pas utiliser le GREEN POWER et doivent être tenus
éloignés de celle-ci lorsqu’il fonctionne. Les enfants ne
doivent pas joué avec le GREEN POWER. Le nettoyage
et l’entretien utilisateur ne doivent pas être faits par
des enfants sans supervision.
Cet appareil ne doit pas être utilisé par des personnes
(y compris des enfants) présentant des aptitudes
physiques sensorielles ou mentales réduites ou
manquant de connaissances et d’expérience à moins
qu’une personne chargée de leur sécurité ne les
encadre et leur donne les instructions à suivre pour
utiliser l’appareil.
2 - MESURES DE SÉCURITÉ – À LIRE
ATTENTIVEMENT AVANT UTILISATION
L’utilisateur est responsable envers les tiers de tout ce qui
entraîne l’utilisation du GREEN POWER (installation
électrique, etc.). En France, respectez la norme NF C1 -
100 du 07/00 qui régit les installations électriques à basse
tension. Dans les autres pays, respectez la réglementation
locale. Avant l’utilisation du GREEN POWER, il est donc
conseillé de faire contrôler par un électricien expérimenté
qu’il y a les mesures de sécurité nécessaires sur le réseau
électrique.
Les caractéristiques indiquées sur la plaque du GREEN
POWER doivent correspondre aux caractéristiques du
réseau électrique. Pour des raisons de sécurité, le réseau
électrique qui alimente le GREEN POWER doit être équipé
d’un disjoncteur différentiel (30 mA) et de prises avec fiche
de mise à la terre.
Vérifiez l’état des câbles d’alimentation avant chaque mise
en service. Ne pas utiliser le câble à d’autres fins que celle
prévues, ne pas utiliser le câble pour porter le GREEN
POWER, pour l’accrocher ou encore pour le débrancher de
la prise de courant
Si vous ajoutez une allonge électrique, celle-ci doit être de
type identique au câble d’alimentation du GREEN POWER
(voir paragraphe 4), avec prise de raccordement étanche.
N’effectuer aucune modification sur le GREEN
POWER. N’intervenez en aucun cas sur la
partie électrique. Seul le service après vente
Berthoud est habilité à intervenir sur la partie électrique
GREEN POWER. Si le câble d’alimentation est
endommagé il doit être remplacé par le service après-vente
Berthoud. Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en
cas d’accident provoqué par une utilisation du GREEN
POWER ne respectant pas les consignes de sécurité ou
utilisé en dehors de son domaine d’application, ou dû à une
modification du GREEN POWER ou une intervention sur la
partie électrique.
Ne pas utiliser le GREEN POWER dans un environnement
présentant des risques d’explosion ou à proximité de
matériaux inflammable.
Ne pas utiliser en zone aride pour éviter tout risque de feu.
Ne pas diriger le courant d’air chaud vers des personnes
ou des animaux.
Ne pas dirigé le courant d’air chaud sur le même endroit
pendant une période assez longue.
Faire attention que la chaleur peut se propager vers des
matériaux cachés inflammables et les enflammer.
Apres son utilisation, poser le GREEN POWER sur son
support (Fig1 rep.7) en toute sécurité et le laisser
complètement refroidir avant de le ranger.
Ne pas laisser le GREEN POWER en marche sans
surveillance.
Ne pas exposer le GREEN POWER à la pluie ou
l’humidité.
Ne pas plonger le GREEN POWER dans l’eau.
Débrancher l’appareil avant de changer des accessoires ou
de le ranger.
Ne pas toucher la buse chaude (Fig1 rep.8).
Ne jamais obstruer les ouïes d’aération (Fig1 rep. )
3 - DOMAINE D'APPLICATION
Le GREEN POWER est destiné à un usage privé et
domestique.
Il permet de traiter les mauvaises herbes en
créant un choc thermique. La montée rapide de
la température fait éclater les cellules de la
plante et détruit la mauvaise herbe.

6 - MISE EN SERVICE – PREMIÈRE
UTILISATION (Fig1)
Mise en Marche
Assurer-vous que la buse (8) soit bien fixée et que
l’interrupteur (4) soit sur ‘OFF’ (Fig2A). Brancher le GREEN
POWER avec le câble d’alimentation (3) sur le réseau
d’alimentation électrique après vous êtes assurée que les
mesures de sécurité soient respectées.
Assurez-vous que rien ne soit placé devant la buse lorsque
vous allumez le GREEN POWER.
Mettez le GREEN POWER en fonctionnement en mettant
l’interrupteur sur position ‘chauffe’ (Fig2B).
Maintenez le GREEN POWER par sa poignée
ergonomique (1). Pour plus de confort, vous pouvez
adapter la prise de l’appareil en maintenant la poignée
ergonomique plus ou moins haute (Fig3).
Faites chauffer l’appareil pendant 4 secondes, afin que la
température d’utilisation soit atteinte.
Pour traiter votre mauvaise herbe, appliquez la buse (8)
dessus en la faisant reposer sur le sol, pendant 3
secondes.
7 – UTILISATION Allume barbecue
Cet appareil peut servir à allumer le charbon de bois des
barbecues. Dans ce cas respecter les consignes et les
recommandations des fabricants des barbecues.
Pour l’allumage du charbon de bois, mettez le charbon de
bois dans votre foyer habituel, positionner la buse à
quelque centimètre du charbon de bois. Assurez-vous que
l'appareil à allumer le feu est convenablement positionné et
maintenu. Mettez l’appareil en position ‘chauffe’ (Fig2B) au
centre du barbecue. Laissez l’appareil au même point de
chauffe, afin de porter à indécence le charbon. L’allumage
peut prendre entre 30 secondes et 2 minutes selon votre
charbon de bois. Lorsque le charbon est suffisamment
chaud, il devient rouge et des flammes peuvent apparaitre
à proximité de la buse. Cela signifie que votre barbecue est
allumé. Débranchez l’appareil avant de le retirer du feu.
Laissez refroidir l'appareil avant de le ranger (voir
paragraphe suivant). Ne laissez pas les parties chaudes de
l'appareil à allumer le feu toucher le câble souple ou
d’autres matériaux inflammables.
Arrêt de l’appareil
Avant de stopper complètement l’appareil, il est nécessaire
de passer par une phase de refroidissement.
Poussez l’interrupteur (4) en position “Ventilation“ (Fig2C).
La ventilation doit durer au minimum 30 secondes.
Une fois cette opération terminée vous pouvez poussez
l’interrupteur sur OFF (Fig2A) afin d’éteindre le GREEN
POWER.
8 - RANGEMENT
Assurez-vous que l’appareil soit complètement froid avant
de le ranger.
L’appareil peut être posé au sol sur son support (7) ou
accrocher au mur par son point d’ancrage (2).

