Introduction
The present Operation Manual EX0160.00.00 is intended for familiarizing
consumers with the technical data for Exhauster H-0160 Smoke Exhauster as well
as with instructions on installation, preparation for work, and technical
maintenance.
Prior to start of work and use of the Smoke Exhauster it is necessary to
follow the operating procedures issued by the manufacturing plants for the supplied
equipment in addition to this Operation Manual.
Works on installation and adjustment can be performed by the owner of the
unit while meeting the requirements of the basic safety rules. The installation work
shall be carried out only when the unit is disconnected from the mains.
Due to continuous enhancement of the structure (construction) of Smoke
Exhausters as well as their manufacturing technology this Operation Manual might
contain some discrepancies in terms of description of the product (unit) and the
unit itself, and such discrepancies do not impact on the unit efficiency,
performance data, and mounting dimensions.
1Product Description
1.1 Purpose
Exhauster H-0160 Smoke Exhauster is intended for operation on chimney
flues with diameter of 160 mm. The Smoke Exhauster is widely used in heating
systems to ensure uninterrupted and smooth operation of the boiler especially at
start as well as to guarantee proper discharge of flue gases.
Efficient operation of the Smoke Exhauster is achieved owing to the
software of AIR automatic equipment as well as due to use of high-quality
materials and components of world-known and domestic manufacturers.

3Operation Concept
The Smoke Exhauster H-0160 is connected to the control unit, and this
control unit controls the smoke exhauster operation process. The Smoke Exhauster
is equipped with a blower of hot air circulation of R2E150-AN91-05AC current
what allows operating the unit easily.
4Safety Measures
Prior to carrying out of any actions associated with the smoke exhauster
clean-up or maintenance make sure that the unit is de-energized.
And in addition, turn off the heating equipment to exclude flow of flue gases
in the chimney flue.
5Installation
The Smoke Exhauster is mounted into the chimney flue of the corresponding
diameter. A hollowing is done in the chimney flue in accordance with dimensions
described in the Operation Manual or along the outline of stencil mask indicated in
the Operation Manual (89 (across the flue) :330 mm (along the flue)). Further, the
smoke exhauster outline that has a contact with the chimney flue is treated with
heat-resistant sealant material according to the rules mentioned by the
manufacturing plant and mounted into the hole with tightening tightly and sealing
the contact with a clamp.

Further, the fan is connected to the automatic equipment and the Smoke
Exhauster is adjusted for proper operation.
6Technical Maintenance
6.1 Technical maintenance procedure
Switch off the smoke exhauster and let it cool down. Disconnect the power
cable. Suspend (stop) operation of your boiler or stove to exclude the flow of flue
gases in the chimney flue. Remove the smoke exhauster from the chimney flue and
remove the fan from the smoke exhauster. Remove accumulated ash from the
smoke exhauster unit using brush and vacuum cleaner. Then it is required to clear
the smoke exhauster mounting spot off any contamination (dirt) and sealant
material. The same procedure shall be carried on the smoke exhauster. Further, it
is required to assemble the whole construction (aggregate) without forgetting to put

a sealant heat-resistant cardboard between the fan and the smoke exhauster. It is
required to verify unhindered rotation of fan blades and then complete items
mentioned in Part 5 Installation. As well as replacement of sealant material shall be
carried out per recommendations of the manufacturing plant.
Technical maintenance shall be performed from time to time as dirt is
accumulated, once per two months is average normal period for the technical
maintenance.
6.2 Storage Instructions
The Smoke Exhauster shall be stored in closed heated premises in cardboard
or wooden boxes under the following conditions:
-surrounding air temperature from 0 to 40°С;
-relative air humidity of not more than 90% under temperature of 35°С. ВThere
should be no dust, fumes of acid and alkaline as well as aggressive gases in the
premises air.
Note: No special equipment or tools are required for technical maintenance
performance.

8Warranty Obligations
The manufacturer guarantees failure-free operation of Smoke Exhauster H-
0160 for the period of 12 months starting from the date of the first startup (putting
into operation), but not longer than 24 months from the date of manufacture and on
conditions that the unit is operated properly and undergoes technical maintenance
in a timely manner.
Warranty for the fan is granted for the period of 1 year.
Warranty is valid only on the territory of the country where the smoke
exhauster was sold to a user by the authorized representative of the manufacturer.
For all issues relating to warranty a user shall go to the seller of the smoke
exhauster.
Warranty is valid:
-if a user has not incorporated (made) any changes into the smoke exhauster
configuration and construction;
Warranty does not cover smoke exhauster, as well as defects occurred through:
-user’s fault due to violation of operation rules for the smoke exhauster;
-willful damage;
-repair (or attempt to repair) performed by an unauthorized individual;
-power outages;
-natural disasters (lightning strike, fire, flood, submergence, etc.).
The list of authorized representatives of the manufacturing plant can be
found on website of LTD «Bioprom Company Kharkov» bioprom.ua.
The manufacturer reserves the right to incorporate changes into the
construction (smoke exhauster configuration) that do not worsen performance data.
