Power
After connecting the curler with the power suppl , the preset temperature indicator will start
flashing with the preset temperature. When the temperature reaches the preset level, the indicator
will stop flashing and will displa normall .
The unit will automaticall turn off after 72 minutes. When the unit turns off, “SLP” will displa
on the screen to indicate the unit is sleeping.
Settings
0 - Off
I - 180° C (delicate, thin or d ed hair)
II - 200° C (normal hair)
III - 230° C (thick, stiff or naturall wav hair)
Time
•6 seconds: Micro wave. After the initial audio tone, start curling. After 6 seconds, two
audio tones will sound and curling should stop. An alarm tone will sound after 24 seconds.
•8 seconds: Soft loose micro wave. After the initial audio tone, start curling. After 8
seconds, two audio tones will sound and curling should stop. An alarm tone will sound after
24 seconds.
•10 seconds: Normal curl. After the initial audio tone, start curling. After 10 seconds, two
audio tones will sound and curling should stop. An alarm tone will sound after 24 seconds.
•12 seconds: Strong curl. After the initial audio tone, start curling. After 12 seconds, two
audio tones will sound and curling should stop. An alarm tone will sound after 24 seconds.
Curling Direction
R: When curling hair on the right side of our face, switch to R for inward curling.
L: When curling hair on the left side of our face, switch to L for inward curling.
(If ou want outward curling, place curler on the opposite side of our face. Curl the hair on the
right side of our face on the L setting, and curl the hair on the left side of our face on the R
setting.)
A: Automatic. One section of hair will rotate to the left, and another section of hair will rotate to the
right alternatel . This will achieve the best natural looking curl.
Hair must be clean, combed and dr prior to use. Select a section of hair less than 3cm wide, and
pull it straight b the end. Put the hair into the V-shaped groove, positioning the curler where ou
want the curling to start.
Close the curler and the curling block will roll the hair inside.
At the double tones, slowl loosen the grip.

NOTES
•After using the automatic hair curler, please clear all of the hairs inside, otherwise the ma
cause the curler to clog up and not function as desired.
•Do not ank or exert undue stress on the power cord. Stop using the curler when the power
cord is damaged, and immediatel contact the Kogan customer service team.
•Upon first use, it is normal for a small amount of smoke and a strange smell to be present.
This is due to the insulant material on the element, and it will disappear with use.
•Please make sure the hair is placed correctl in the curler.