10 - GARANTIE
Ce produit est garanti au 1 an (ou à minima à hauteur de la législation nationale concernée) contre tout défaut de matière ou de
fabrication, à compter de la date d'achat de l'appareil par l'utilisateur, sur présentation de la facture d'achat ou du ticket de caisse
uniquement. Cette garantie consiste en la réparation de l'appareil défectueux.
Notre garantie exclut :
- le démontage non autorisé de l’appareil,
- les pièces d’usure,
- les matériels modifiés,
- les matériels dont il est fait usage en infraction avec les recommandations figurant dans la présente notice,
- le matériel dont il est fait un usage abusif,
- les dégradations consécutives à des utilisations négligentes : chocs, chutes…
Notre garantie ne couvre pas les accidents relevant de détérioration ou d’utilisation défectueuse et anormale du matériel.
La garantie légale pour défauts de conformité et vices rédhibitoires s’applique selon les conditions des articles 1641 à 1649 du
Code Civil français.

Children and teenagers below the age of 16 should not
use the GREEN POWER and must stand away when it
runs. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.

abilities or lacking knowledge and experience without
supervision by a person in charge of their safety
instructing them on how to use the device.

2 – SAFETY MEASURES – READ CAREFULLY BEFORE
USE
The user is liable towards any third party for any event
linked with the use of the GREEN POWER (electrical
installation, etc.). In France, comply with the NF C1 -100
standard of 07/00 governing low voltage electrical
installations. In other countries, comply with local
regulations. Before using the GREEN POWER, we advise
you to ask a skilled electrician to check that the safety
measures required on the electrical network are fitted.
The specifications indicated on the plate of the GREEN
POWER must match the specifications of the electrical
network. For safety purposes, the electrical network
supplying the GREEN POWER must be fitted with a
differential circuit breaker (30 mA) with grounding pin.
Check the condition of the power supply cables before
starting up.
Do not use the cable to other ends than those planned, do
not use the cable to carry the GREEN POWER, hang it nor
disconnect it from the power outlet
If you add an extension cord, it must be identical to the
power supply cable of the GREEN POWER (see paragraph
4), with sealed connecting plug.
Do not modify the GREEN POWER. Never
intervene on the electrical part. Only Berthoud
after-sales service is authorized to intervene on
the electrical part of the GREEN POWER. If the power
cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the Berthoud
after-sales service. We waive any liability in case of
accident caused by a use of the GREEN POWER not
complying with safety instructions or beyond its scope of
application, or due to a modification of the GREEN
POWER or an intervention on the electrical part.
Do not use the GREEN POWER in an environment
featuring risks of explosion or near flammable materials.
Do not use in an arid zone to prevent risks of fire.
Do not direct the hot air towards persons or animals.
Do not direct the hot air flow to the same point for a rather
long period.
Ensure the heat cannot propagate to hidden flammable
materials, and ignite them.
After its use, lay the GREEN POWER on its carrier (Fig1
item 7) safely and leave it to cool down completely before
storing it.
Do not leave the GREEN POWER running unattended.
Do not expose the GREEN POWER to rain or humidity.
Do not immerse the GREEN POWER in water.
Disconnect the device before changing any accessories or
storing it.
Do not touch the hot nozzle (Fig1 item 8).
Never obstruct the vents (Fig1 item )
3 – SCOPE OF APPLICATION
The GREEN POWER is designed for a private domestic
use.
It eliminates weed by means of thermal shock.
The fast temperature build-up bursts the cells of
the plant and destroys the weed.

