This section includes safety information that will
help protection from risks of personal injuries
or materialistic damages. Failure to follow
these instructions shall cause any warranty and
reliability commitment to become void.
General safety
• Neverplacethemachineonacarpet-covered
floor,otherwise,lackofairflowbeneath
themachinemaycauseelectricalpartsto
overheat.Thiswillcauseproblemswithyour
machine.
• Ifthepowercableormainsplugisdamaged,
youmustcallAuthorisedServiceAgentfor
repair.
• Theproductshouldnotbepluggedinduring
installation,maintenanceandrepairworks.
Suchworksshouldalwaysbemadebythe
technicalservice.Manufacturershallnot
beheldresponsiblefordamagesarising
fromprocessescarriedoutbyunauthorised
persons.
• Connecttheproducttoagroundedoutlet
protectedbyafuseofsuitablecapacityas
statedinthetechnicalspecificationstable.
• Operateyourproductattemperatures
between+5°Cand+35°C.
• Donotuseelectricaldevicesintheproduct.
• Donotconnecttheairexitoftheproduct
tothechimneyholeswhichareusedforthe
exhaustfumesofthedevicesoperatingwith
gasorothertypesoffuel.
• Youmustprovideenoughventilationin
ordertopreventgasesexitingfromdevices
operatingwithothertypesoffuelsincluding
thenakedflamefromaccumulatinginthe
roomduetothebackfireeffect.
• Alwayscleanthelintfilterbeforeoraftereach
loading.
• Neveroperateyourdryerwithoutthelintfilter
installed.
• Donotallowfibre,dustanddirtaccumulation
aroundtheexhaustexitandatadjacent
areas.
• Powercableplugmustbewithineasyreach
afterinstallation.
• Donotuseextensioncords,multi-plugs
oradaptorstoconnectthedryertopower
supplyinordertodecreasetheriskofelectric
shock.
• Donotmakeanychangesontheplug
suppliedwiththeproduct.Ifitisnot
compatiblewiththesocket,haveaqualified
electricianchangethesocketwithasuitable
one.
• Itemscleanedorwashedwithgasoil/fueloil,
dry-laundrysolventsandothercombustible
orexplosivematerialsaswellastheitems
thatarecontaminatedorspottedwithsuch
materialsshouldnotbedriedintheproduct
sincetheyemitflammableorexplosivevapor.
• Donotdryitemscleanedwithindustrial
chemicalsinthedryer.
• Donotdryunwasheditemsinthedryer.
• Itemssoiledwithcookingoils,acetone,
alcohol,fueloil,kerosene,stainremover,
turpentine,paraffinandparaffinremovers
mustbewashedinhotwaterwithplentyof
detergentbeforebeingdriedinthedryer.
• Garmentsorpillowsbolsteredwithrubber
foam(latexfoam),showerbonnets,water
resistanttextiles,materialswithrubber
reinforcementandrubberfoampadsshould
notbedriedinthedryer.
• Donotusefabricsoftenersandanti-static
productsunlesstheyarerecommendedby
themanufacturersofthefabricsofteneror
theproduct.
• Thisproductmustbegrounded.Grounding
installationdecreasestheriskofelectric
shockbyopeningapathwithlowresistance
fortheelectricityflowincaseofamalfunction
orfailure.Powercableofthisproductis
equippedwithaconductorandagrounding
plugthatallowsforgroundingtheproduct.
Thisplugmustbeinstalledappropriatelyand
insertedintoasocketwhichisgrounded
inaccordancewiththelocallawsand
regulations.
• Donotinstalltheproductbehindadoorwith
alock,slidingdoororadoorthathasahinge
againstthehingeofthedryer.
• Donotinstallorleavethisproductin
placeswhereitwillbeexposedtooutdoor
conditions.
• Donottamperwiththecontrols.
• Donotperformanyrepairorpartreplacing
proceduresontheproductevenifyouknow
orhavetheabilitytoperformunlessitis
clearlysuggestedintheoperatinginstructions
orthepublishedservicemanual.
• Insideandexhaustductoftheproductmust
becleanedbythequalifiedservicepersonnel
periodically.
• Wrongconnectionofgroundingconductor
oftheproductcancauseelectricshock.If
youhaveanysuspectaboutthegrounding
connection,haveitcheckedbyaqualified
electrician,servicerepresentativeorservice
personnel.
• Donotreachintothemachinewhenthe
drumisspinning.
• Unplugthemachinewhenitisnotinuse.
• Neverwashdowntheappliancewithwater!
