rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Make sure the cord is kept away from
highly travelled areas so that it will not be tripped over.
• To disconnect the heater, turn controls to OFF then remove the plug from
the outlet.
• Connect power cord to properly grounded electrical outlets only.
• DO NOT allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening
in the heater as this may cause electric shock, fire, or damage to the
heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intake or exhaust in any manner.
Do not use on soft surfaces like a bed, where openings may become
blocked.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
• The heater has hot, arcing, or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas
where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
• To prevent overload and blown fuses, do not plug in or use another
appliance on the same electrical circuit as the heater.
• WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, DO NOT use this unit
with any solid-state speed control device.
• Ensure the heater is placed on a stable, secure surface to avoid risk of
tipping it over.
• DO NOT use an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power
strip). Always plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet/receptacle.
• DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions
on this appliance. Doing so will void your warranty. The inside of the unit
contains no serviceable parts. Only qualified personnel should service the
appliance.
• It is normal for the power cord to feel warm to the touch. However, a loose
fit between the outlet and the plug may cause overheating of the plug. If
this occurs, try inserting the plug into a different outlet. Contact a certified
electrician to inspect the damaged outlet.
• In the event of overheating, the heater will automatically shut off. To reset,
turn off or unplug the heater for 10 minutes so components can cool down.
The most common cause of overheating is the collection of dust. Refer to
the Care and Maintenance section in this manual for cleaning instructions.
• The health of birds and some small pets are extremely sensitive to the
fumes given off during the initial use of many appliances. Although these
fumes are not harmful to humans, it is recommended that this heater not
be used around birds and small pets during its initial use until the
manufacturing corrosion coatings burn off.
CAUTION: TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK, MATCH WIDE BLADE OF PLUG TO
WIDE SLOT AND FULLY INSERT.

1. Safety Features
1.1. Tip-Over Switch
This heater includes a safety tip-over protection feature which will shut the heater off in case it is tipped
over. If, at any time, the heater does tip over, put the heater back in the upright position. The heater will
resume its normal operation.
CAUTION: This heater includes a thermal cut-off that shuts the heater off if it overheats due to
abnormal conditions. If this occurs, turn the heater “OFF”, unplug it, and inspect and remove any objects
on or adjacent to the heater. Allow it to cool for a few minutes, and then plug it back in and resume
normal operation.

IF YOUR HEATER FAILS TO OPERATE
• Be sure it is plugged in and that the electrical outlet is working.
• Check for any obstruction. If you find an obstruction, turn the heater OFF. Unplug the heater and wait
at least ten minutes for cool-down. Carefully remove the obstruction. Plug the heater in again and restart
it as described in the OPERATION section.
• If you still notice any defect, detach the plug from the outlet and have the appliance checked by
authorized service personnel only.
• Check that the set temperature is not lower than the current room temperature. Set the desired
temperature higher than the current temperature to restart the heater.
Place the heater on a firm, level surface, free from obstructions, and at least 3' (0.9 m) away from any wall
and any other objects such as furniture, curtains, plants or combustible material.
• With the power and setting control (1) in the “ ” position, plug the heater into a grounded 120 V
outlet.
: The fan and heating elements operate at LOW setting.
: The fan and heating elements operate at 1500 W.
: The fan and heating elements operate at LOW setting with oscillation.
: The fan and heating elements operate at 1500 W with oscillation.
• Turn the thermostat control (3) to the desired setting between “-” and “+.”
• Turn the heater “ON” by turning the power and setting control clockwise to the desired power
setting ( , , or ). The power indicator light (2) will illuminate. The power settings operate
as follows:
WARNING!
•Make sure the plug fits tightly in the outlet. A loose connection may cause overheating
and damage to the plug or heater.
•Disconnect the heater from the power supply when the heater isnot in use.