6 – START-UP – FIRST USE (Fig1)
Starting up
Ensure the nozzle (8) is properly fitted and the switch (4) is
set to ‘OFF’ (Fig2A). Connect the GREEN POWER with the
supply cable (3) onto the power supply network after
checking the safety measures are observed.
Check that nothing is placed in front of the nozzle when
switching on the GREEN POWER.
Start the GREEN POWER by setting the switch to the
‘heating’ position (Fig2B).
Hold the GREEN POWER with its ergonomic handle (1).
For more comfort, you can adapt your grip on the device by
holding the ergonomic handle higher or lower (Fig3).
Warm up the device for 4 seconds to reach the operating
temperature.
To eliminate weed, apply the nozzle (8) onto it while letting
it rest on the ground for 3 seconds.
7- USING AS A CHARCOAL BBQ LIGHTER
This device can be used to light charcoal barbecues.
Comply with the barbecue manufacturer’s instructions.
To light the charcoal, put the charcoal in the barbecue as
usual and bring the nozzle up to within a few centimetres
from the charcoal. Make sure that the device is suitably
positioned and stable directed at the centre of the
barbecue. Set the device to “heat” (Fig2B). Leave the
device in the same position until the charcoal starts to glow.
This may take between 30 seconds and 2 minutes
depending on the charcoal. When the charcoal is
sufficiently hot, it becomes red and flames may appear
near the nozzle. This indicates that the charcoal is lit.
Unplug the device before removing it from the fire. Allow
the device to cool down before putting it away (see next
paragraph). Do not let the hot parts of the device to touch
the power cord or other inflammable materials.
Stopping the device
Before stopping the device completely, a cooling phase is
required.
Set the switch (4) to the “Ventilation” position (Fig2C).
Ventilation must last 30 seconds minimum.
Once this operation is complete, you can set the switch to
OFF (Fig2A) to switch off the GREEN POWER.
8 - STORAGE
Check the device is completely cold before storing it.
The device can be laid on the ground on its carrier (7) or
hung to the wall by its anchoring point (2).

10 - WARRANTY
This product has a 1-year warranty against any material or manufacturing defect, from the date of purchase of the device by the
user, upon presentation of the purchase invoice or cashier receipt only. This warranty consists in repairing the faulty device.
Our warranty excludes:
- unauthorized disassembly of the device,
- wear parts,
- modified equipment,
- equipment used against the recommendations described in these instructions,
- equipment abused,
- degradations due to careless use: shock, drop…
Our warranty does not cover accidents resulting from the damage or faulty and abnormal use of the equipment.
The legal warranty for conformity defects and redhibitory vice applies according to the conditions of articles 1641 to 1649 of the
French Civil Code.

2 - SICHERHEITSHINWEISE – BITTE SORGFÄLTIG
VOR GEBRAUCH LESEN
Der Benutzer haftet gegenüber Dritten für alle
Auswirkungen der Verwendung des GREEN POWER
(elektrische Einrichtungen, usw.). In Frankreich ist die
Norm NF C1 -100 von 07/00 bezüglich elektrischer
Niederspannungseinrichtungen einzuhalten. In den
anderen Ländern müssen die lokalen Vorschriften
eingehalten werden. Vor dem Gebrauch des GREEN
POWER sollte demzufolge von einem erfahrenen Elektriker
geprüft werden, dass die notwendigen Sicherheitsmittel am
Stromnetz vorhanden sind.
Die auf dem Schild von GREEN POWER angegebenen
Eigenschaften müssen den Eigenschaften des
Stromnetzes entsprechen. Aus Sicherheitsgründen muss
das den GREEN POWER versorgende Stromnetz mit
einem Differentialschutzschalter (30mA) und Steckdosen
mit geerdetem Stecker ausgerüstet sein.
Vor jeder Inbetriebnahme den Zustand der Netzkabel
prüfen.
Das Kabel nicht für andere Zwecke als vorgesehen
verwenden. Den GREEN POWER nicht mit Hilfe des
Kabels tragen oder aufhängen und auch nicht von der
Steckdose trennen.
Sollten Sie ein Verlängerungskabel verwenden, muss
dieses dem Netzkabel des GREEN POWER entsprechen
(siehe Abschnitt 4) und einen wasserdichten Anschluss
aufweisen.
Keine Änderung am GREEN POWER
vornehmen. Auf keinen Fall am elektrischen Teil
eingreifen. Nur der Kundendienst von Berthoud ist
berechtigt, am elektrischen Teil von GREEN POWER
einzugreifen. Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, muss es
vom Berthoud-Kundendienst ersetzt werden. Wir
übernehmen keine Haftung für Unfälle, die auf einer
Verwendung des GREEN POWER beruhen, bei der die
Sicherheitsvorschriften nicht eingehalten wurden, oder falls
er außerhalb seines Anwendungsbereiches eingesetzt
wurde, oder die aus einer Änderung des GREEN POWER
oder einem Eingriff am elektrischen Teil hervorgehen.
Den GREEN POWER nicht in einer Umgebung mit
Explosionsgefahr oder in der Nähe von entzündbaren
Materialien verwenden.
Nicht in ausgetrockneten Bereichen einsetzen, um jegliche
Brandgefahr zu vermeiden.
Den warmen Luftstrom nicht in Richtung von Personen
oder Tieren halten.
Den warmen Luftstrom nicht über lange Zeit auf eine
einzige Stelle richten.
Beachten Sie bitte, dass sich die Wärme auf verborgene
entzündbare Materialien ausbreiten und diese anzünden
kann.
Den GREEN POWER nach seinem Einsatz sicher auf
seinen Träger (Abb. 1 Nr. 7) stellen und ihn vollständig
abkühlen lassen, bevor er verstaut wird.
Den GREEN POWER nicht unbeaufsichtigt in Betrieb
lassen.
Den GREEN POWER weder Regen noch Feuchtigkeit
aussetzen.
Den GREEN POWER nicht in Wasser tauchen.
Das Gerät vom Stromnetz trennen, bevor die Zubehörteile
gewechselt werden oder bevor er verstaut wird.

