READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS TO AVOID SERIOUS INJURY
The BICS® BASIC is used as a protective measure against direct transfer of bodily uids, such as
sneezing, coughing and breathing. The BICS® BASIC will greatly reduce the chance on infection,
but does not completely eliminate the chance of infection.
WARNING: Always pay attention to road and trafc conditions when driving.
WARNING: The BICS® BASIC may obstruct the view while driving. The BICS®BASIC may glint by
light sources, such as the sun, other cars lights as well as interior lights. Always make sure there is
enough visibility while driving.
WARNING: The BICS® BASIC is to be assembled by adults only.
The BICS® BASIC is developed for use inside vehicles, without inuence of wheather conditions
and UV light. The material of the BICS®is sensitive to UV-light and can slightly change color
(yellowish). It is important to only use the BICS®BASIC inside vehicles and that they are properly
stored in a dry place when not in use. The BICS® BASIC should not be exposed to UV radiation
and wheather inuences.
The BICS®BASIC can be cleaned and/or disinfected with most common cleaning agents up
to a concentration of 10 % at room temperature. Always ask the vendor of your BICS®BASIC
screen whether the cleaning agent and the concentration you have chosen is applicable to the
material of the BICS® BASIC! In case you use a cleaning agent, not applicable to the shield, it can
irreversibly damage the screen such that the visibility and transparency is reduced!. This can lead
to dangerous trafc situations!
When cleaning the BICS® BASIC inside the vehicle, be careful not to allow cleansing agent to leak
into the vehicle.

- This is a car screen – not a toy! To avoid risk of re, burns and personal injury, it
should not be placed where small children can reach it.
- Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, replaces, candles, or other similar
sources of heat.
- Do not secure product with staples or nails or place on sharp hooks or nails.
- Do not use this product for other than its intended purpose.
- Do not hang ornaments or other objects on the product.
- Avoid contact with hot or sharp objects.
- This is not a lifesaving device.
- Not for use by children.
- Do not use this product under the inuence of alcohol or drugs.
- Do not use the car screen after an impact or accident.
- Do not use tools to install the screen, the required fasteners are included.
Make sure that the BICS® BASIC does not interfere with airbags or other safety equipment or other
safety requirements.
Do not use the BICS® BASIC at home. It has not been designed for home use and should only be
used in your vehicle. Never use the car screen without fastening the product securely, and never
attempt to use it without fastening into the vehicle. Do not add anything to the screen or modify it in
any way.
The BICS® BASIC must not be used without fastening to the vehicle, as shown in the users
manual. Always use the fasteners that are delivered with the BICS® BASIC.

VS 1
Unfold on clean surface. Lace the black tube through
the holes in the perimeter of the screen. Start with the
second hole. The screen lm might strip up along the
tube, but this will be straightened in the next step.
Open box
Note: Do not use knife or other sharp objects to
open the box. The content is very fragile.
Pull the screen further over the exible tube to the
other side and position the other end of the screen
in the notch of the exible tube as well.

Supplies
1x BICS BASIC screen
1x Black tube
6x Velcro 65 cm
Fix the velcro straps around the tube at three
spots at the right and left side of the screen
(6 velcro straps in total).
Open both backdoors of your car.
Fasten the velcro staps around the B-pillars of the car,
after which you can close the doors again.