Operation

Limited 1-year Warranty
This product carries a one (1) year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials.
Trileaf Distribution agrees to replace a defective product, within the stated warranty period,
when returned to the place of purchase with proof of purchase. This product is not
guaranteed against wear or breakage due to misuse and/or abuse.
• Turn the heater OFF and unplug it. Allow it to cool before handling and storing. Use a dry cloth to clean
the external surfaces of the heater.
• DO NOT USE WATER, WAX, POLISH OR ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION.
• Clean your heater by the above-mentioned steps, then pack the heater in its original container and
store it in a cool, dry place.
• This heater is not to be disassembled. Under normal use and circumstances, the motor is factory
lubricated and will require no further lubrication.
We recommend that the heater should be cleaned at least once a month and before storage.

AVERTISSEMENT!
• Lisez attentivement toutes les consignes dans ce guide et utilisez le
radiateur uniquement comme l’indiquent les consignes. L'utilisation du

• N’utilisez PAS le radiateur à l'extérieur.
• N’utilisez PAS le radiateur dans un endroit où il y a de l’eau stagnante. Ne
placez pas le radiateur où il pourrait tomber dans une baignoire ou un
autre récipient contenant de l'eau. Ne touchez pas le tableau de
commande ou ne branchez pas le radiateur en ayant les mains mouillées.
• N’acheminez PAS le cordon d'alimentation sous un tapis. Ne couvrez pas
le cordon d'alimentation avec un tapis ou tout article similaire.
Assurez-vous que le cordon se trouve à l’écart d’un lieu passant pour que
personne ne risque de trébucher dessus. Pour débrancher le radiateur,
tournez les boutons de commande vers la position OFF (arrêt), puis retirez
la fiche de la prise d'alimentation.
• Branchez le cordon d'alimentation uniquement à une prise électrique
correctement mise à la terre.

CONSERVEZ CES CONSIGNES.
• N'insérez PAS pas d'objets étrangers dans les ouvertures d'aération ou
d'échappement puisque cela peut endommager le radiateur et risque de
causer des chocs électriques ou un incendie.
• Pour prévenir tout risque d'incendie, n'obstruez pas les entrées et les sorties
d'air. Ne posez pas le radiateur sur des surfaces molles, comme un lit, où les
ouvertures risquent de se retrouver obstruées.
• Le radiateur comporte des pièces chaudes ou des pièces qui produisent
des arcs ou des étincelles à l'intérieur. N'utilisez pas cet appareil dans des
endroits où de l'essence, de la peinture ou des matériaux inflammables
sont utilisés ou rangés.
• Pour éviter les surcharges et les fusibles grillés, ne branchez pas ni n'utilisez
un autre appareil sur le même circuit électrique que le radiateur.
• AVERTISSEMENT : Pour réduire le risque d'incendie ou de choc électrique,
n'utilisez PAS cet appareil avec un dispositif à semi-conducteurs de
réglage de la vitesse.
• Assurez-vous que le radiateur est placé sur une surface stable et sécurisée
afin d’éviter tout risque de renversement.
• N'utilisez PAS une rallonge ou une prise d'alimentation amovible (barre
d'alimentation/multiprise). Branchez toujours le radiateur directement à
une prise murale.
• N'essayez PAS de réparer ou d'ajuster les fonctions électriques ou
mécaniques sur cet appareil. Cela annulera votre garantie. Il n'y aucune
pièce réparable à l'intérieur de l'appareil. Seul du personnel qualifié doit
réparer l'appareil.
• Le cordon d’alimentation peut sembler chaud au toucher. Ceci est
normal. Cependant, si la fiche est insérée de manière lâche dans la prise,
une surchauffe de la fiche peut se produire. Si cela se produit, essayez
d'insérer la fiche dans une prise de courant différente. Contactez un
électricien certifié pour inspecter la prise endommagée.
• En cas de surchauffe, le radiateur s'arrête automatiquement. Pour
réinitialiser le radiateur, éteignez ou débranchez le réchauffeur pendant 10
minutes afin que les composants puissent refroidir. La cause la plus
fréquente de surchauffe est la collecte des poussières. Reportez-vous à la
section Entretien de ce guide pour les instructions de nettoyage.
• Les oiseaux et certains petits animaux de compagnie sont extrêmement
sensibles aux fumées dégagées lors de l'utilisation initiale de nombreux
appareils. Bien que ces fumées ne soient pas nocives pour les humains, il
est recommandé que ce radiateur ne soit pas utilisé autour des oiseaux et
de petits animaux de compagnie pendant son utilisation initiale jusqu'à ce
que les revêtements anticorrosion de fabrication soient brûlés.

