INSTRUCTIONS: HELMET SAFETY LIGHT
Congratulations on the purchase of your new BITEHARDER®Helmet Safety Light,
This product is made with the highest quality materials, to exacting specications, that
will provide you with years of trouble-free use.
This is an aftermarket product designed to be mounted to the back of your snowmobile
helmet to enhance safety visibility and awareness in all conditions for improved
snowmobiling safety.
To get the maximum benet this product has to offer, we recommend you fully read and
follow the “For Best Results”, “Installation Instructions”, and “Safety Warnings” sections
below before starting your Helmet Safety Light Installation. Video instructions are available
on BITEHARDER’s®YouTube Channel or by scanning the QR code.
FOR BEST RESULTS:
• Your Helmet Safety Light is designed to mount on the back, and left side of your helmet. Before
installation, verify (test t) that the entire LED light assembly will properly mount in this area without
any interference.
•During the installation of the light assembly, your helmet should be dry and at room temperature (65
degrees Fahrenheit – minimum). This will allow the 3M adhesive backing on the “LED light strip”
and “power block”, to set up properly.
• After installation allow adhesive backing to cure at room temperature for 12 hours.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
• Using one of the supplied alcohol wipes, thoroughly clean the surface where
the LED light strip will mount on the back-center of your helmet.
•Remove the adhesive backing from the LED light strip, and with the power
cord oriented on the left side, rmly press the LED light strip to the helmet.
Start in the middle and work your way out making sure there are no air gaps
and that the edges are rmly secured.
• Using a second supplied alcohol wipe, thoroughly clean the area where the power block will mount on
the left side of your helmet.
• Remove the adhesive backing from the power block, and with the block oriented as shown in the photos,
rmly press the power block to the helmet.

SAFETY WARNINGS:
When assembled as shown, BITEHARDER®Helmet Safety Lights do not interfere with the function of your
heated shield, which will continue to receive 100% of the power requirements needed for proper operation.
Always connect your heated visors “short power cord” to the helmet safety light power block. When
disconnecting from power, use the connection between the short and long power cords, leaving the short cord
attached to the helmet. This method also protects your snowmobiles accessory power from a short circuit and
blown fuse.
Remember to always route accessory cables in a manner that will not interfere with proper operation of your
snowmobile or cause a choking hazard in the event of an accident.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (continued):
• Connect the cable to your heated visor plug as shown.
• Connect the short cable from your power cord to the plug on the
connector block.
• Clean the helmets surface with the alcohol wipe, and attach a cable
clip(s) as shown.
LIMITED WARRANTY:
Your BITEHARDER®Helmet Safety Light comes with a one-year limited warranty. If your Helmet Safety Light
should fail within the warranty period, BITEHARDER® will repair or replace the unit at no cost. This warranty
does not cover problems caused by improper installation, misuse, modifications or other
factors that fall outside the scope this product was designed to be used for.
