STAND ASSEMBLY
Please follow the below instruction for the construction of
you cot stand.

The correct use and maintenance of your
Shnuggle Basket & Carrycot Stand will
ensure it gives long and trouble free use.
When somebody else is using your stand,
ensure they also know how to use it.

Only use this stand with Shnuggle Basket or
apas Carrycots conforming with the following
dimensions:

• Unpack all the parts and identify them
against the ttings and components lists
• Do not discard any packaging until you
are sure you have all parts and the pack
of ttings.
• If any parts are missing or damaged
contact us
• Read the instructions thoroughly before
attempting to construct the stand
• Follow each stage of construction step-
by-step.

•• WARNING:WARNING: Use only on a rm ground
which is horizontal, level & dry
•• WARNING:WARNING: Do not let other children play
unattended near the basket and stand
•• WARNING:WARNING: Do not use if any part is
broken, torn or missing.
• When the stand is not in use it must be
folded and put away out of the reach of
other children.
• Carelessness causes re. Never leave
your basket close to any source of heat.
• Do not attach anything which may aect
the stability of your basket stand. To avoid
danger of suocation, keep all plastic
packaging away from other children.
• The stand can be cleaned with a damp
cloth, never use bleach or harsh abrasives.

1. Open Shnuggle air liner packaging. Turn
the liner inside out and place inside the
Shnuggle basket, ensuring the handles
are placed through the gaps in material.
2. Open Bears Of Hope Linen Pack. Take
the liner and turn it inside out. The liner
will then be placed over the top of the
Shnuggle liner.

3. Remove plastic from mattress, place
tted sheet on it and place inside the
Shnuggle.
4. Place doona inside Shnuggle and tuck in
under mattress.
5. Assemble embroidered hood, as per
instructions located on page 10.
6. Assemble the stand, as per instructions
provided on pages 4-6.

BASKET HOOD ASSEMBLY
SUPPLIED:SUPPLIED: Folding Hood, 2 x Plastic Ribbing, 2 x Screws, 2
x Wing Nuts, 4 x Spacers.
•• STEP 1:STEP 1: On the under side of the hood
you will nd 2 small sleeves where the
plastic ribbing is to be inserted.
•• STEP 2:STEP 2: Slide one piece of the plastic
ribbing through sleeve until it reaches
the other side of the hood. Repeat with
second piece or ribbing (FIG.1 & FIG 2)
•• STEP 3:STEP 3: Take the screw and spacer and
push outwards (from inside to outside)
through the shnuggle near shnuggle
handle. (FIG.3)
•• STEP 4:STEP 4: Once both pieces of ribbing
have been inserted and pulled through,
match up the screw holes. Place the two
pieces of plastic ribbing over the screws
you have just inserted. (FIG.2 & FIG 4)
•• STEP 5:STEP 5: Slide on second spacer and
screw the wing nut into place. Tighten as
desired. Repeat on other side. (FIG.5)
•• STEP 6:STEP 6: Bring both elastic loops down
and secure them over the wing nut and
screw. (FIG.5)
•• STEP 7:STEP 7: Tie to cotton bumper up over the
wing nut and screw. (FIG.6)
•• STEP 8:STEP 8: Pull elastic hood over the back
of the shnuggle.

BASKET & LINEN ASSEMBLY
1. Remove plastic from mattress, place
tted sheet on it and place inside the
Shnuggle.
2. Take the silver insulation & cooling pad
from the blue Cuddle Cot box. Place the
silver insulation on top of the mattress.
Use double thickness and place the
silver side upwards.

3. Place the cooling pad on top of the
silver insulation in the basket. Ensure
the two hoses which lead from the pad
are exposed and pushed through the
basket.
A thin sheet can be used to cover the
cooling pad. (Thin sheet not provided by
Bears Of Hope)
5. Place Bears Of Hope doona into the
Shnuggle, ready for use.
6. Assemble embroidered hood, as per
instructions located on page 10.
7. Assemble the stand, as per instructions
provided on pages 4-6.
4. Install the basket lining as follows:
• Open Shnuggle air liner packaging.
Turn the liner inside out and place
inside the Shnuggle basket, ensuring
the handles are placed through the
gaps in material.
• From the Bears Of Hope Linen Pack;
take the liner and turn it inside out.
The liner will then be placed over
the top of the Shnuggle liner and
mattress. * Please refer to the Cuddle Cot Instruction Booklet inside
the Blue Box for how to operate the cooling system.
