Connection to vehicle
-Plug GAT Next dongle to OBDII port of your
vehicle. Usually this port is located under
the dash board at driver’s side.
-Once dongle is plugged you should notice
a led light blinking in dongle.
-Open your iOS device WiFi connection
menu. Normally it is located: Settings 
Wi-Fi

-Find new SSID with name GATxxxxx where
xxxxx is your GAT unique number and
connect to it.
-Once connection is established press ‘i’
letter at the right side from GAT SSID
-In new setting window configure GAT WiFi
connection as shown above:
Configure IP: Manual mode
Static IP: 10.10.65.2
Gateway: 255.255.255.0
This configuration is required one time
only at initial connection with GAT Next
dongle.

-Once configuration is completed exit WiFi
menu and start GAT Coder app
-Select ‘Connection’ from Main Menu
-In new menu press ‘Connect’ button in the
bottom.
If you want also to download from server
vehicle’s options FA list turn ‘FA List’
switch to right position.

-Connection information will appear on
display shortly after communication
between iOS device and vehicle started.

-After connection is established you should
see a message advising about current
status of connection
-Blue line will appear on top of display
showing that connection is established

-If ‘FA List’ switch was enabled prior to
connection, you may scroll down to see
vehicle details. Please note that FA List
function requires internet connection
available in your iOS device.
-To disconnect from vehicle return back to
‘Connection’ menu and press ‘Connect’
button again.
-You will notice status message on display
after vehicle disconnected.

showing that connection is no longer
established
