- Do not use this device in a wet area or near water.

the unit before handling.

unit in a well venlated locaon.

- Take great care of the power cord and plugs electrical
connecon. In parcular, do not walk, or press the power cord,
specically at plugs, power plant and the output of the power
supply.
- Use only parts and accessories recommended by
BC Acousque.
- Be sure to use an appropriate power supply to the power jack
on the unit outlet. Especially if the device is equipped with a
ground, it is necessary to use it.
- Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when not in
use for a long me.
The CE mark indicates that this product
complies with European direcves called «low
voltage» (2006/95/EC), Electromagnec
Compability (2004/108/EC) and apply
eco-design requirements for energy products (2009/125/EC)
when the appliance is installed and used in accordance with
the user manual.
For connued compliance only BC Acousque accessories must
be used with this product and servicing must be performed by
specialized and qualied sta.
The WEEE symbol is that of the European
Union regarding the recycling of electrical and
electronic equipment. It indicates that this
product contains electrical and electronic
components that can be reused, recycled or
recovered. Therefore this product should not
be disposed of in your regular trash. Thank you

At the end of its useful life, this product should not be disposed
of with regular garbage, but returned to a collecon point for
the recycling of electrical and electronic components. This point
is emphasized by the symbol on the product, the instrucon
manual and on the packaging.
The materials can be reused in accordance with their
markings. Through reuse and recycling of raw materials or any
other form of recycling, you make an important contribuon to
environmental protecon. Your municipality can tell you where
is the point of the nearest collecon site.

Power sources
Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near a heat source. No
source of light shall be placed on the apparatus. Also avoid all
sources that could cause vibraon, dust, cold or moisture. The
recommended ambient temperature range is 5-35 °C.
The device must be installed on a stable, level surface. Do not
place the unit on an unstable surface or shelf. The unit may
fall, causing serious injury to a child or adult as well as serious
damage to the product. Do not place other equipment on top
of the unit.
Due to stray, turntables or CRT TVs magnec elds should not
be located near the unit to avoid possible interference.
The unit should be operated only from the type of power
source indicated on the label. If you are unsure of the type of
power available to you, thank you to contact your dealer or the
company responsible for the power supply in your area.
Turn o device if you do not intend to use this unit for a long me.
In case of prolonged absence from home, it is recommended to
unplug from the electrical outlet.
Make sure each cable is correctly inserted. To prevent hum or
background noise, do not mix dierent other antenna cable
with the power cord or speaker wires.
BC Acousque warrants this product parts and labor (under the
condions specied below).
BC Acousque will repair or replace (at its discreon) this
product or any defecve parts. The warranty period may vary
by country. If in doubt, contact your dealer. Always retain proof
of purchase of this product.
For warranty service, please contact the BC Acousque
authorized reseller from which you purchased this product. If
your dealer is not itself repair the product, it can be sent to
BC Acousque authorized aer-sales service. If necessary,
you will need to ship this product in its original packaging or
packaging aording an equal degree of protecon.
Proof of purchase such as an invoice stang that the product is
covered by the Guarantee must be presented for any warranty
claims.
This warranty is void if:
- The factory serial number has been altered or removed.
- This product was not purchased from an authorized
reseller BC Acousque. To conrm that the serial number
has been altered or that the product was purchased from an
authorized reseller BC Acousque, you can call BC Acousque
or distributor in your country.
- If the power supply cord or plug is damaged.
- If liquid has been spilled or if objects have fallen inside.
- If the unit has been exposed to rain or water.
- If the unit is dropped or damaged in any way.
- This warranty does not cover cosmec damage or damage
caused by or due to force majeure, an accident, mis use, abuse,
negligence, commercial use or modicaon of part any product.
- This warranty does not cover damage caused by or resulng
from misuse, a maintenance or improper installaon or repairs
made or aempted by anyone other in BC Acousque or not
BC Acousque dealer or technician approved, authorized
to carry out maintenance and repair under warranty for
BC Acousque. Any unauthorized repairs will void this warranty.
This warranty does not cover products sold «AS IS».
- REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS
WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER.
- BC ACOUSTIQUE NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR

incidental or consequenal damages or exclusions of implied

Under the amplier
① GROUND ON / OFF
Make sure that the device is not plugged into the mains
before making any connecons. It is also recommended to turn
o or disconnect all other devices associated while making
connecons to the product.
Connect the speakers to the speaker terminals on the back and
the sources of the corresponding input jacks on the back.
IMPORTANT: Make sure you have set the voltage selector ④
to suit your country: INPUT VOLTAGE: AC110 (USA) and AC230
(EUROPE).
Connect the power cord to the connector on the one hand
AC Mains product and the other to a wall outlet. Turn the
POWER switch ⑪ (page 7) to the ON posion (I).
If the unit is equipped with a standby, then press the STANDBY
buon to turn it on.
Press the input selector for the source you want to hear.
Basic instrucons - Quick starng guide
WARNING: Be sure to turn o the power on your product before
making any connecons. Similarly it is best to cut the power of
other devices you want to connect to your amplier.
Rear panel
SWITCH ANTI-HUM
Your EX-332.2 has a mains socket outlet
with a ground connecon. The use of
this type of connecon is recommended
for electrical safety reasons (including
wetlands). However somemes this connecon «mass» is the
origin of «hum» audible from the speakers in a hi- system to
solve this problem, the cancellaon of the ground connecon
is somemes sucient. To do this you have, under the device,
a switch to choose to connect or not the mass of the device to
the mains.
② TRIGGER OUTPUT
This 3.5 mm Jack mono output is used to acvate or desacvate
remotely auxiliary devices connected to the amplier. When
the unit is turned on, the output is switched to 12V. When the
unit is turned o, the trigger output is 0V.
③ PHASE TESTER
The EX Series products feature 3-pins mains power cord. These
3-pins plugs are respecvely the Ground, which is located in the
center of the outlet, the Neutral, it is an electrical reference,
and nally the Hot. The laer is that which "handles" the
alternang voltage.
According to the wiring of the mul-socket and a sense of
connecon to the outlet, the respecve posion of the Neutral
and Hot out will change, according to this posion a residual
voltage may appear on the cabinet of the device. This tension
can aect the result of listening to your hi- system.
In order to choose the most appropriate direcon connecon
(one that will induce the lowest residual voltage on the
cabinet), some EX Series products have a Test device at the rear
panel of the product named: "Test Phase".
To test it is necessary to connect the device to the mains, and
then use your nger to touch the metal ring located around the
central lamp.
If the lamp lights it means that the residual voltage of the
cabinet is high. You will therefore then reverse the connecon
of the outlet of the device (careful, the light intensity is low).
If the light remains o when you touch the ring around the
central lamp, it means that the device is connected in the best
way.
Notes:
- To choose the direcon of the outlet connecon it is necessary
to have a Schuko socket because the Ground is oset on the
sides.
- When the test is performed by touching the ring, make sure
not to touch any other part of the product which would have
the eect of pung to pair and thus invalidate the test.