3 - ANWENDUNGSBEREICH
Der GREEN POWER ist für den privaten
Hausgebrauch vorgesehen.
Er wirkt durch Wärmeschock auf das Unkraut
ein. Der schnelle Temperaturanstieg zersprengt
die Zellen der Pflanze und zerstört das Unkraut.

Inbetriebnahme
Sicherstellen, dass die Düse (8) fest angebracht und der
Schalter (4) auf ‘OFF’ ist (Abb. 2A). Den GREEN POWER
mit dem Netzkabel (3) an das Stromnetz anschließen,
nachdem Sie geprüft haben, dass die Sicherheitshinweise
eingehalten werden.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass kein Gegenstand die Düse
behindert, wenn Sie den GREEN POWER einschalten.
Den GREEN POWER in Betrieb nehmen, indem der
Schalter auf die Stellung ‘Heißluft’ gestellt wird (Abb. 2B).
Den GREEN POWER mit seinem ergonomischen Griff (1)
halten. Um einen besseren Komfort zu gewähren, können
Sie den Halt des Gerätes anpassen, indem Sie den
ergonomischen Griff mehr oder weniger hoch halten
(Fig. 3).
Das Gerät 4 Sekunden lang warm laufen lassen, damit
die Betriebstemperatur erreicht wird.
Um das Unkraut zu entfernen, die Düse (8) über dem
Unkraut ansetzen und sie 3 Sekunden lang mit dem
Boden in Berührung kommen lassen.
7 – GEBRAUCH des Grillanzünders
Dieses Gerät kann zum Anzünden der Holzkohle von
Barbecue dienen. In diesem Fall sind die Anweisungen und
Empfehlungen des Barbecue Herstellers zu beachten.
Um die Holzkohle anzuzünden, füllen Sie die Holzkohle in
Ihre gewöhnliche Feuerstelle, bringen Sie die Düse in
einen Abstand von wenigen Zentimetern von der
Holzkohle. Prüfen Sie, dass der Anzünder korrekt
positioniert und gehalten ist. Stellen Sie das Gerät auf
Position ‘Ein’ (Abb. 2B) in die Mitte des Barbecues. Lassen
Sie das Gerät in derselben Heizstufe, um die Holzkohle
zum Glühen zu bringen. Je nach Holzkohle kann das
Anzünden zwischen 30 Sekunden und 2 Minuten dauern.
Wenn die Holzkohle ausreichend heiß ist, färbt sie sich rot
und Flammen können in der Nähe der Düse erscheinen.
Dies signalisiert, dass Ihr Barbecue angezündet ist.
Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Stromnetz ab, bevor Sie es
aus dem Feuer herausnehmen. Vor dem Verstauen, lassen
Sie das Gerät abkühlen (siehe Nächten Absatz). Achten
Sie darauf, dass die heiße Teile des Feueranzünders nicht
in Berührung mit dem weichen Kabel oder anderen
entzündlichen Materialien kommen.
Gerät ausschalten
Bevor das Gerät vollkommen ausgeschaltet werden kann,
muss eine Abkühlphase eingehalten werden.
Den Schalter (4) auf die Stellung „Ventilation“ bringen
(Abb. 2C). Die Ventilation muss mindestens 30 Sekunden
lang dauern.
Sobald dieser Vorgang vollendet ist, können Sie den
Schalter auf OFF setzen (Abb. 2A), um den GREEN
POWER auszuschalten.
8 - VERSTAUEN
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät vollkommen abgekühlt
ist, bevor sie es verstauen.
Das Gerät kann auf seinem Träger (7) auf den Boden
gestellt werden oder mit Hilfe seiner Aufhängevorrichtung
(2) an die Wand gehängt werden.

Dieses Produkt verfügt über 1 Jahr Garantie gegen jeden Material- oder Herstellungsfehler, und dies ab dem Datum des vom
Käufer getätigten Kaufes des Gerätes und ausschließlich nach Vorlage der Kaufrechnung oder des Kassenbons. Diese Garantie
beläuft sich auf die Reparatur des fehlerhaften Gerätes.
Folgendes ist aus unserer Garantie ausgeschlossen:
- der nicht zulässige Auseinanderbau des Gerätes,
- die Verschleißteile,
- die geänderten Geräte,
- die Geräte, die nicht in Übereinstimmung mit den in vorliegender Anleitung gegebenen Vorschriften verwendet werden,
- die Geräte, die missbräuchlich eingesetzt werden,
- die Beschädigungen, die aus einem fahrlässigem Gebrauch hervorgehen: Stöße, Stürze, usw.
Unsere Garantie deckt keine Unfälle, die aus der Beschädigung oder fehlerhaften und falschen Verwendung des Gerätes
hervorgehen.
Die legale Garantie für Konformitätsfehler und Sachmängel ist gemäß den Bestimmungen der Artikel 1641 bis 1649 des
französischen Zivilgesetzbuches anwendbar.

