IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using any electric products, especially when children are present,
basic safety precautions should always be followed.
DANGER - To reduce the risk of electric shock:
1. Do not reach for the product if it has fallen into water. Unplug it
immediately from wall power.
2. Do not use while bathing in a shower or bathtub.
3. Do not place or store the product where it can fall or be pulled into a
bathtub or sink. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquids.
4. Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet immediately after using.
5. Always unplug the product before cleaning.
WARNING - To reduce the risk of burns, re, electric shock, or injury to
persons:
1. This product should never be left unattended when plugged in.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by, on, or
near children or dependents.
3. Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual.
Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
4. Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord, if the plug is
not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or if it has
been dropped into water. Return the product to a service center for
examination and repair.
5. Keep the product’s power cord away from heated surfaces.
6. Never operate the product with the air openings blocked or while it is
placed on a soft surface which may block the air openings, such as a
bed or sofa. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and similar materials.
7. Never drop or insert any objects into any of the product’s openings.
8. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are
being used or where oxygen is being administered.
9. This product is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible
for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the product.

10. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this product has a polarized plug
(one prong is wider than the other). This plug only ts into a polarized
outlet in one orientation. In the event the plug does not t fully into
the outlet, reverse the plug’s orientation. In the event it still does not
t, contact a qualied electrician to install a proper outlet. Do not
attempt to modify the plug in any way.
11. If the product’s power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, the service agent or similarly qualied persons in order
to avoid any further hazard.
12. Always attach the power cord to the product rst before inserting the
cord’s plug into the outlet. To disconnect, rst turn all the product’s
controls to“o,” then remove the plug from the outlet.
13. Do not use this product with damaged or broken attachment guide
combs, as this may cause facial injuries.

Attaching The Guide Combs
Align each comb onto the blades, then press down on
the nameplate until you hear a snap.
Removing The Guide Combs
From underneath, lift up each comb’s tab to release
from the blades.
Note:
1. Always start with the largest guide comb, then use shorter combs if a
shorter length is desired.
2. Cut only a small amount until you become accustomed to how long each
guide comb leaves the hair.
3. Cut slowly and smoothly. Do not force the clippers through the hair.
4. When turning the clippers on or o, a ‘DADA’ noise and accompanying
heat and vibration will be produced. This is normal and does not impact
operation.

Aligning the Clipper Blades
The blades of each cutter are aligned before leaving the factory. Collision
or impact during transportation may dislocate the blades, or the blades
may become unaligned or in need of maintenance after a long period
of use. Follow the instructions below to conrm the cutter blades are
correctly aligned.
1. Position the taper lever to the closest cut position and loosen the
blade screws.
2. The movable cutter should be approximately 0.45-0.88mm back from
the xed cutter.
3. The leftmost tooth blade of the xed cutter must cover the rst small
tooth blade of the movable cutter.
4. The rightmost tooth blade of the xed cutter must be touching the
big tooth blade of the movable cutter.
Note: If blade alignment is incorrect, add a few drops of clipper oil to the
blades, turn the clippers “ON” for a few moments, then turn “OFF” and unplug.
Loosen the screws slightly and adjust. Tighten the screws after the blades
have been aligned. Other than blades, these clippers have no user-serviceable
parts.
Oil
The clipper blades should be oiled every few haircuts. Simply place a
few drops of clipper oil on the teeth of the blades. Do not use hair oil,
grease or any oil mixed with kerosene or any solvent. Please use included
clipper oil or purchase natural clipper oil that doesn’t contain solvents.
Power Screw
Your clippers have a power screw to adjust voltage.
This screw is set to a position for a 120V voltage rating
before leaving the factory. However, if the voltage in
your home or current location is lower, you may need
to readjust this screw. To adjust for the dierence
in voltage power, turn the clippers on and use a
screwdriver to turn the power screw in a clockwise
direction until you hear a noise. Next, slowly turn the
power screw in a counterclockwise direction and stop
just as the noise stops. This will set to clippers to the
maximum power setting available in your home or
current location.
Caring for the Power Cord
The power cord should not be used to pull or support the clippers. Since
freedom of movement needs to be maintained, care should be used
to keep the cord untwisted and unobstructed. When stored, the cord
should be coiled and the haircut kit placed in its original box, away from
children.
For clippers with a polarized plug: The clippers have a polarized
plug (one prong is wider than the other) to reduce the risk of electric
shock. This plug ts into polarized outlets in only one orientation. In
the event the plug does not t fully in the outlet, reverse the plug’s
orientation. Do not modify the plug in any way.

Taper Lever
These clippers are equipped with an adjustable taper lever. The taper
lever is conveniently located near the user's thumb (if right-handed)
so it can be easily adjusted while the clippers are held. The taper lever
adds versatility to the clippers, allowing gradual changes in closeness
of cutting without using the guide comb. When the lever is in the
uppermost position, pushing the lever downward gradually increases
the cutting length. The taper lever will also extend the blades longevity
since a dierent cutting edge is used in each setting.

Push or pull the taper lever to adjust
the length of the hair being cut.
In addition, if extremely heavy haircutting has jammed the cutters,
adjusting the taper lever will help remove hair that has become wedged
between the two cutters without having to remove them. While the
clippers are running, rapidly move the lever from“closest cut” to“longest
cut” a few times. Doing this each time cutting is nished will keep the
cutters and blades clean of cut hair.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
• After each use, wipe the clippers with a clean cloth and use a little
brush to clean away hair clippings and dirt. Finally, apply some drops
of oil onto the blades.
• Do not immerse the clippers in water.
• Clippers should be kept in a dry and ventilated place, in order to
prolong the product’s lifespan.
• Wipe the clippers using only soft or slightly damp cloths. Never use
solvents or scouring agents.
• The cutting blades can be cleaned with a hygienic spray. Do not use
any other cleaning agents.
• If cutting performance deteriorates after long use despite regular cleaning
and oiling, the cutting blades should be replaced.
• Always use the blade protective cover when the clippers are not in use.
This will help prevent accidental damage and blade dulling.

Disposal
Disposal of the Appliance
Under no circumstances should you dispose of the appliance
in normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European
Directive 2012/19/EU.
Dispose of the appliance via an approved disposal company or your
municipal waste facility. Please observe currently applicable regulations.
Please contact your waste disposal center if you need any further
information.
The appliance’s packaging is made from environmentally
friendly material and can be disposed of at your local
recycling plant.