④ INPUT VOLTAGE
IMPORTANT: Before turning on your amplier, check that you
have posioned the voltage selector based on your geographic
locaon: AC110V (USA, etc ...) and AC230V (EU, etc ...).
Note: The appropriate fuse is the same (T10AL) for both
voltages sectors.
Example posion voltage selector:
220V for Europe 110V for USA
Same fuse T10AL fo 230V and 110V
⑤ AC MAIN INPUT
Once all connecons to the stereo system, plug the power cable
into an outlet and turn the unit on. Your EX-332.2 is now ready
for use.
⑥ OPTIONAL BOARD CARD
This slot allows you to add, when you want, one of the Oponal
cards for adding one more source, like a digital card that lets
you listen to music from a computer.
⑦ LOUDSEPAKER TERMINALS
Connect the speaker to the terminals marked RIGHT "+ R" and
"R -" ensuring that "R +" is connected to the "+" terminal of the
enclosure and "R -" is connected to the terminal "- "the same
enclosure. Connect the LEFT speaker to the terminals marked
"L +" and "L -" by doing the same.
Make sure that no wires are not insulated can bypass the
speaker outputs. Make sure that the speaker terminals are ght
enough to ensure a good electrical connecon. If the terminal
screws are not ght enough, the sound quality may be aected.
Use only dedicated wire to the speaker (a secon of 1.5 mm² or
more is recommended especially if the cable length is greater
than 3m).
Important Note: Check the impedance of your speakers.
When using a pair of speakers, you can use speakers with an
impedance of between 4 and 8 ohms.
⑧ OPTION (RCA INPUT)
Without Oponal card, this input works as a LINE input. If you
use an Oponal Card, this RCA input will be disabled in favor, for
example, of the DAC card allowing you to listen to your music
from your Smartphone or computer via USB slot. In that case,
when you are selecng the Opon’s source buon (in front
panel), you can listen to music from your computer or
Smartphone (via usb cord).
Connecons and uses
⑨ & ⑪ LINE 1 and LINE 2 (RCA INPUTS)
The LINE 1 and 2 inputs are for connecng a "line level" source
to your amplier. It is designed to receive an "analog" signal
(as opposed to "digital" signal). To connect your source we
are using a tradional "RCA" cable, they are usually idened
by a color code "RED" to the RIGHT and "WHITE" to the LEFT
channel.
LINE 2 input has an opon "AV BYPASS"
AV BYPASS (ON/OFF)
The LINE 2 input has an opon "AV BYPASS" which takes you
through the amplier without using amplicaon part. This is
very useful if you wants, for example, connect your speakers
directly on another AV amplier output.
⑩ & ⑫ XLR CONNECTIONS
XLR connecons (INPUTS ⑩ and ⑫ or OUTPUTS ⑲) allow
the use of symmetric links. This type of cables guarantees
greater immunity to electromagnec interference screw. Their
use is recommended in parcular when the distance between
the devices is important.
⑬ INPUT LINE 3 (RCA input - Phono MM)
The LINE 3 input is for connecng a turntable. Most turntables
have outputs in the "RCA" format but whose signal is not not
compable with the "line inputs" of the ampliers.
In order to be able to use a turntable, it is necessary to use a
compable "phono preamplier" with the used cell.
The EX-332.2 built-in phono preamplier is compable with
MM (Moving Magnet) cells.
⑭ MASS SOCKET
For connecng your turntable do not forget to connect the
ground wire of your turntable to this ground screw in order to
avoid the creaon of noise issues.
⑮ PH BYPASS (ON/OFF) - LINE 3 input
The Line 3 input is for connecng a turntable or a line level
source. Set the PH BYPASS to ON when you connect your
turntable and on OFF if you connect another source such as a
CD player.
⑯ WIRELESS ANTENNA
This connector is for receiving a WIRELESS antenna. The
supplied antenna is mounted directly to the back of
the unit. The WIRELESS range is limited to few meters
(depending on the nature of the obstacles located between
the EX-332.2’s antenna and your WIRELESS source).
It is possible to obtain an oponal "WIRELESS long-range"
antenna. It consists of a cable to shiing the antenna.
Moreover, this antenna is larger.

⑰ MODE
The MODE switch lets you choose between stereo or mono
operaon.
Stereo mode posion: The EX-332.2 behaves like a built-in
stereo "classic" amplier. It is in this posion it is necessary to
use the EX-332.2 to perform a bi-amplicaon. Then, using a
second amplier that can connect to the pre-out outputs
(XLR ⑲ or RCA ⑳) le and right. The le and right speakers
should be connected respecvely to the and
speaker outputs.
Mono mode posion: In this conguraon, the output stages
of the amplier are "bridged" to increase the output power. In
this conguraon, the le channel is amplied by the EX-332.2.
It is therefore necessary to complete your installaon with an
amplier that will power the right channel. Now you must
connect the pre-out output line (XLR ⑲ or RCA ⑳) from the
EX-332.2 to this amplier. It is welcome to choose a power am-
plier and equivalent gain device which features the same kind
of amplicaon as the EX-332.2.
The le speaker should be connected to the speaker outputs
and . The right speaker is connected
to the mono outputs of the second amplier.
⑱ DIGITAL INPUT - DAC - COAXIAL and OPTICAL INPUTS
The EX-332.2 has an integrated digital-to-analog converter.
Consequently, it is possible to plug it digital source (such as
most television screens).
In order to ensure compability with all types of exisng digital
connectors, the EX-332.2 has opcal and coaxial plugs.
However, this entry is unique. It is not possible to listen only one
device at a me. The opcal input will prevail over the coaxial
input in case you have wired both inputs.
Connecons and uses
⑲ XLR CONNECTIONS (Pre-OUT)
XLR OUTPUTS connecons allow the use of symmetric
links. This type of cables guarantees greater immunity to
electromagnec interference screw. Their use is recommended
in parcular when the distance between the devices is
important.
⑳ PRE OUT (RCA output)
This output allows you to use the amplier as a preamplier and
Therefore connect a power amplier to upgrade the system.
SUBWOOFER OUTPUTS (2)
These two RCA outputs are idencal. They correspond to the
sum of the le and right channels (mono). They are intended
to be connected to an oponal subwoofer. It is not necessary to
use these two outputs that are equivalent. The second output
is dedicated to the use of a second subwoofer.