Opgelet: Om veiligheidsredenen mogen
personen die de aanwijzingen verschaft in
deze gebruikshandleiding niet gelezen en
begrepen hebben geen gebruik maken van
de GREEN POWER.
Kinderen en jongeren onder de 16 jaar mogen de
GREEN POWER niet gebruiken en moeten uit de buurt
ervan blijven wanneer die in werking is.
Dit apparaat mag niet worden gebruikt door personen
(ook kinderen) met lichamelijke zintuiglijke of
geestelijke beperkingen of die niet beschikken over de
nodige kennis en ervaring tenzij ze onder het toezicht
zijn van een persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun
veiligheid en hen de nodige instructies geeft voor het
gebruik van het apparaat.
2 - VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN – AANDACHTIG
LEZEN VOOR HET GEBRUIK
De gebruiker is verantwoordelijk ten opzichte van derden
voor al wat voortvloeit uit het gebruik van de GREEN
POWER (elektrische installatie, enz.). Voor Frankrijk geldt
de norm NF C1 -100 van 07/00 inzake elektrische
laagspanningsinstallaties. In de andere landen moeten de
lokale normen worden gerespecteerd. Vooraleer gebruik te
maken van de GREEN POWER, wordt dus aangeraden
door een ervaren elektricien te laten controleren of het
elektriciteitsnet volgens de normen is.
De kenmerken aangegeven op het plaatje van de GREEN
POWER moeten overeenkomen met de kenmerken van
het elektriciteitsnet. Om veiligheidsredenen, moet het
elektriciteitsnet dat de GREEN POWER van stroom
voorziet uitgerust zijn met een differentieelschakelaar
(30mA) en stopcontacten met aarding.
Controleer de staat van de voedingskabels vóór elk
gebruik.
Gebruik de kabel niet voor andere doeleinden, gebruik hem
niet om de GREEN POWER te transporteren, op te hangen
of los te koppelen van het stopcontact.
Indien u gebruik maakt van een verlengkabel, dan moet
deze van hetzelfde type zijn als de voedingskabel van de
GREEN POWER (zie paragraaf 4), met waterdichte
verbindingsstekker.
Breng geen wijzigingen aan de GREEN
POWER aan. Grijp geenszins in op het
elektrisch deel. Alleen de dienst na verkoop van
Berthoud is bevoegd om in te grijpen op het elektrisch deel
van de GREEN POWER. Als de voedingskabel beschadigd
is, moet hij vervangen worden door de after-sales afdeling
van Berthoud. Wij kunnen niet aansprakelijk gesteld
worden in geval van een ongeluk veroorzaakt door een
gebruik van de GREEN POWER dat afwijkt van de
veiligheidsvoorschriften of het toepassingsveld, of dat toe
te schrijven is aan een wijziging van de GREEN POWER of
een ingreep op het elektrisch deel.
Gebruik de GREEN POWER niet in een omgeving met
risico van explosie of vlakbij ontvlambaar materiaal.
Gebruik niet in droge gebieden, om het risico van brand te
voorkomen.
De stroom warme lucht niet richten naar personen of
dieren.
De stroom warme lucht niet te lang op dezelfde plek
richten.
Let op, want de warmte kan zich verspreiden naar
verborgen ontvlambaar materiaal dat vuur kan vatten.
Na het gebruik wordt de GREEN POWER veilig op zijn
houder gezet (Fig.1 ond.7); laat hem volledig afkoelen
vooraleer hem op te bergen.
Laat de GREEN POWER niet aan staan zonder toezicht.
Stel de GREEN POWER niet bloot aan regen of vocht.
Dompel de GREEN POWER niet onder in water.
Koppel het apparaat los vooraleer de accessoires te
veranderen of het apparaat zelf op te bergen.
De hete buis niet aanraken (Fig.1 ond.8).
De verluchtingsgaten nooit verstoppen (Fig.1 ond. )
3 - TOEPASSINGSVELD
De GREEN POWER is bestemd voor een privaat en
huishoudelijk gebruik.
Het apparaat dient om onkruid te verdelgen
door de creatie van een thermische schok. De
snelle temperatuurtoename doet de cellen van
de plant openbarsten en vernietigt het onkruid.

GEBRUIK (Fig.1)
Inschakeling
Zorg ervoor dat de buis (8) goed bevestigd is en dat de
schakelaar (4) op ‘OFF’ staat (Fig.2A). Koppel de GREEN
POWER met de voedingskabel (3) aan het elektriciteitsnet
na erover te hebben gewaakt dat alle
veiligheidsvoorschriften werden gerespecteerd.
Zorg ervoor dat er niks voor de buis staat wanneer de
GREEN POWER wordt aangezet.
Zet de GREEN POWER in werking door de schakelaar op
'verwarmen' te zetten (Fig.2B).
Houd de GREEN POWER vast met de ergonomische
handgreep (1). Voor meer comfort, kan het apparaat hoger
of lager worden vastgenomen met behulp van de
ergonomische handgreep (Fig.3).
Laat het apparaat 4 seconden opwarmen om de
gebruikstemperatuur te bereiken.
Om het onkruid te behandelen, wordt de buis (8) erboven
gehouden en op de grond geplaatst, gedurende 3
seconden.
7 - GEBRUIK barbecue-aansteker
Dit apparaat kan ook gebruikt worden om houtskool voor
barbecues aan te steken. Hierbij de richtlijnen en
aanbevelingen van de barbecuefabrikanten naleven.
Plaats de houtskool in de barbecue, plaats de buis op
enkele centimeter van de houtskool. Zorg ervoor dat de
barbecue en aansteker goed en stevig geplaatst en
onderhouden zijn. Zet het apparaat in de stand ‘chauffe’
(verwarmen) (Fig. 2B) en richt het op het midden van de
barbecue. Hou het apparaat op hetzelfde verwarmingspunt
om de houtskool te laten ontvlammen. Het aansteken kan
30 seconden tot 2 minuten duren, afhankelijk van de
gebruikte houtskool. Wanneer de houtskool voldoende heet
is, zal deze rood worden en kunnen er vlammen in de buurt
van de buis verschijnen. Nu is uw barbecue aangestoken.
Schakel het apparaat uit voordat u het uit het vuur
verwijdert. Laat het afkoelen vooraleer het op te bergen
(zie volgende paragraaf). Laat de hete onderdelen van de
barbecue-aansteker niet in contact komen met het soepele
snoer of andere ontvlambare materialen.
Het apparaat stoppen
Vooraleer het apparaat volledig tot stilstand te brengen,
moet een afkoelingsfase waargenomen worden.
Duw de schakelaar (4) in de stand “Ventilatie“ (Fig.2C). De
ventilatie moet minstens 30 seconden duren.
Daarna kan de schakelaar in de stand OFF gebracht
worden (Fig.2A) om de GREEN POWER uit te zetten.
8 - OPBERGING
Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat volledig afgekoeld is
vooraleer het op te bergen.
Het apparaat kan op de grond geplaatst worden op zijn
houder (7) of aan de muur gehangen worden met behulp
van het bevestigingspunt (2).

