Tap beam

with a rubber mallet to

ensure the end studs are fully located

in the bottom of the keyholes

Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you have

created a ‘ladder style frame’

Select two posts

and push on plastic

feet

to the bases. Insert a short side

beam

into the keyholes at the lowest

shelf level required Tip: Now is a good

time to check the

space between

beams suits the

items you want to

store on the shelves

and adjust as

required.

Shelving bays can be joined together

with Tie Plates. Use 4 per join – 2 front

and back. Tap into place with a rubber

mallet

For tall or narrow shelving we recommend

wall xing where possible. Use Wall Ties

towards the top of each bay and x with

suitable screws and plugs (not provided)

For A4 Lever arch le

storage, allow 8 clear

holes in the posts

between each shelf

Select two more posts

and repeat

steps 1 to 3 until you have a second

‘ladder style frame’

Take two long beams

and insert them

into the keyholes on one frame at the

same height as the short beams. Tap

into place with a rubber mallet

Insert the other ends of the beams

into the second frame as in step 5

Tip: Use the rst frame as a template

to get the correct spacing

frames in place while you secure them

Repeat steps 5 and 6 to add the

remaining long beams

Insert chipboard decks

into each

level - decks sit on the inside angled

edge of beams

Check all decks are in place and that the

shelving bay is standing on a level oor.

The shelving is now ready to use

n Maximum post height = 3048mm

n Single bays and multiple linked bays with a minimum of 5 levels per bay

n Similar distances (height) between levels

n Bays are positioned on a level oor

Select two uprights

and push on

plastic feet

to the bases. Insert a

short side beam

into the keyholes at

the lowest shelf level required. Ensure

the beam is 90 degrees to the upright

Tap beam

with a

rubber mallet to ensure

the end studs are fully

located in the bottom of the

keyholes on both uprights.

Lean the uprights

against

a wall for support if needed

Repeat steps 1 and 2

until you have created a

“ladder style frame”

Select two more uprights

and repeat steps 1 to 3

until you have a second

“ladder style frame”

Locate a centre support beam

onto

the metal studs on the centre of each

long beam

for all levels

as a template to get the

correct spacing

Take two long beams

and

insert them into the keyholes on

one frame at the same height as

the short beams. Tap into place

with a rubber mallet

Repeat steps 5 and 6 to add the

remaining long beams. Ensure that

each long beam is located at the

same height as the side beams

time to check the

space between beams

bay and x with suitable screws and

plugs (not provided).

These load charts relate to shelving layouts with the following specications:

n Maximum upright height = 3048 mm

n Single bays and multiple linked bays with a minimum of 3 levels per bay

n Similar distances (height) between levels

n Bays are positioned on a level oor

For any other layouts, please refer to your supplier for detailed loading capacities

Shelf load capacities

Maximum permitted shelf capacities are based on uniformly distributed loads (UDL). Please note that the bay capacity may limit the maximum load per shelf:

Optional steel feet are also available

with levelling shims. Simply bolt each

foot to the bottom hole in the upright

using nuts, washers and bolts provided.

Position the racking and add shims

under feet to level if needed. Feet can

also be bolted to the oor using 70mm

sleeve anchors.

n Maximum post height = 915mm

n Single benches and multiple linked benches with a minimum of 2 levels per bay

The maximum load permitted is 400kg for T Bar benches. However, this is dependant on the maximum shelf load capacities as detailed below.

These load charts relate to workbenches with the following specications:

n Maximum post height = 915mm

n Single benches and multiple linked benches with a minimum of 2 levels per bay

n Similar distances (height) between levels

n Benches are positioned on a level oor

For any other layouts, please refer to your supplier for detailed loading capacities

Shelf load capacities

Maximum permitted shelf capacities are based on uniformly distributed loads (UDL). Please note that the bench capacity may limit the maximum load per shelf:

These load charts relate to workbenches with the following specications:

n Maximum post height = 915mm

n Single benches and multiple linked benches with a minimum of 2 levels per bay

n Similar distances (height) between levels

n Benches are positioned on a level oor

For any other layouts, please refer to your supplier for detailed loading capacities

Bench Load Capacities

The maximum load permitted is 100kgs total for 2 shelf benches.

Shelf load capacities

Maximum permitted shelf capacity is 100kg and based on uniformly distributed loads (UDL). Please note that the above bench capacity may limit the maximum load per shelf.

Take one long beam (B

insert into the keyholes on one

frame at the bottom. Tap into

place with a rubber mallet

Insert the other end of the beam

into the second frame as in step 4

Repeat step 5 to join the tops of the

frame together with the remaining

base brackets using a 30mm M10 bolt

and nylock nut

Turn the assembled bench frame upside

down and t the base brackets to each

post. Use 4x M6 nut, bolt and washer

sets (E with a 13mm spanner

Turn the bench frame back over and

insert chipboard decks

Fit protective caps

onto the top of

each post to complete the bench

Push a plastic foot

onto the base of

all 6 uprights Create one end frame by joining a

1677mm long and 915mm

long upright with 2 side beams

E + F as shown. Ensure the

bottom beam F has the centre

clips for the foot rest. Tap beam

with a rubber mallet to ensure

t h e e n d s t u d s a r e f u l l y l o c a t e d

in the bottom of the keyholes

Take the centre foot rest and

locate onto the centre studs on the

lower beam . Tap into place with a

rubber mallet

Build a second end frame as in Step 2,

but handed the opposite way. Join this

to the centre foot rest as in step 3

Repeat step 8 on the opposite side and

join together with 4 front & back beams

Locate the centre support

onto the

studs in the long top beams

and tap

into place

Tip: If you want to create trays rather than shelves

then insert the cross beams upside down

Push protective plastic caps onto

the top of each upright to complete the

workstation

12 Optional steel feet are also available

with levelling Shims. Simply bolt each

foot to the bottom hole in the upright

using nuts, washers and bolts provided.

Position the bench and add shims

under feet to level if needed. Feet can

also be bolted to the oor using 70mm

sleeve anchors

Push a plastic

foot onto the base of

all 6 uprights

Take 2 front & back beams

and insert

each into the keyholes on one frame at

the bottom. Tap into place with a rubber

mallet

Stand one of the 746mm uprights

onto

the bench top and join to the rear upright

with a 305mm side beam

. Repeat with a

second side beam for the top shelf

Repeat step 8 on the opposite side and

join together with 4 front & back beams

Insert chipboard decks

into place on

both top levels

Locate the centre support
