Important Information
The Chillswell water filter and cooler is easy to install and delivers great tasting water by
reducing the taste of chlorine and the odour of lead and copper.
Do not attempt to use the Chillswell before it has been installed and set up as described in
these instructions and keep these instructions for future use.
Water
•This unit should only be used with chlorinated water
•Do not use with hot or warm water
•Do not leave water in the unit for extended periods. It is recommended that the unit
be fully cleaned if this happens and before using.
Maintenance
•Replace filter after 150 litres or 2 months of use or whichever comes first
•If the taste, smell or flow rate changes, it is recommended you change the filter
immediately
•Sanitise the unit fully every 1 to 2 months
•Do not attempt to service this unit. Any attempt to service will void the warranty
Cleaning
•This unit is not dishwasher safe
•Unplug unit prior to cleaning
•Unplug when cleaning or when not in use
•Never clean with scouring powders or abrasives
•Do not submerge main unit in water
Position
•This unit is designed for light use at home or in a small office
•If the unit is damaged in any way, refrain from using it
•Keep away from direct sunlight
•Not for outdoor use
•Ensure the unit is appropriately earthed
•Ensure the unit has 100mm of ventilation all round
•Do not place near a heat source.

Sterilising and Cleaning Instructions
It is important to follow the Sterilising and Cleaning process below before using and as part
of your regular maintenance routine.
1. Combine two tablespoons of baking soda with 2 litres of lukewarm water in a
separate container
2. Remove the Unfiltered Water Chamber from the cooler
3. Pour the bicarbonate solution into the Water Chamber
4. Press the Water Dispenser until water pours from the tap
5. Cycle the bicarbonate solution through the tap and empty into the top water
chamber. Repeat this procedure several times
6. Turn on the power and leave for at least 4 hours
7. Drain all the bicarbonate solution until empty
8. Remove the Drain Plug from underneath the unit to drain any water or solution in
the cooling tank.
This is vital to ensure the solution is expelled from the cooler
9. While the Drain Plug is open, rinse the unit with 2 litres of clean water to remove any
bicarbonate solution
10. Refit the top and Water Chamber
11. Flush clean water through the unit and drain out via the tap. Tilt the unit forward
and backward to expel all water from unit

Operating Instructions
You may occasionally notice small dark particles which are bits of carbon from the filter.
These carbon particles are safe and won't impede the operation of your Chillswell.
1. Prepare Filter
•Remove Filter Cartridge from plastic cover
•Do not to lose the Filter Cartridge 0-Ring
•Soak Filter Cartridge in water for 20 minutes
•Shake filter while under water to remove dark carbon particles and any trapped air
2. Wipe Down Water Chamber
•Before connecting unit to the mains, wash the chamber parts using warm water
3. Assembly
•Ensure Drain Plug underneath unit is secure on the unit
•Place Unfiltered Water Chamber on to the Filtered Water Chamber
•Place Filter Cartridge into the Unfiltered Water Chamber. Ensure Filter Cartridge is
secure
•Place top on top of water chamber
•Turn the switch to "ON" at the back of the unit
•Empty water into the Unfiltered Water Chamber; allow water to run through to the
Filtered Water Chamber
•Once the Filtered Water Chamber is filled, push and hold the tap down until water
comes out of the tap
4. Switching On
•Once the unit is set up and connected to the mains the light will turn red when the unit
is in cooling mode
•When cooling is complete the light will turn blue.
If the water cooler has not been used for some time, unplug the unit, drain all the water
and clean with warm soapy water.
Flush the water cooler and empty all water out through the tap.

Due to manufacturing alterations, actual product and specifications may vary.
Chillswell warrants this machine to the primary buyer and subject to terms and conditions.
The warranty covers any imperfections in material or workmanship inside the initial twelve months
from date of purchase.

The warranty does not cover filter cartridge which is a consumable unless demonstrated to have
defects in material or workmanship.

1. The item has been used as per manufacturer’s instructions
2. The warranty does not cover abuse, adjustments or accidental damage
3. The warrantydoes not cover use of this item with any water other than clean chlorinated water
4. The warrantydoes not cover damage from fire, power surges or power outages.
