Tirer la tige ”T” jusqu’à l’arrêt supérieur.
Den Haken ”T” bis zum oberen Anschlag ziehen.
Pull the rod ”T” out as far as it will go.
Tirar la tija ”T” hacia arriba hasta su tope superior.
Dévisser les 2 écrous ”E” et enlever le couvercle.
Die 2 Muttern ”E” lösen und Deckel abheben.
Loosen the 2 nuts ”E” and remove the lid.
Destornillar las 2 tuercas ”E” y quitar la tapa.
Remplir le cylindre jusqu’au niveau indiqué avec de l’eau distillée de
préférence, pour éviter un dépôt calcaire.
Den Zylinder bis zur angebenen Höhe mit Wasser füllen. Vorzugsweise
distilliertes Wassere verwenden, um einen kalkniederschlag zu vermeiden.
Fill the cylinder with water up to the indicated level. It is preferable to use
distilled water in order to avoid limy deposit.
Llenar el depósito con agua, hasta el nivel indacado, utilizando con
preferencia agua destilada libre de residuos calcarios.

Suspendre la montre au crochet.
Uhr an den Haken hängen.
Hang the watch on the hook.
Colgar el reloj del ganchito.
Remettre le couvercle et le visser avec les 2 écrous ”E”.
Den Deckel wieder aufsetzen und mit den beiden Muttern ”E” zuschrauben.
Replace the lid and screw it tight by means of the 2 nuts ”E”.
Poner nuevamente la tapa, atornillandola con las tuercas ”E”.
Au moyen du levier ”L” monter la pression jusqu’à 3 atmosphères
(critère adopté par l’Industrie Horlogère Suisse) et attendre 3 minutes
pour laisser l’air pénétrer dans la montre.
Mittels dem Hebel ”L” den Druck bis 3 Atmosphären ansteigen lassen
(durch die Schweizerische Uhrenindustrie angewandte Norm),
3 Minuten warten, um die Luft in die Uhr eindringen zu lassen.
Usig the lever ”L” raise the pressure to 3 atmospheres (requirement
according to the official standard of the Swiss watch industry), and
wait for 3 minutes to allow air to enter the watch.
Con la palanca ”L” se hace subir la presión del aire hasta 3 atmosferas
(norma adoptada por la Industria Relojera Suiza) y esperar unos 3
minutos para dejar entrar el aire en el reloj.
Immerger la montre et immédiatement retirer l’air du cylindre en
pressant sur le bouton ”B”.
Die Uhr eintauchen und sofort die Luft entweichen lassen, indem der
Knopf ”B” gedrückt wird.
Immerse the watch and immediately allow the air to escape by pressing
the knob ”B”.
Sumergir el reloj en el agua y al mismo tiempo, apretar el botón ”B”
dejando escapar el aire.

Pendant que la pression baisse, observer la montre: si des petites bulles
s’échappent de la boîte, il apparaît que celle-ci n’est pas étanche à
l’endroit d’où les bulles sortent. Dans ce cas sortir immédiatement la
montre de l’eau en tirant la tige ”T” jusqu’à l’arrêt supérieur.
Während der Druck sinkt, die Uhr beobachten: falls kleine Blasen vom
Gehäuse entweichen, ist dieses an der Stelle, wo die Blasen austreten,
nicht wasserdicht. In diesem Fall die Uhr sofort aus dem Wasser nehmen,
indem der Haken ”T” bis zum oberen Anschlag gezogen wird.
While the pressure is falling, observe the watch: if little air bubbles
escape from the case, it is obvious that sealing is bad at the point of
escape. In this case, lift the watch out of the water at once by pulling
the rod ”T” as far as far as it will go.
Mientras que la presión baja, se observa al reloj: Si se produce un
escape de burbujas de la caja, esta no es completamente impermeable.
Hay que sacar inmediatemente el reloj del agua, tirando de la tija ”T”
hasta su tope superior.
Si la montre est étanche, laisser l’air s’échapper ensuite dévisser les
2 écrous ”E”, enlever le couvercle et sortir la montre.
Steigen keine Blasen auf, ist die Uhr wasserdicht. Die beiden Muttern
”E” lösen, den Deckel abheben und die Uhr herausnehmen.
If the watch is water resistant, allow the air to escape; then loosen the
2 nuts ”E”, take off the lid and remove the watch.
Si no hay escape de burbujas, el reloj es impermeable. Se deja salir
todo el aire, se destornillan las 2 tuercas ”E”, se quita la tapa y se
saca el reloj.
