3 Loading
3.1 Loading procedure
Before every programme start, check the following:
Spray arms:
• Can the spray arms be freely rotated?
• Are the nozzle openings of the spray arms clean / free of blockages?
Load items:
• Open the articulated instruments (e.g. scissors, clamps) before placing them
in the trays.
• Make sure there are no surfaces not being exposed to solution due to un-
favourable loading (all surfaces of the load items must be accessible to the
spray arms).
• Place light instruments and small parts in the special container or holders and
secure if necessary.
• Place vessels and dishes with the opening face down so as not to impair the
cleaning of the instruments and to prevent them from being turned over by
the washing mechanism.
Danger
Wearing protective goggles and gloves is mandatory when handling the
items to be washed. Contaminated items to be washed can cause infec-
tions!
1 Standard trays
Standard trays
Standard trays (Fig. 1041, pos. 1) must be placed
in such a way that they do not protrude over the
edge of the rack.

tray that the instruments do not protrude over the
edge of the tray.
Caution!
Do not overload standard trays! There is a risk of
obstructing the rotation of the wash arm, which
can lead to a negative cleaning result.
