BC Acoustique EX PHONO-3X User manual

The oponal EX PHONO-3X module is a dedicated
pre-amplier that will allow you to connect your turntable
to your BC components. The EX PHONO is compable with
MM (Moving Magnet) and MC (Moving Coil) cartridges.
The EX PHONO-3X module is dedicated to be used with
BC Acousque EX products equipped with an « OPTIONAL
BOARD » slot. The board is compable with EX312 - EX322 -
EX332 - EX362 - EX888 - EX322.1 - EX888.1 products.

② 1x Large metal plate
-> Fit for ampliers EX322, EX888 specs
③ 1x Small metal plate
-> Fit for ampliers EX332D specs
④ 1x Stereo RCA cable
⑤ 1x 6 pin MOLEX cable - Short / POWER
-> For EX332D type ampliers
⑥ 1x 6 pin MOLEX cable - Long / POWER
-> For EX322 type ampliers

WARNING !
Before starng the installaon of the EX PHONO-3X card,
make sure that your amplier EX Series is powered o AND
disconnected from the wall power cord.
Warning, never operate inside the product if the power
cord is connected. When opened, some internal parts of
the product might cause sever injuries as they are working
at high voltage.
All other internal operaons apart the one described in this
manual about oponal module installaon, must be done
by a qualied technician.
We invite you to contact our accredited service staons if
your product has been chocked, exposed to moisture or
humidity or if any parts has been introduce inside the
product. Internal fuses replacement is also an operaon
which should be done by accredited technician.

QUICK INSTALLATION - 8 Steps:
1- Turn o the amplier (POWER).
2- Remove the power cord from the amplier.
3- To operate inside the amplier, unscrew the cabinet or
the dedicated plate witch is
located on the boom of the
product (depending on the
model of your amplier).
Also remove the metal plate
on the read side.
.
4- Set the source selector (located on the input board) to
acvate the EX PHONO-3X device instead of the
«OPTIONAL » RCA input.
5- Screw the EX PHONO-3X card to the amplier.
Phono Card With large plate With small plate
( (without front plate) for EX322/888 types for EX332D type
Use the "large" plate for EX322 & EX888 ampliers family
and the "small" plate for EX332D ampliers family.
6- Connect the power and the signal cords from EX PHONO-
3X card to the pre-amplier board and the power module.
For EX322:
Make sure the 2
cables will not
be damaged or
crushed by the
cabinet.
For EX332D:
By the trap door
located below the
amplier, connect
the two cables on
the card dedicated
for this purpose.
For EX888:
Connect the two
cables from your
EX PHONO-3X card:
«LINE OUT » &
«POWER ».
For EX888.1:
Connect the two
cables from your EX
PHONO-3X card:
«LINE OUT » &
«POWER ».
7- Close the amplier.
8- Connect external cables: HP sources (including your
turntable) and at the end, connect the power cord cable.
