CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
1.1 BEFORE YOU START
Tha nk you for choosing our product. Before yo u sta rt installing the
mo the rboa rd , plea se make su re you fo llo w the ins tru ctio ns be lo w:
Prepare a dry and stable working environment with
s uf ficie nt ligh ting .
Always disconnect the computer from power outlet
be fo re ope ra tion .
Befo re you take the mo the rboa rd ou t f rom a n ti-s ta tic
bag, ground yourself properly by touching any safely
grounde d appliance, or use gro unded wrist strap to
remove the static charge.
Avo id tou ch ing the compone nts o n mo the rboa rd o r the
rear side of the board unless necessary. Hold the boa rd
on the edge, do not try to bend or flex the board.
Do not lea ve any unfastened small parts inside the
case after installation. Loose parts will cause short
circuits which ma y damage the equipment.
Keep the computer from dangerous area,such as heat
source, humid air and wate r.

CHAPTER 2: HARDWARE INSTALLATION
2.1 INSTALLING CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT (CPU)
Step 1: Remove the socket protection cap.
Step 2:Pull thelever towarddirectionAfrom thesocket and then raise the
lever up toa 90-degree angle.
Step 3: Lookfor the whitetriangle on socket, and the gold triangle on
CPU shouldpointtowardsthiswhite triangle.The CPU will fitonly
inthe correctorientation.

Step 4: Hold the CPUdownfirmly, and then close thelever toward direct
B to complete the installation.
Step 5: Put the CPU Fan on the CPUand buckle it. Connect the CPU
FAN power cable to the JCFAN1.Thiscompletestheinstallation.

2.2 FAN HEADERS
These fan headerssupport cooling-fansbuiltinthecomputer.The fan
cable and connectormaybedifferent according tothe fanmanufacturer.
Connect thefancable to the connector while matching the blackwire to
pin#1.

The JCFAN1 supports 4-pin head connector. The J SFAN1 supports 3-pin head
connector. When connecti ng with wires onto connectors, pl ease note that the r ed wire is
the positi ve and should be connected to pin#2, and the black wire is Ground and s hould
be connected to GND.

2.3 INSTALLING SYSTEM MEMORY
A. Memory Modules

1. Unlocka DIMM slotbypressing the retaining clipsoutward.Aligna
DIMM on the slotsuch thatthenotch onthe DIMM matchesthe
breakontheSlot.
2. Insert theDIMM verticallyand firmlyintotheslotuntil theretaining
chip snapbackin place and the DIMM isproperly seated.

The motherboard provides a standard floppy disk connectorthat supports 360K,
720K, 1.2M, 1.44M and 2.88Mfloppy disk types. This connector supports the
providedfloppy drive ribbon cables.

Mode 0~4, Bus Master, and Ultra DMA 33/66/100/133functionality.