1. Dispositif de sécurité
1.1. Circuit de protection antibasculement
Ce radiateur comprend un circuit de protection antibasculement qui coupe automatiquement le
courant si l’appareil bascule. Si, à tout moment, le radiateur se renverse, remettez le radiateur en
position verticale. Le radiateur reprendra son fonctionnement normal.
ATTENTION: Ce radiateur comprend un circuit de protection thermique qui arrête
automatiquement l’appareil s’il commence à surchauffer en raison de conditions anormales. Si cela se
produit, éteignez le radiateur, débranchez-le et inspectez et retirez tous les objets sur le radiateur ou à
proximité de celui-ci. Laissez-le refroidir pendant quelques minutes, puis rallumez-le et réutilisez-le
normalement.

• Avec le bouton d'alimentation et de réglage (1) en position ( ), branchez le radiateur à une prise
mise à la terre de 120V.
• Mettez le radiateur en marche en tournant le bouton d'alimentation et de réglage en sens horaire
au réglage de puissance souhaité ( , , ou ). Le voyant d'alimentation (2) s'allumera. Les
réglages de puissance fonctionnent de la manière suivante:
• Tournez le bouton de commande du thermostat (3) au réglage souhaité entre «-» et «+».
SI VOTRE RADIATEUR NE FONCTIONNE PAS
• Assurez-vous que le radiateur est branché et que la prise électrique fonctionne.
• Vérifiez s'il y a des obstructions. Si vous trouvez une obstruction, éteignez le radiateur. Débranchez le
radiateur et attendez au moins 10 minutes pour le laisser refroidir. Retirez avec précaution l'obstruction.
Branchez le radiateur et redémarrez-le comme décrit dans la section UTILISATION.
• Si vous remarquez toujours un défaut, débranchez la fiche de la prise et faites réparer l'appareil
uniquement par du personnel de service autorisé.
• Vérifiez que la température de consigne n’est pas inférieure à la température ambiante actuelle.
Réglez la température souhaitée au point de consigne plus haut que la température actuelle pour
redémarrer le radiateur.
Placez le radiateur sur une surface ferme et plane sans obstruction, et à au moins 3pi (0,9 m) de tout
mur et de tout autre objet comme les meubles, les rideaux, les plantes ou les matériaux combustibles.
AVERTISSEMENT!
• Assurez-vous que la fiche est fermement branchée dans la prise. Une mauvaise connexion
pourrait entraîner un risque de surchauffe et endommager la fiche et le radiateur.
• Débranchez le radiateur de la source d'alimentation lorsqu’il n'est pas utilisé.

: Le ventilateur et les éléments chauffants fonctionnent sur 1500 W.

Utilisation

Garantie limitée de 1 an
Ce produit comprend une garantie d’un (1) an contre les défauts de fabrication et de matériaux.
Distribution Trifeuil consent à remplacer l’article défectueux lorsqu’il est retourné à l’endroit de
l’achat, accompagné de la preuve d’achat, au cours de la période de garantie convenue. Ce
produit n’est pas garanti contre l’usure ou le bris causés par un usage abusif ou inapproprié.
• Mettez le radiateur hors tension et débranchez-le. Laissez-le refroidir avant de le manipuler et de
l’entreposer. Utilisez un chiffon sec pour nettoyer les surfaces externes du radiateur.
• N’UTILISEZ PAS D’EAU, DE CIRE, DE PRODUIT DE POLISSAGE OU TOUTE SOLUTION CHIMIQUE.
• Nettoyez votre radiateur selon les étapes susmentionnées, puis placez le radiateur dans son carton
d'origine et rangez-le dans un endroit frais et sec.
• Ce radiateur ne doit pas être désassemblé. Le moteur est lubrifié en usine et ne nécessite aucune
autre lubrification dans des conditions et circonstances normales d'utilisation
Nous recommandons que le radiateur soit nettoyé au moins une fois par mois et avant de l’entreposer.
