1. Open and lay out contents of package. You will notice each piece is labeled
with a number, allowing you to simply match up the pieces using the numbers
and guide lines marked on the wood (Picture 1).
2. Start by choosing one of the side pieces ( the one with a rounded corner) and
lay it marking side up. Be sure that the surface you assemble on is clean, as
you’re placing your finished exterior face down, and we wouldn’t want it to get
scratched!
3. Starting with the piece labeled ‘1’, screw this into the side piece using the
screws and square screwdriver ‘bit’ provided (Picture 2).
Note - You can either use a manual screwdriver which takes different bits, or an impact
driver or drill. Be careful not to over screw.
4. Match the pieces as shown in the picture below. We recommend fixing pieces 1 & 7
first, ensuring they’re flush to the top and bottom edge, and then working your way
up or down from there.
5. Once the first side piece is secured, have the other side piece laying with the pencil
marks up, and with the corners matching. Carefully flip the bookcase over onto the
2nd side piece (We recommend 2 people) - (Picture 3).
6. Align the side piece with the middle pieces and begin screwing ensuring all pieces
are flush and the lines / numbers match (Picture 3 & 4).
7. Once all the numbered pieces are screwed into the 2nd side piece, go ahead and
screw the middle screws (circled in picture to the left)
8. Once all pieces are screwed together, you should be able to
flip it over onto its feet as shown on the right (Picture 5).
9. Use wall brackets provided to fix to skirting board / wall studs
to ensure the product can’t topple if climbed or knocked
(Picture 6).