10 - GARANTIE
Dit product is gedekt door een garantie van 1 jaar tegen materiaal- of fabrieksfouten, geldend vanaf de aankoopdatum van het
apparaat, op vertoon van het aankoopbewijs of het kassaticket. Deze garantie behelst de reparatie van het defecte apparaat.
De garantie dekt niet:
- het niet-geautoriseerd demonteren van het apparaat,
- de slijtagestukken,
- de gewijzigde materialen,
- de materialen die worden gebruikt tegen de aanbevelingen in deze gebruikshandleiding in,
- het materiaal dat op verkeerde manier werd gebruikt,
- schade als gevolg van nalatigheid: schokken, vallen, ...
Onze garantie dekt geen ongelukken die het gevolg zijn van de beschadiging of het oneigenlijk en verkeerd gebruik van het
materiaal.
De wettelijke garantie voor conformiteitsfouten en koopvernietigende gebreken zijn van toepassing volgens de artikels 1641 tot
1649 van het Frans Burgerlijk Wetboek.

2 - MEDIDAS DE SEGURIDAD – LEER ATENTAMENTE
ANTES DE SU UTILIZACIÓN
El usuario es responsable respecto a terceros de todo lo
que ocasiona la utilización del GREEN POWER
(instalación eléctrica, etc.). En Francia, respete la norma
NF C1 -100 del 07/00 que rige las instalaciones eléctricas
de baja tensión. En los otros países, respete la
reglamentación local. Antes de utilización el GREEN
POWER, por ende, se aconseja hacer que un electricista
experimentado controle que existen las medidas de
seguridad necesarias en la red eléctrica.
Las características indicadas en la placa del GREEN
POWER deben corresponder a las características de la red
eléctrica. Por razones de seguridad, la red eléctrica que
alimenta el GREEN POWER debe estar equipada con un
disyuntor diferencial (30mA) y tomas de enchufe de puesta
a tierra.
Verifique el estado de los cables de alimentación antes de
cada puesta en servicio.
No utilizar el cable para otros fines que no sean los
previstos, no utilizar el cable para llevar el GREEN
POWER, para engancharlo o incluso para desconectarlo
de la toma de corriente
Si añade un prolongador eléctrico, éste debe ser de tipo
idéntico al cable de alimentación del GREEN POWER (ver
párrafo 4), con toma de conexión estanca.
No efectuar ninguna modificación en el GREEN
POWER. En ningún caso intervenga en la parte
eléctrica. Sólo el servicio posventa Berthoud
está habilitado para intervenir en la parte eléctrica GREEN
POWER. Si el cable de alimentación está dañado, deber
ser reemplazado por el servicio posventa de Berthoud.
Declinamos toda responsabilidad en caso de accidente
provocado por una utilización del GREEN POWER que no
respete las consignas de seguridad o utilizado fuera de su
campo de aplicación o debido a una modificación del
GREEN POWER o una intervención en la parte eléctrica.
No utilizar el GREEN POWER en un entorno que presente
riesgos de explosión o a proximidad de materiales
inflamables.
No utilizar en zona árida para evitar todo riesgo de
incendio.
No dirigir la corriente de aire caliente hacia personas o
animales.
No dirigir la corriente de aire caliente al mismo lugar
durante un periodo bastante largo.
Prestar atención a que el calor se puede propagar a
materiales ocultos inflamables e inflamarlos.
Después de utilización, poner el GREEN POWER sobre su
soporte (Fig1 ref. 7) con total seguridad y dejarlo enfriar
completamente antes de guardarlo.
No dejar el GREEN POWER en funcionamiento sin
vigilancia.
No exponer el GREEN POWER a la lluvia o a la humedad.
No sumergir el GREEN POWER en el agua.
Desconectar el aparato antes de cambiar los accesorios o
guardarlo.
No tocar la boquilla caliente (Fig. 1 ref. 8).
Nunca obstruir las ranuras de aireación (Fig. 1 ref. )
3 - CAMPO DE APLICACIÓN
El GREEN POWER está destinado a un uso privado y
doméstico.
Permite tratar las malas hierbas creando un choque
térmico. El rápido aumento de la temperatura
hace estar las células de la planta y destruye la
mala hierba.

