Ensure that all four wires to the T-Lock harness are connected. Reconnect the car
battery. Use a voltmeter or similar to test for +12V on the red wire, ground on black.
Use a short copper wire and short the yellow wire to ground, the doors should lock.
Then connect the yellow/black wire briefly to ground to verify that the doors will
unlock.
T-Lock has the possibility to blink the direction lights when operating. One blink
when locking, and two blinks when unlocking. You may use this by connecting the
two extra wires to the turn signal circuits in the car. Disconnect the battery first,
and insert the two brown wires into the T-Lock harness as shown. The two wires
shall be placed into the two slots next to the red thick wire. Make sure you
hear the click when they are fully inserted. Connect to the turn signal circuit wires
on the lock control box according to the table below. The wires are available on the
black harness where you found the GND and +12V wires mentioned above.
Test the connection by measuring both of them with a voltmeter. Turn on the direction
light. You should measure +12V when the light is on.
Fasten the T-Lock receiver under the seat with double sided tape or nylon strips.
Remember to place the antenna wire freely for good reception.
Four T-Lock transmitters can be used in the same system. Registration of a fifth
transmitter will overwrite the first memory position.
Do the following to store new transmitter units:
Press and hold the Store button as shown
Press one of the rubber buttons on the new remote transmitter
Release the Store button. T-Lock will blink the direction lights to indicate
the registration of the new remote transmitter
The transmitters are equipped with two batteries of type CR 2016.
Normally the batteries will last for months depending on use. Poor reception or
fading blue light indicates that the batteries should be exchanged. Open the
transmitter by removing the three screws. The batteries are stacked in the
battery holder. Replace the batteries and make sure that both are placed with the
positive pole faced up. The old batteries must be disposed of properly.
T-Lock operates on 433 MHz radio frequency and is approved for use in the Nordic
countries and the European Union.
