Technical Data
● The above data are measured under the Standard Test Conditions (STC) with
1000W/m2 of irradiance, Air Mass 1.5 and 25°C of cell temperature. The test device
and procedure comply with IEC 60904.
● To give you a better experience, parameters of SP400/SP200 solar panels are
optimized to match with the BigBlue CP2500 power stations to maximize their
performance. If the parameters match as required, you can use the product to
recharge the portable power stations of other brands. But BigBlue does not guaran-
tee that the performance can be maximized.
● In some special cases, the current or voltage generated by the component may be
greater than the optimal operating current or voltage under the Standard Test
Conditions (STC). Therefore, the component’s open-circuit voltage and short-circuit
current under the STC should be multiplied by 1.25 when determining the compo-
nent’s rating values and load values.

Cleaning and Maintenance
5. The angle of the sunlight on the solar panel changes as time or latitude changes. To
achieve the maximum efficiency, adjust the orientation or angle of the panel to make
its surface perpendicular to the sun's rays again.
6. When the product is used in windy or gusty environments, use a rope to fix the
panel through the metal ring on the panel to prevent it from being blown down.
When the wind force reaches 5 or above, stop using the product to avoid damage
unless you have taken sufficient protection measures.
7. The solar panel produces heat when it is in use. To make it portable and reliable,
we use a kind of material which may become soft at high temperatures. Therefore,
the panel may deform slightly at high temperatures — this is a normal phenomenon.
It returns to its original state when the temperature becomes normal.
8. Before unplugging the product from the power outlet and removing the cables,
fold the panel up or overspread it with a light-proof covering to prevent light
exposure. Light exposure may produce voltage.
9. Pack the product and store it safely.
1. Store the product in a dry and well-ventilated place. If the product gets caught in
the rain, allow it to air dry before storage.
2. Do not place the product under heavy objects during transportation or use.
Throwing and dropping the product can damage the product.
3. Keep the original packaging box safely for product storage and better protection
when not in use.
4. Prevent rodents from destroying the product, especially the cables.
5. Protect the MC4 connector away from water. Risk of product damage and electric
shock!
6.The edges of the back will be worn and burred after long periods of use or if the
product is operated improperly. This is a normal phenomenon and won’t degrade
the product performance and safety. Use it as usual.
7. For optimal performance, use a cloth to remove dust from the product surface or
rinse it with water. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or
other chemical solutions as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
8. Remove leaves, bird droppings, etc. from the product surface in time. Otherwise, it
may seriously degrade the electrical performance of the product, or even cause
burning or fire due to hotspots in serious cases.Once the product is burnt out, stop
using it immediately to prevent accidents.

FAQs
9. Regularly check whether the product is damaged or burnt out; whether the cable
and plug are damaged; whether the insulation protection is proper and whether the
metal part in the plug is corroded.
1. Why is the charging efficiency low when the product is used to recharge my
devices?
● A solar panel captures the sun’s energy and turns it into electricity. The intensity of
solar radiation that a solar panel receives depends on a variety of factors, including
season, time of day and cloud cover, etc. The product output power decreases when
the solar radiation intensity becomes low. The output power and charging efficiency
return to normal when the radiation intensity becomes normal.
2. Why is the actual power measured using a simple device lower than the nominal
power?
● The nominal maximum output (rated output) of a solar panel is measured under
the STC (Standard Test Conditions, the world-recognized standard test conditions for
ground-mounted solar panels or modules). The “Standard Test Conditions” are
defined as being 1000 W/m2 of irradiance when the cell temperature is 25°C with an
air mass (AM) of 1.5. Besides, the test device must be at least BBB rated according to
IEC 60904 (BigBlue uses AAA rated test device). If your test device does not meet this
requirement, the results measured may vary greatly.
3. Why can't I recharge my electric appliances?
● Ensure that your product is properly connected and used under normal sunlight
conditions. If this error persists, use a voltmeter to measure the voltage at the output
port. For safety reasons, connect the test instrument with the product before you
expose the product to sunlight and start measuring.
4. Why does the output power drop significantly when there are bird droppings on
the product?
● This product is composed of multiple high-efficiency solar cells connected in series.
If shading is caused in one of the cells, for example, by leaves or bird droppings, it will
inhibit the cell’s function to generate electricity. Moreover, this cell becomes a load
consuming the power generated by other cells. As a result, the shadowed cell
consumes a lot of power, thus causing hotspots or even burning the product in
serious cases. Therefore, once shading in cells is discovered, immediately correct it.

d’autres marques.
