or Kayak, you can sit back and relax whilst it does all the
hard work getting your board ready for it’s next adventure.

button to begin inflation. Once the inflatable pressure reaches
the desire pressure setting from the pump, it will stop auto-
matically. (You may now detach the hose from the valve and
tightly close the valve cap). And if the desire pressure setting

then please reset desire air pressure setting and repeat the
inflation process.

TIPS
Here are our tips for best operation
1. The Vehicle should be on and running to avoid draining the
battery.
2. If using the alligator clips ensure that the sockets are pushed
in correctly to the car charger to power the pump.
3. Attach the hose securely to the pump, and rotate the Valve
Stem to the UP position on your inflatable product.
4. Push the hose down while turning clockwise until it won’t turn
any more on your inflatable product valve.
5. The pump will start making a ‘whirring’ sound while starting
inflation at low pressure, when the pressure gets near 1 PSI, the
pump will change gears and the pumping sound will change
to a loud sound. The needle will vibrate back and forth rapidly
during the second stage of pumping, this is normal behavior.
6. The inflation time can take up to 10-15 minutes to 15 PSI.
7. Once inflated, insert the valve cover to protect the valve stem
and prevent accidental deflation.
8. To begin deflation, push the valve stem and turn clockwise ¼
turn to put the valve in the open position.
9. After the air has escaped, which will create a loud noise due
to the pressure, the electric pump can be used in the deflate
function to remove any remaining air or simply roll the inflat-
able product up and push out the remaining air.
10. The pump will not cut off in the deflate mode, you will need
to manually do this.
11. Be sure to put the valve stem on the inflatable product back
to the UP position, ready for next use otherwise air will escape
when you remove the pump on next use causing it to deflate.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
IMPORTANT

minutes and extended operation can cause motor overheating
or damage the pump. (Recommend: pause 10 minutes for
cooling for every 20 minutes used.)

wet conditions or expose to water. Always store in a cool dry area,
away from heat and moisture.
