Safety
If you have sensitive skin, are taking a dermatologist-related medication,
undergoing dermatologist-related treatment, are pregnant or have a
pre-existing medical condition, please consult your doctor before using
McSteamy Essential Oil Facial Steamer.
McSteamy is only meant for domestic or private use.
Beauty Buddy can’t be held responsible for damage
caused by using this product incorrectly.

undamaged before using.
Don’t shake or handle the product while it is being used.

rejuvenate and revitalise your skin and soul. The
therapeutic steam hydrates and softens your skin's
surface, while detoxifying your pores of impurities and
dead skin cells.
After just one session with McSteamy, your pores will be
unclogged and your skin will feel renewed and refreshed.
Better yet, your skin will now be more receptive to your
other skincare treatments, which will revel in the open
pores they have to work with.
To take your spa day to the next level, use McSteamy with
an Essential Oil to nourish your skin and soul.

Before You Steam
Remove the water tank and unscrew the plug.
Pour in the distilled water (not tap water) to at least three
quarters high. This will last you a full 15 minute
detoxifying session.
Close the water tank and fasten the plug. Then place it
back into the product.
Wash your face with a gentle cleanser before using
McSteamy. This will make your detoxifying session even
more effective.
Adjust the nozzle to the height that is best for you. Aim
the nozzle at the height of your chin, to ensure your full
face receives the steam treatment.
Make sure to only fill McSteamy with distilled water. Tap water
can damage the device through build-up of limescale. Don’t
use any oils, herbs or any other liquid outside of distilled
water in the water tank.

Pro tip: Select your choice of Beauty Buddy Essential Oil
to add an extra element to your detoxifying session. Put a
few drops into the Essential Oil Attachment and then
place over the nozzle.
Remember, do not use the essential oils with the steamer
when around children or animals, as the oils may be harmful
to them.
Don’t forget to also only adjust the nozzle when the steamer
is off, to avoid risks of burns or other injuries.

Instructions
With your McSteamy on a flat, secure surface (not on a
towel or mat), plug in the power cord and press the
Power button. The steamer will start to heat the distilled
water in the tank. This will take around 30 seconds to one
minute.
Once the water is heated, steam made of nano-sized
water molecules will begin to rise out from the nozzle.
It is recommended to wait another minute before starting
your detoxifying session, so you get the full spa
experience.
Close your eyes and move your face towards McSteamy
Now that the prep work is complete, you’re ready to start
your at-home spa detoxifying session.
We recommend using McSteamy no more than 15 minutes a
day, two to three times a week. If you have sensitive skin, use
McSteamy only once a week for the first month, so you can
adjust to the detoxifying sessions.
Make sure you remain 20cm away from the nozzle at
all times to avoid risk of burns or other injuries.

After Use Care
When the water in the tank runs out, or you have reached 15
minutes, it’s time to (sadly) end your detoxifying session.
Turn off McSteamy and unplug the power cord.
Wash your face and apply a face cream or mask. Their effects
will be enhanced with your open and cleansed pores.
You can also use a Microdermabrasion Kit at this time to
remove blackheads and unclog pores.
Let your McSteamy cool down for at least 10 minutes before
cleaning.

Product Care
Caring for your McSteamy
Taking good care of your McSteamy will ensure it lives a long
and happy life.
Make sure you only use distilled water with McSteamy, to
avoid the buildup of limescale.
After every use, wait for the steamer to cool down. Then
empty and clean the water tank, making sure to remove any
grease or residue.
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the nozzle and base of
the steamer. Wipe dry after cleaning.
Disposal
Please consider the environment before disposing of this
product. You can seek guidance from your local government
officials for advice on how best to dispose of this product.

Warranty
The Beauty Buddy McSteamy is warranted to be free of manufacturer’s
defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the date of
purchase. Damage or wear resulting from an accident, misuse, abuse,
commercial use or unauthorised adjustment and/or repair are not
covered under this warranty.
Should this product require warranty service (or replacement at our
discretion), please contact customer service. Proof of purchase is
required. Products returned without prior authorisation from Beauty
Buddy will not be accepted and the sender will not receive a refund or
replacement.
This warranty stipulates uninterrupted 12 month use of the item from
the date of purchase. In the event that the item is faulty within the 12
month warranty period, the customer has the right to return the item to
Beauty Buddy for a resolution in the form of a refund if less than 6
months from purchase or an account credit if after, replacement or
fixing the faulty item at the discretion of Beauty Buddy. Please note that
the replacement item will not be subject to a new 12 month warranty
period, it will just provide cover for the remaining months left in the
warranty of the original item.
There are no express warranties except as listed above. This warranty
gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary
from state to state.
Please do not return this product to the retailer. Contact us directly for
warranty service.