① PHONE - HEADPHONES OUTPUT
Make sure the volume control is turned down before
connecng or disconnecng headphones. Listening at high
levels can cause permanent hearing damage.
This taken Jack size 6.35 mm allows connecon of stereo
headphones. It is advisable to use a listener with an impedance
between 32 and 600 ohm headphones.
When the headset is connected, the output to the speakers are
then cut.
② STANDBY ON (SLEEP MODE)
This buon allows you to turn the device in Sleep mode to
conserve energy while not performing his primary funcon or
to resume the device in acve mode.
③ GAIN
This command allows you to lower the overall gain (-10dB)
on all of your sources. This allows you to adjust the neness
of the volume adjustment depending on the sensivity of your
speakers and your listening level.

Front panel - Connecons and uses
④ DIRECT
If this funcon is acvated (light signal acve), then
the BASS and TREBLE funcons are disabled. The
purpose of this funcon is to shut down the
electronic circuit’s tone control and balance in order to best
preserve the purity of the music signal.
⑤ BASS and TREBLE
The buon "BASS" seng can act on the relave level of low
frequencies to alter the tonal balance of the sound to suit your room
acouscs and your tastes. The "TREBLE" buon for meanwhile
high frequencies. When these buons are in the middle
posion, it means that the tonal balance is not changed. The
adjustable range is ± 5 dB.
+5 decibels knob turned in the direcon of clockwise and
- 5 decibels knob turned anclockwise.
Tone Controls: These funcons only aects music
signals output from the speaker outputs and the LINE OUT
(RCA). They are not acve on the REC output (for recording the
original signals).
⑥ VOLUME
This knob adjusts the output volume of the amplier at the
speaker outputs.
⑦ SOURCE SELECTOR
These buons select the acve input of the amplier
and the signal sent to the speakers, to headphones and
Preamp output and REC LINE. The buons on the remote
control are idencal to those buons. Once the
selected buon, the integrated LED corresponding
entry under the parcular input buon will turn white.
LINE 1, 2 and 3 (INPUTS): These buons are used to select
sources present on XLR (balanced) and RCA inputs (line level)
with the same name located on the rear panel of the amplier.
DAC - OPTIC & COAXIAL INPUTS: This buon acvates the
digital input on the back of the amplier. It allows listening to
the digital source connected to the amplier with the integrated
digital-to-analog converter.
Note: You can leave connect two sources (one on the Opcal
input, and the other on the Coaxial input) and acvate the one
that suits you the best by pressing the DAC buon.
OPTION:
Without Oponal card: This buon selects the
listening to a 4th source you have connected to the RCA OPTION
connectors (rear panel).
With Oponal card: This buon allows you to select
the source to play on your opon card. (See noce
of the said oponcard). Example of opon card:
EX-DAC-U-3X, a DAC card allowing you to listen to your music
from your Smartphone and your computer thru an USB slot.
⑧ LINE 2 / AV BYPASS
The LINE 2 input has an opon "AV BYPASS" which takes you
through the amplier without using amplicaon part. This is
very useful if you wants, for example, connect your speakers
directly on another AV amplier output.
⑨ LINE 3 / (RCA INPUT - Phono MM)
The LINE 3 input is for connecng a turntable. Most turntables
have RCA outputs format but whose signal is not compable
with the "line inputs" of the ampliers.
In order to be able to use a turntable, it is necessary to use a
compable "phono preamplier" with the used cell.
The EX-332.2 has a MM built-in Phono preamplier on the
back of the device. Thus, if you do not use a turntable, set the
selector PH PHONO switch to OFF at the back of the unit to
connect a other source on this LINE 3 input, such as a CD player
(Line level).
⑩ WIRELESS ANTENNA
This connector is for receiving a WIRELESS antenna.
The supplied antenna is mounted directly to the back of the
unit. The WIRELESS range is limited to few meters (depending
on the nature of the obstacles located between the EX332.2’s
antenna and your WIRELESS source).
It is possible to obtain an oponal "WIRELESS long-range"
antenna. It consists of a cable to shiing the antenna.
Moreover, this antenna is larger.
⑪ POWER - ON (I) / OFF (0) BUTTON
This switch allows shutdown or operaon of the amplier.
WIRELESS device playback
The EX-332.2 oers the possibility to listen wirelessly to music
played by WIRELESS devices like Smartphones. These devices
must be paired in order to communicate.
Note: You also need to run your other WIRELESS device to pair
to the EX-332.2.
PARING YOUR WIRELESS DEVICE
1 - On the front of the EX-332.2, repeatedly press the "INPUT"
buon to select "WIRELESS" mode. Otherwise, press the buon
DAC on the remote.
2 - Turn on WIRELESS communicaon on the other WIRELESS
device (your smartphone, tablet ...).
Your device should automacally receive the EX-332.2
WIRELESS signal.
3 - Select the device named "BC-EX332" on your WIRELESS
device to connect the stereo system.
If you have not managed to connect or see the EX-332.2 on the
screen of your device, you have to start pairing again (step 1).
Note: If another WIRELESS device had already managed to
connect the EX-332.2 will automacally try to reconnect to the
same device.