6 - PUESTA EN SERVICIO – PRIMERA
UTILIZACIÓN (Fig1)
Puesta en funcionamiento
Cerciórese de que la boquilla (8) esté bien fijada y que el
interruptor (4) esté en OFF (Fig 2A). Conectar el GREEN
POWER con el cable de alimentación (3) en la red de
alimentación eléctrica después de haberse cerciorado de
que se respetan las medidas de seguridad.
Cerciórese de que nada esté situado delante de la boquilla
cuando enciende el GREEN POWER.
Ponga el GREEN POWER en funcionamiento poniendo el
interruptor en posición calentamiento (Fig 2B).
Sujete el GREEN POWER por su empuñadura ergonómica
(1). Para mayor comodidad, puede adaptar la toma del
aparato manteniendo la empuñadura ergonómica más o
menos alta (Fig 3).
Caliente el aparato durante 4 segundos para que se
alcance la temperatura de utilización.
Para tratar su mala hierba, aplique la boquilla (8) encima
haciéndola descansar sobre el suelo durante 3 segundos.
7 – USO enciende barbacoa
Este aparato puede servir para encender el carbón vegetal
de las barbacoas. Para ello, respetar las consignas y las
recomendaciones de los fabricantes de barbacoas.
Para encender el carbón vegetal, colóquelo en la base de
la barbacoa y sitúe la boquilla a unos centímetros del
mismo. Cerciórese de que el aparato encendedor está
colocado convenientemente y en posición estable. Sitúe el
aparato en posición "calentamiento" (Fig2B) en el centro
de la barbacoa. Deje el dispositivo en el mismo punto de
calentamiento, con objeto de incendiar el carbón. El
encendido puede tardar entre 30 segundos y 2 minutos en
función del carbón vegetal. Cuando el carbón esté
suficientemente caliente, se volverá rojo, pudiendo
aparecer llamas cerca de la boquilla. Esto significa que su
barbacoa ya está encendida. Desenchufe el aparato antes
de retirarlo del fuego. Deje enfriar el aparato antes de
guardarlo (ver apartado siguiente). No deje nunca las
partes calientes del dispositivo encendedor cerca de
cables flexibles o de cualquier material inflamable.
Parada del aparato
Antes de parar completamente el aparato, es necesario
pasar por una fase de enfriamiento.
Ponga el interruptor (4) en posición Ventilación” (Fig 2C).
La ventilación debe durar como mínimo 30 segundos.
Una vez terminada esta operación, empuje el interruptor a
OFF (Fig 2A) para apagar el GREEN POWER.
8 - GUARDAR
Cerciórese de que el aparato esté completamente frío
antes de guardarlo.
El aparato se puede poner en el suelo sobre su soporte (7)
o enganchar a la pared por su punto de anclaje (2).

Attenzione: Per ragioni di sicurezza le
persone che non hanno letto e compreso le
indicazioni fornite in questo foglio
informativo non devono utilizzare il GREEN
POWER.
I bambini e giovani di meno di sedici anni non devono
utilizzare il GREEN POWER e devono esserne tenuti
lontani quando è in funzione.
Quest’apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato da
persone (compresi i bambini) che presentino delle
capacità fisiche sensoriali o mentali ridotte o che
manchino di conoscenze e d’esperienza a meno che
una persona incaricata della loro sicurezza non li
inquadri e dia loro le informazioni da seguire per
utilizzare l’apparecchio.
2 – MISURE DI SICUREZZA – DÀ LEGGERE
ATTENTAMENTE PRIMA DELL’UTILIZZO
L’utilizzatore è responsabile verso i terzi di tutto ciò che
implica l’utilizzo GREEN POWER (installazione elettrica,
etc.). In Francia, si deve rispettare la norma NF C1 -100
del 7/2000 che regola le installazioni elettriche a bassa
tensione. Negli altri paesi, si devono rispettare le normative
locali. Prima dell’utilizzo del GREEN POWER, si consiglia
di far controllare da un elettricista esperto che l’impianto
elettrico presenti le misure di sicurezza necessarie.
Le caratteristiche indicate sulla placchetta GREEN
POWER devono corrispondere alle caratteristiche
dell’impianto elettrico. Per ragioni di sicurezza, l’impianto
elettrico che alimenta il GREEN POWER deve essere
fornito di un salvavita (30mA) e di prese con la messa a
terra.
Prima di ogni utilizzo, verificare lo stato dei cavi
d’alimentazione.
Non utilizzare il cavo elettrico ad altri fini da quelli previsti
non utilizzare il cavo per trasportare il GREEN POWER,
per appenderlo o ancora per staccarlo dalla presa di
corrente.
Se si aggiunge una prolunga elettrica, questa deve essere
di tipo identico al cavo di alimentazione del GREEN
POWER (vedi paragrafo 4), con presa di corrente
impermeabile.
Non apportare alcuna modifica al GREEN
POWER. Non intervenire in alcun caso sulla
parte elettrica. Solamente il servizio clienti
Berthoud è abilitato a intervenire sulla parte elettrica del
GREEN POWER. Se il cavo di alimentazione è
danneggiato, farlo sostituire dal servizio post-vendita
Berthoud. Berthoud declina ogni responsabilità in caso
d’incidenti provocati da un utilizzo del GREEN POWER non
conforme alle norme di sicurezza o in caso di utilizzo al di
fuori del campo di spiegazione o nel caso di modifiche del
GREEN POWER o a causa di un intervento sulla parte
elettrica.
Non utilizzare il GREEN POWER in un ambiente che
presenti rischi di esplosione o in prossimità di materiale
infiammabile. Non utilizzare in zone aride per evitare i rischi
d’incendio. Non dirigere il getto di aria calda verso persone
o animali. Non dirigere il getto d’aria calda verso lo stesso
punto per un periodo molto lungo.
Fare attenzione a non propagare il calore verso materiali
nascosti infiammabili provocandone l’incendio.
Dopo il suo utilizzo, appoggiare il GREEN POWER sul suo
supporto (Fig. 1, n.7) in tutta sicurezza e lasciarlo
completamente raffreddare prima di riporlo.
Non lasciare il GREEN POWER in marcia senza
sorveglianza.
Non esporre il GREEN POWER alla pioggia o all’umidità.
Non immergere il GREEN POWER nell’acqua.
Staccare l’apparecchio prima di cambiare gli accessori o di
riporlo.
Non toccare l’ugello mentre è caldo. (Fig. 1, n.8).
Non ostruire mai le bocche d’aerazione (Fig. 1, n. ).
3 – CAMPO DI APPLICAZIONE
Il GREEN POWER è destinato a un utilizzo
privato e domestico.
Esso permette di trattare le erbacce creando
uno choc termico. L’ascesa rapida della
temperatura fa esplodere le cellule della pianta e distrugge
le erbacce.

