2. Advice prior to the installation of
Bekazur
Ground preparation: to ensure your Bekazur fence is stable,
it must be installed on a stable base (tiles on concrete screed
- min. 250kg/CPA). If your pool does not have a tiled surroun-
ding, you need to create concrete blocks and screw in the
bases, or use the posts to be embedded.
It is recommended that Bekazur be installed at least one metre
from the water. For private pools for individual or family use, it is
also recommended that you do not install Bekazur too far from
the pool, so it does not lose its effectiveness.
There should not be a fixed (e.g. low wall) or mobile
support point and:
- on the outside of the barrier in relation to the pool - for
all types of barrier (railings or solid panels) - ensure there
is nothing within a radius of 1.10 m;
- on the inside of the barrier in relation to the pool - for
railing fences only - ensure there is nothing with a distance
of less than 0.4 m from the barrier.
Tools necessary for assembly:
spirit level, guiding line,
rotary hammer,
measuring tape, wedge,
screwdriver, etc.

Installing at an angle
Preparation:
First drive in the pegs
at the ends and corners of the
fence. Hold a rope between
these pegs using a spirit level.
This will reveal any differences
in level that need to be
smoothed out or flattened.
Along the rope, determine the
places where the posts are to
be installed.
Step 1:
Every 213 cm (for 2 m panels)
or 109 cm (for 1 m panels),
dig a 30 x 30 cm hole 50 cm
deep. Lay the first panel on
the ground. Attach it to the
first two posts (see 3.1).
Pour a small amount of
concrete (+/- 10 cm) into the
first two holes. Then place the
posts into the concrete.
Step 2:
Place at the correct height,
using the spirit level. Pour
dry concrete around the two
posts and press down firmly.
Adjust.
3.2 Installation with posts to be embedded in the con-
crete
6
Step 3:
Attach the next panel to the
third post (see 3.1). Position
the panel and post in the third
hole and attach the panel to
the second post (see 3.1). Add
concrete and compress. Place
the subsequent panels in the
same way. Add a temporary
support on each side every
three panels.
Advice:
Ensure a distance of
+/- 8 cm between the panel
and the ground.
7
White laminated aluminium
bases are perfect for placing
panels on low walls or
concrete floors, for example.
Screw in the bases using the
fixings of your choice (e.g. M6
stainless steel expanding stud
bolts, or using the discretion
of the installer depending
on the support). They must
provide maximum stability.
3.3 Installation with posts on a base
3. Installing the fence on
soft ground
1. Fix the first post in the desired location on the wall/ground.
2. Fix the panel to the second post (see 3.1)
3. Position everything and attach the panel to the
first post (see 3.1)
4. Fix the second post to the wall/ground.
Continue in the same way.
Follow the steps below:
8
WARNING:
When installing the fence, ensure
that you do not fix the posts to the
channel that runs along the pool
or to anywhere else with stagnant
water (see illustration).
9
Use 139 cm high panels, to comply with the standard
when installing the fence on sloping ground. This allows
you to respect the minimum 110 cm distance between
two support points (see illustration).
The fence is installed on sloping ground in the same way
as on flat ground. Specific 145 cm posts (for fixing with
base) and 180 cm posts (for embedding) are available for
this purpose.
4. Installing the fence on
sloping ground
1. 139 cm high panel
2. 145 cm long post (installation on base)
3. 180 cm long post (to be embedded)
10
5. Installing the gate
Attach the strike plate to the post
so that the gate opens towards
the outside of the fence
11
5. Installing the gate
Detailed instructions for mounting
the gate are provided with the product.
Option: self-closing hinges.
These replace the standard hinges supplied with the gate
and allow it to close automatically.
12
The pool may constitute a serious danger for your
children. Drowning can happen very quickly. Children
near a pool require constant supervision and active
surveillance, even if they know how to swim.
This fence is not a substitute for common sense or
personal responsibility. It is also not intended to be a
substitute for supervision by responsible adults, which
remains the key factor in protecting young children. The
means of access must be systematically closed in the
event of even temporary absence from the home.
Take all possible measures to prevent access to the pool
by young children until the barrier or access means has
been repaired when a malfunction has been observed or
when dismantling the barrier, preventing the pool from
being secured.
The presence of a parent and/or responsible adult is
essential when the pool is open.
Learn first aid.
Memorise the emergency service numbers and display
them near the pool:
Fire brigade:
Ambulance:
Poison control centre:
Regularly check that the
closing system
is working.

This barrier is not a substitute for common sense or
personal responsibility. It is also not intended to be a
substitute for supervision by parents and/or responsible
adults, which remains the key factor in protecting young
children.
Warning! Safety can only be guaranteed if the means of
access is closed and locked.
The means of access must be systematically closed in
the event of an even temporary absence of supervision.
Take all possible measures to prevent access to the pool
by young children when the barrier or access is being
repaired or when the barrier has been removed.
Ensure that there is no object near the barrier that could
encourage or facilitate the climbing of the barrier.
The closing mechanism of the means of access
for automatic closing systems must be checked
systematically.
