Operating Instructions
This appliance is intended for household use only.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in
a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT attempt to defeat this safety feature. For U.S. residents only:
In the event of an unusual circumstance such as immersion, the protective device will not allow the dryer to
operate. Periodically check the safety plug to verify it is in proper working order. Plug the appliance into an
electrical outlet and press the TEST button. The dryer should stop immediately. To resume operation, press
the RESET button.

and without frizz.
STYLING TIPS
• Do not concentrate airflow on any one area for an extended period of time.
• When drying is complete, wait for the appliance to cool before storing. Do not wrap the cord around the
dryer. Use the practical Hanging Ring. This keeps the cord from tangling and wearing
prematurely.
VOLUMIZING FINGER DIFFUSER
The Volumizing Finger Diffuser will soften the airflow from the hair dryer. To use, push the diffuser onto
the end of the airflow nozzle. Allow diffuser fingers to run gently over the scalp while drying. To clean
the diffuser, remove it from the dryer and wash it in warm, soapy water and rinse. Allow diffuser to dry
completely before reattaching to dryer.
USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is equipped with a thermostat that may cycle OFF or cause the heaters to turn off if the
temperature exceeds comfort level due to partially blocked air inlet or outlet openings. In the event that the
appliance stops or releases only cool air during use, turn off the switches and allow the appliance to cool
down, at which time the thermostat will automatically reset. During use, DO NOT block the air openings.
When using this appliance near water (e.g. bathrooms), the use of an electrical outlet protected by a Ground
Fault Circuit Interrupter is recommended.
MAINTENANCE
Your appliance is virtually maintenance-free. No lubrication is needed. Keep heated surfaces clean and free
of dust, dirt, and hair spray. If cleaning becomes necessary, unplug the appliance from the power source and
wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. If the cord becomes twisted, untwist prior to use.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Dust and lint can be removed from air intake openings with a small brush or vacuum cleaner brush
attachment. DO NOT allow moisture or additional debris to enter the unit while cleaning.
WARNING: If any malfunction occurs, do not attempt to repair it. This appliance has no user-serviceable
parts.
STORAGE
Unplug appliance when not in use.
Allow appliance to cool and store out of reach of children in a safe, dry location. Never wrap the cord
around the appliance since this will cause the cord to wear prematurely and break. Handle cord carefully
for longer life and avoid jerking, bending sharply, twisting, or straining cord, especially at plug connections.

DIFUSOR CON DEDOS PARA DAR VOLUMEN

How to Get the Look
1. PREP
Gently towel-dry hair to remove excess water. Apply Bed Head®On the Rebound®Curl Recall Cream to
damp hair for maximum curl retention.
2. STYLE
Set your Bed Head®dryer to the highest speed and heat and ip hair forward to dry the under-layers rst. When hair
is almost completely dry, lower the heat and speed settings and attach the diffuser attachment to begin styling hair as
desired. Run its ngers through the hair for denition and added texture.
3. FINISH
Push the Cool Shot Button to lock in the style.

If your dryer unexpectedly stops, or if it is not blowing hot air, turn it off,
unplug it and CLEAN THE LINT FILTER while waiting 5 minutes for
the dryer to cool down. Then press the red ”reset” button on the ALCI
safety plug until it clicks. Your dryer should resume operation.