Messa in marcia
Assicurarsi che l’ugello (8) sia ben fissato e che
l’interruttore (4) sia su ‘OFF’ (Fig. 2A). Collegare il GREEN
POWER con il cavo di alimentazione (3) sulla rete di
alimentazione elettrica solo dopo essersi assicurati che le
misure di sicurezza siano rispettate.
Assicurarsi che non ci sia nulla davanti all’ugello quando si
accende il GREEN POWER.
Porre il GREEN POWER in funzione mettendo l’interruttore
su ‘riscaldamento’ (Fig. 2B).
Mantenere il GREEN POWER per la sua maniglia
ergonomica (1). Per maggiore conforto, si può adattare la
presa dell’apparecchio mantenendo la maniglia
ergonomica più o meno alta. (Fig. 3).
Per raggiungere la temperatura di utilizzo, fare scaldare
l’apparecchio per 4 secondi.
Per trattare le erbacce, appoggiare l’ugello (8) sopra
facendolo riposare al suolo per 3 secondi.
7 – USO: ACCENDERE UN BARBECUE
Questo apparecchio può inoltre servire ad accendere la
carbonella dei vostri barbecue. In questo caso, rispettare le
istruzioni e le raccomandazioni dei fabbricanti di barbecue.
Per accendere la carbonella, collocare la carbonella al
centro del barbecue e posizionare l’ugello dell’apparecchio
a qualche centimetro da essa. Assicurarsi che
l’accendifuoco sia adeguatamente posizionato in direzione
della carbonella. Mettere l’apparecchio in modalità
‘riscaldamento’ (Fig2B) e mantenerlo in questa posizione
fino a quando la carbonella diventa incandescente.
L’operazione richiede dai 30 secondi ai 2 minuti, a seconda
del tipo di carbonella. Quando la carbonella è
sufficientemente calda, questa diventa rossa e le fiamme
possono giungere fino all’ugello: significa che il vostro
barbecue è acceso. Spegnere l’apparecchio prima di
ritirarlo dal fuoco e lasciarlo raffreddare prima di riporlo
(vedere paragrafo seguente). Evitare che le parti calde
dell’apparecchio accendifuoco sfiorino il cavo elettrico
flessibile o altri materiali infiammabili.
Spegnere il dispositivo
Prima di fermare completamente l’apparecchio, è
necessario passare a una fase di raffreddamento. Premere
l’interruttore (4) in posizione “Ventilazione“ (Fig2C). La
ventilazione deve durare minimo 30 secondi.
Una volta terminata quest’operazione, si può premere
l’interruttore su OFF (Fig2A) spegnendo il GREEN
POWER.
8 - STOCCAGGIO
Prima di riporlo, assicurarsi che l’apparecchio sia
completamente freddo. L’apparecchio deve essere posato
al suolo sul suo supporto (7) o appeso al muro al suo punto
di ancoraggio (2).

10 - GARANZIA
Questo prodotto è garantito un anno contro ogni difetto di materia o di fabbricazione a contare dalla data di acquisto da parte
dell’utilizzatore, su presentazione della fattura d’acquisto o semplicemente del ticket di cassa. Questa garanzia consiste nella
riparazione dell’apparecchio difettoso.
La nostra garanzia esclude:
- lo smontaggio non autorizzato dell’apparecchio,
- i pezzi usurati,
- i materiali modificati,
- i materiali usati in infrazione con le raccomandazioni che figurano nel presente foglio informativo,
– il materiale di cui è stato fatto un uso scorretto,
- le degradazioni consecutive a utilizzi negligenti: choc, cadute, ecc.
La nostra garanzia non copre gli incidenti che riguardano il deterioramento o un utilizzo difettoso e anormale del materiale.
La garanzia legale per difetti di conformità e vizi nascosti si applica secondo le condizioni degli articoli 1641 a 1649 del Codice
Civile francese.