The amplier EX-332.2 comes with an RC-EX2v2 remote
control. It was designed to be both compable with your
amplier but also the possible devices BC Acousque (including
CD players EX series) range.
① POWER: This buon allows you to pause or resume
from standby dierent electronic devices
BC Acousque with this feature.
② INFO: The display panel on the product provides
informaon on the CD.
③ RANDOM: To play a random track on CD player.
④ 1…9.0: Keypad / Track selecon
⑤ A-B : Input (A) an output (B) selectors to play
repeatedly this selecon from a track.
⑥ PAVE CONTROL:
: 9 seconds reward jump (CD/USB)
: Eject
: 9 seconds forward in the track (CD/USB)
y: Skip to the previous track / le
yy/: Pause / Play
y: Skip to the next track / le
⑦ TIME: Displays the remaining me of the current track.
⑧ CD/USB: source selecon.
⑨ SOURCES: LINE 1 - LINE 2 - LINE 3 - DAC - OPTION
Line 2: Switch between LINE 2 and ByPass.
DAC: Switch betwwen Coaxiale, Opque et Wireless.
⑩ OPTION: Selects the source from your opon card.
If there is no opon card, it will serve LINE input.
⑪ GAIN: This command allows you to lower the overall
gain (-10dB) on all your sources to adjust the neness
of the volume.
⑫ REPEAT: Repeang the current track or all the tracks.
⑬ VOL+ / VOL- : Keys to increase or decrease the volume.
⑭ STOP: Stop the ⑫ Repeat funcon.
⑮ PROG: In CD mode, or USB, use this buon to enter
playback mode Programmed device. To memorize the
order of tracks to listen to, press "PROG" then the
number of the desired track. Repeat unl the end of
your program, then press the "Play / Pause" buon to
start listening.

acvate the baery.

Here you will nd a number of fault descripon and possible
soluons we invite you to read in order to ensure the possibility
of an actual breakdown of your device.
The unit does not turn on
- Make sure the power cord is properly connected.
- Make sure the plug is fully inserted into the wall outlet and
there is power.
- Make sure the camera is turned on.
- Check the fuse in the mains plug or adapter if necessary.
There is no sound
- Make sure the unit is not in standby mode.
- Check that the source component is connected properly.
- Make sure you have selected the appropriate source
- Make sure your speakers are properly connected.
One channel no sound
- Make sure the balance control is in the correct posion.
- Check the speaker connecons.
- Check interconnects.
A loud humming or buzzing is noceable
- Make sure that interconnect cable is loose or defecve.
- Make sure your tape deck or turntable is not too close to the
amplier.
- Check turntable or tonearm to capture an ground fault or a
faulty connecon.
The bass is weak or the stereo image is diuse
Make sure the speakers are not in phase.
The sound is distorted
Make sure that the control sengs of volume or tone is not too
high.
The remote control does not work
- Check that the baeries have not expired.
- Make sure nothing is blocking the remote sensor.
WIRELESS - The sound stops or there is noise
If a device such as a microwave oven or wi- transmier
generates electromagnec waves near the 2.4 GHz band, it can
aect the connecon or broadcast quality. In this case, install
the EX-332.2 at a greater distance from this unit.
WIRELESS - The transmission is interrupted
- The device connected to the EX-332.2 is perhaps too far. The
approximate distance transmission WIRELESS is about 10m
without obstacles.
- Make sure there are no obstacles between the EX-332.2 and
your WIRELESS device.
Digital-to-analog converter
The interface is entrusted to a Cirrus Logic CS8416 chip and the
digital-analog conversion is supported by a PCM1973 circuit
from Texas Instrument. The DAC is compable with digital
signals up to 24bits/96kHz from coaxial and opcal inputs.
